Im so excited for what these two knives have to give. Honestly, i think when mw makes another product, it should be on the “Ori” platform, and they could have compatible blades and hardware similar to How the maryn platform was. I think the compatibility was a staple of Mw products and id be sad to see the concept go.
I have a prysma pro, I don't need a Sasori, and then I flipped one and I really liked it, I think I might like it more than the prysma but I definitely need to flip it more to figure that out because I didn't flip it too much at blade
Liked trying the both this and the Ti one (not trying to spell that name) at blade, but preferred my serif-o and Prysma. They felt delicate or fragile and small. Maybe I’d like it more if I bought it and chucked it on concrete a few times 😂
i feel genuinely sorry for you if you feel that way because its amazing. the handles have genius levels of subtle design choices and the weight system is actually good this time around. on top of that the balance distribution is mind bogglingly good. saying this as someone who usually hates on MW stuff btw
im thinking about getting into the hobby and i was wondering if getting the orion and dulling the blade would be a good option to learn without having to worry about getting cut. or would it be some type of a taboo, and i should just look into getting a trainer blade knife instead
If you're going to just dull the blade anyway I don't see why you wouldn't go with a trainer. A dulled blade can still hurt pretty bad if you don't dull it enough or if you aren't careful with it.
I'm looking for a Sasori trainer, but it appears that only the live blade is available on the Machinewise site. The Tottori trainer is available, but i'm not the biggest fan of sandwich balisongs, and it's at least 200$ more expensive. Do you know where I could find a Sasori trainer?
Hey Ethan I don’t know if you’ve tried it yet but I feel like you would love the speed channel prysma pro. It removes the handle bias and it is basically just neutral with the weight at the tip of the blade and ends of the handles. It fans great and I love the shit out of mine
It seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the new Machinewise trainer blade *much* more. Then again, I never actually liked the old one 😅
@@_Nathan- really? I’ve been on the edge of buying them for mine for the past like 6 months 😅I’ve been successfully restraining myself but you’ve given me the green light 🤣
Before this vid I got an ad for shaving a bald head, truly the baldebias experience
LMAO
Rambling is great, thank you!
Thank you!

I just watched the full video and im realizing maybe that was the whole idea in the first place 🥴
@bigcurt09 That is the point, but why scratch the old platform for a new platform that brings the same challenges that the old platform does?
A question I'd like to see answered aswell
I’m waiting for the next version from Machine Wise. Tortellini. 😅
I wasn’t planning on buying one of these but I might have to now

Never managed to get a prysma pro, sasori is mighty tempting

when I first heard felt the sasori I knew I had tto buy it
slayed👑
I’m getting cheap Amazon balisong vibes from that Trainer blade. It’s like Machinewise went backwards as far as aesthetic goes. RIP Prysma.
Yeah, the blade is not good. Handles are nothing special. Overall, meh design
While I will say I am not in love with the design I definitely feel like you gotta let it grow on you first.

@@edgelord3617 I said “from the trainer blade“ the handles are just fine. Just because you don’t agree with my opinion, doesn’t mean it’s “sad.”
But the ugly bulging prysma blade looks good? lol
I really want a tottori!

Definitely wanna pick these up when they drop, finally join the Machinewise bandwagon!
They dropped
@@lucastravis6962 Yeah they are soon!
Get on here I saved you a seat
@@BladeBias It is on its way… 😈

He’s tried it, almost traded with a friend but he said the sc version felt too similar to the slifT for his collection, but enjoyed it a lot
Yeah I get that. It does feel a lot like a slift
That was the speed channel prysma v1, I tried the prysma pro at blade show and found it good but underwhelming
Do you prefer the standard prysma pro? I haven’t tried a normal one so I’m just curious
@@appalachiantails4no that was the Prysma v1 not the Prysma pro

Fair enough, I'll always stick with the prysma blade personally
With the name of an akatsuki villain, I'd have expected something way cooler looking
You still love the tottori tho right? I really don’t like the new trainer blade 🫤
I do love the Tottori
Are the Sosori handles the same length as the Kraken handles?
History repeats itself 💀💀💀
Real.
getting one though? looked at site...and... theyre gone :p edit: theyre pre-pro. fair enough
They haven't dropped yet officially
They dropped today hopefully you were quick!
Doesn’t sound as great as the prysma pro
I was actually thinking the opposite 😅 Prysma pro sounds harsh sometimes, I should add that I’m hyper sensitive to rings and high pitched clacks
@@Zoinks3245zippy inserts make it really clacky and awesome

@@Zoinks3245 😂 they are sooo worth it. And the speed channel inserts if your pro has them
If you're talking about the actual sound of the bali I heavily disagree
hmmmmm
