Hello prim friends! My name is Gabriella Moir and welcome to our channel The Cape on the Corner at Tweedthistle Farms, where we love to explore antique shops and homes that are filled with history in early American antiques and primitives that also go well in farmhouse decor and decorating. We are sharing the building process too as we build our forever home, a Cape Cod style home on our 5+ acres in Ohio where we also have a specialty cut flower farm. Follow along as we share daily life of starting seeds and planting seedlings for the cutting garden, establish new landscaping near our home to try to give it that early look and feel. In the growing season we'll be starting a kitchen herb garden and so much more. Keep watching!

My Great-Grandmother, Mammaw, would string beans like this. She hung them behind her wood stove to dry. She called them Fodder Beans. They're absolutely delicious! I have memories of sitting on her porch stringing beans. And better memories of eating them!

Oh my gosh this laundry room was perfect. I just loved it. Her and her husband have done a beautiful job putting this having together, decorating it and adding the room addition, I could not believe how beautiful every inch of this cabin looked. I’m ready to move in.
Love the table for two and how it’s perfect and how she covered the windows. Every part of this looks like it’s right out of 16th century America perfectly put together.
So many beautiful, antiques, and reproductions everywhere and every inch of this home I just loved it so much I can only imagine how many years she took collecting all those beautiful basket and everything in this beautiful home. Everything is put together with such love and care. Not to look clutter, but look so beautifully organized.

Well that was my fault for listening to the GPS. Go into the town and THEN do the GPS. Quick easy drive on real roads.

Oh my goodness what a wonderful video! This brought back some special memories, as a child in Southern West Virginia I helped my Grandmother sting Leather Britches. Oh and how awesome they tasted with her cornbread.

Sorry, but we don't know where to purchase. Bonnie bought it from a shop that was using it as a curtain to screen an area.
