This song is from his "Mono" mixtape which is very "pensive" (to use the words of @ShashoShasta) and its songs are mainly low-fi. His next project, the album "Indigo," is a reflection of his thoughts & feelings during his late 20s. And, for me, his latest album "Right Place Wrong Person" is a sonic masterpiece. It was completed right before he went into the military (released just months ago during his enlistment) and boy oh boy, he had a lot to say! Enjoy the ride!

The man is an amazing talent, a genius lyricist and musician. I love every single one of his songs, especially, Joke, Do You, Moonchild, Forever Rain, Still Life, Lost, Heaven, Come Back To Me, Domodachi, Nuts, and Groin. Hope you will check all these out, he is freaking amazing! 💜💜

I think his live with paul blanco was awesome.i can watch that everyday.i really love when his low voice appeared...like his song wth JK ...& new song neva play...but he really does an amazing live...all bts member do better live then mv
Ho Teej! Seoul is indeed relaxing and relatable, we kinda all feel the same of our home city. As a poet myself (never mentioned before cuz I write mostly in French), I appreciate Joon artistry, his imagery and play on words (even if my style is more straighforward and raw like Yoongi, but I do use a lots of play on words tho) And I love the visual of the mv, love the journey trough the landscape which ends like a mirage or a dream, very pertinent. About your Yoongi summary: one of my fav is also So far away, although not for the same reasons. For me, it was a kick in the butt that woke me up from a long slump. It made me cry a lot. ... I could talk about Yoongi works for ages (my bias with Jin) but I stop here cuz it's your Namjoon journey now!!! Talking about city, really like Tokyo by RM too ^^
Teej, you need to listen to So Far Away with Suga, Jin and Junkook .. you will get a totally different vibe from that one .. the synergy between BTS' members is phenomenal .. I'm not disputing that original with Suran is good but taking your words, for impact of the song with 3 of them is on another level .. you should listen to it👍
My favorite thing about RM's music is that he paints with words. He's sometimes called the poet who raps and I think it describes him so well. While Yoongi's music feels so raw and in your face which is something I love about it, but RM is definitely someone with beautiful lyrics and hit hard everytime 💜 If you want a similar vibe to Seoul I think you should react to Wildflower by RM and if something different then maybe Groin or Nuts by him as your next reaction.

Enjoyed hearing your thoughts throughout ‘Seoul’ and I often think that he may have written this at that time (in the beginning of BTS) since he moved to Seoul and had to think and it was his new home away from home. i dont know if you have the time for that but it would be amazing if you could reacts to his whole latest album, in my opinion its his greatest body of work - he was honest in the other albums but here he just let it all go, and also the style he went for is so fricking good the mv for lost won and was nominated for a lot of international awards wchich is amazing cause bts was never recognized in placees like that and the minimoni exchange of albums is also worth watching it was done for rm's and jimin's album and it just gives a lot of perspectiv e how rm felt creating the album and his headspace

Mono is my favorite album from RM. One of my favorite songs, on this album.
Now awake at 2:30a, my 18+ yr old doxie having a panic attack being the cause. Coming across one of my fave songs lulls me to back to sleep… 💜
