Jin is not narcissistic! His sense of humour is not for everyone! He is very sweet, kind, well mannered and talented. He has the golden ratio but is really clueless. He jokes about being WWH but it’s cos fans always comment that he is very handsome n the nickname was given by himself since everyone calls him that! He uses this nickname cos it makes the members laugh and lightens the mood during interviews cos he knows they are stressed. He always lets his younger brothers shine until people always sleep on him.
THIS, YES I think a lot of people misunderstand him He never calls himself The most handsome man in the world, just WWH He even said it in an interview, "there are a lot of handsome people, but it doesn't mean I'm not handsome" Also, opposite of a narcissist, he is actually really shy He just puts on a persona to make everyone happy, such an angel he is
I can understand why a lot of new ARMY think this though. Every single BTS "guide" puts most of the emphasis on the "World Wide Handsome" aspect of his personality. When I first discovered BTS I thought he was arrogant and conceited because of all this emphasis. I now know that that is such a small fraction of Jin. He is probably the most insecure of the members, would do anything for any of them and shows his love in hundreds of caring ways. His voice is incredible, he works unbelievably hard on his dance (and even though he feels he is lacking, he could out-dance 90% of the planet), he is athletic and kind. I wish he (and all the BTS guides) would focus on these aspects of Jin.
If you love their music and you love them, you're ARMY💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I enjoyed your reaction very much. You notice a lot of things, I was impressed. The only thing I think you read wrong, was that Suga's parents did not initially support his dream to become a rapper. At one of their concerts, Suga knew his parents were there and was looking for them. When he saw them, he started crying and went down to the ground, I think to bow. It was really emotional, and Jimin came to comfort him. Anyway, have subscribed yesterday. Keep going down the BTS rabbit hole. Jin's birthday is next on Dec 4th. Some reactors do a birthday week and pick songs/ performances of that member to react to. There are even compilations of each members different characteristics, how they interact with the members, etc. Good luck💜💜💜
BTS is soooo special !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to their Sweet, Humble, (so) Funny, Cute, Lovely, Talented, Versatile, Entertaining, Eargasmic, Eyegasmic, Sweating, Inspiring, Captivating, Touching, Life Changing, and ..., Unbelievably Huuuuuge rabbit hole !!!! It must be a gift from our Universe !!!! Cheers from from France !!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Welcome between ARMY! There must be something magic about them, because they bring joy, happiness, a good vibe and a lot of pride of being their fan! No matter of age, gender, nationality or anything else that can divide us, their music and their entertaining shows, bring us together! And we can always have something to learn from them! What is the meaningful thing that made me a big fan, it was that I discovered that they, just like me, believe that loving yourself is very important, when you are ok with yourself, you can discover the beauty around you. They are not only very talented and hard working, they are also kind to everybody, humble, polite and so, so funny! Unlike most other artists, they would give all for ARMY, they are very grateful to their fans and before they went to military service, all of the members prepared a lot of new songs, shows and messages that they were released in these almost two years when they were missing, just for ARMY never feel alone without them! 💜🇹🇩
I’d say 30-40% of army are now men. At one of their last concerts BTS V made a point to call out the men and the group seemed surprised to see so many men. I saw them live in 2019 and even then there were more than I expected 💜💜
I think more women watch reactors which is why the stats show more women. It would be intro compare Spotify stream demographics in comparison. Definitely more men here than in SK. And ARMY are older now with many “ARMY husbands” turning into real fans.
Your thoughts on idol groups are actually very correct. BTS is an anomaly in that they were given so much creative freedom from the start. They do/did work like crazy, but because they wanted to.
Notes as I watch: 2:36 Actually, the count is well over 1400 now. They are now the most awarded musical artists in the history of the world. 3:50 You make a fine point my friend. We all said the same things. BTS bring in as much money as Samsung does and as much as the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics did to S Korea, and at least as much or more prestige and political soft power. They are a national treasure. S Korea out them on their stamps, a first for living artists. And yes, Olympians get a pass, really rich people's kids get a pass, even E-Sports athletes get a pass. But! (and it's a big but 🍑) ~ IF ~ BTS had taken an exemption from the government, had they offered one, the government would have owned them forever and used the weight of that debt to pressure them into whatever they wanted, using them as political tools, plus BTS would have been ruthlessly attacked by haters in SK for "shirking their duty" and suffered the social stigma of not sharing this national experience of pretty much all SK men. BTS doesn't have the connections to power to protect them. ARMY is their shield. They would have been the first Idol exemptions and haters are always looking for any chink in their armor to attack them. The government was already dangling the question of exemptions and then had pressured BTS into doing the Busan free concert as part of Busan's bid to win the hosting of the World Expo, and making BTS foot the bill for the whole thing, by pressuring Jimin and Jungkook's families (because both of them are from Busan) and making the guys feel socially pressured to protect their families. So they performed several 🖕type songs to the government at the Busan show, and then immediately after the show announced that they were all enlisting. It's never happened before that a disparate age Idol group enlists all at the same time, including the younger members who had years left before they had to serve and who were all in the charts from recent album drops. They all went more or less together, so they could get back together and get back to work. Jin and j-hope are back now, and the others all return next summer, having served with honors and without the weight of obligation and pressure from corrupt officials. 6:30 Yes. Mr. Bang wanted real boys with authentic identities and speaking their real truth in their art. He prized their honest artistic voice and their mental health above all. He has a degree in psychology, and he was always looking out for their mental wellbeing. He even encouraged them to date because he said they can't write what they don't know, and they were writing their music. But any dating has been incredibly discreetly done because nothing about it has leaked ever. BTS were the only group at their tiny company, which was basically just some producers in an office suite in a crappy little building when they signed the BTS members. BTS and Mr. Bang built it from the ground up to now be the largest music entertainment company in S Korea, and BTS members are collectively the 5th largest shareholders in the company now, as Mr. Bang gifted them all stock when they came of age. It really is their company. How did they blow up?? - UA-cam/The internet. Their company lacked funds and connections for advertising and promotion, so they took to socials. Yes, they are opposite of industry plants, EXACLTY! Then are fan built. This is why they continually face attacks from the industry, both at home in S Korea and globally, still. They were broke, misfit, upstart underdogs who dared to climb higher than all the well connected, company rich, propped up artists. They are juggernauts of talent and hard work and good will and persistence, who offer a counter narrative to the industry's blueprint for success. They bypassed the industry and the power players, and they NEVER played their dirty games, refusing to be bought or bribed or to grease any palms themselves to make their rise easier. Instead, they speak truth to power, in their music and their speech, calling out bad behavior and practices, maintaining their integrity and angering those in power. Even when they were broke nobodies, they were courageous with their voices. 7:10 How old are they - j-hope was 16, RM was 15 and Suga was 17 when they were signed by Big Hit in 2010. Jin was 18, Jungkook was 13 (a literal baby) and V/Taehyung was 15 when they were signed by Bit Hit in 2011. Jimin was 16 when he was signed by Big Hit in 2012. At the time of their debut on June 13, 2013, their ages were RM: 18, Jin: 20, Suga: 20, j-hope: 19, Jimin: 17, V: 17 and Jungkook: 15. The early vlogs they are showing here were from 2012 and 2013 so around their debut ages. Be aware that this video uses Korean Age not Global Age. Until last year, S Korea used an age counting system where you were one year at birth and turned 2 at the new year, even if you were born at the end of December and only a few days old, like V. In S Korea you are counted as a year older at the New Year every year, not on your birthday. This is partly because they have social age hierarchy, and they gauge whether to use formal language or manners or what title to call someone by socially, whether they are older, younger or an age mate chingu (friend) based on their birth year. RM and j-hope are age mates, both being born in 1994, and Jimin and V are age mate chingus, both born in 95. So when Jungkook says he joined as a 15 year old in this video, that was his Korean age. In global age, he was 13 and still in middle school. S Korea switched to Global Age counting last year because it was a confusing hindrance for them internationally. 7:50 Yes! Please do! There is a whole world of content for these guys. About 190+ episodes of RUN BTS, plus their travel shows (Bon Voyage, In the Soop and Are You Sure?) and Suga's long form interview show Suchwita, j-hope documentary series on street dance around the world, Hope on the Street, and many other films, documentaries, etc, plus many hundreds of livestreams and vlogs and behind the scenes stuff. You can watch on their app/website Weverse, and on their official YT channels BANGTANTV, Bighit Official and Hybe Labels. BANGTANTV is just BTS. The Big Hit channel also has their newer "little brother" group at Big Hit, TXT, and the Hybe Labels channel also has all the other bands and labels that they bought with BTS money and have now under the HYBE umbrella. HYBE is the house that BTS built - a legal entity company with many smaller labels under it, including Big Hit, BTS label. Plus there is content on Netflix, Amazon and Disney+. 8:20 Yes, they still livestream, although most are still in the military right now and not able to livestream. It's one of the primary ways they communicate with us and stay connected. j-hope was just on live a few days ago from his hotel in L.A. He was working on some secret project he has not revealed yet and was in L.A. for a while. He is back in S Korea now. Part two below....
Part Two 14:40 Read that again. It was AGAINST his parents approval. They DID NOT approve. In fact, they had horrible, bitter fights about it. His family was poor and wanted him working to support the family. He moved to Seoul alone, far from his hometown, while still in high school and was crashing in a shared artists' apartment with some other broke artists before he got signed to Big Hit. His parents did not support him while he was a trainee or in the early years of BTS after their debut. His parents did not come to a show of his for years. In 2016 they finally came. This is a clip of him finding his parents in the crowd at that show and giving them a formal bow in thanks for them accepting and supporting his music career finally and then breaking down sobbing. That's Jimin, BTS comforter in chief, by his side as he sobs. ua-cam.com/users/shortstmM7JhVIXuY All the rap line of BTS (RM, Suga and j-hope) had parents opposed to their musical aspirations and who fought with them about it - except for j-hope's mom. His dad was opposed but his mom worked her ass off with multiple jobs to support his dance lessons and always supported his musical aspirations and was proud of him. He wrote her a beautiful song called MAMA to thank her for always supporting him. The vocalists all had families that were supportive of their music. 15:40 NO actually. LOL He is the shortest member of BTS. But he is a great baller anyway. 22:26 VLive is a S Korean platform that does not exist anymore. The platform Big Hit created for BTS so that they would not be mistreated, Weverse, swallowed it whole. Now a ton of other artists and Idols are also on Weverse. Even western ones. Megan Thee Stallion, who is a great friend of BTS, just joined Weverse recently. 25:54 Yes, all of them are fashion icons. They all are global ambassadors for major brands that fit their personal style/ethos. As literally the biggest artists in the world, their power is massive. They are basically the star reps of each of the brands, drawing massive crowds to any event they attend and being personally escorted by designers and CEOs. A CEO in the luxury brand business said if you can sign BTS or a member of BTS, you will be made a CEO. If you lose them as reps, you are fired. The two members who lean fashion the hardest and have very unique styles are j-hope and V. j-hope favors modern hip hop and street styles and V favors retro looks of various eras as well as avant-garde modern looks. Their brands RM - Bottega Vaneta (their first and only ever brand ambassador) Jin - Gucci & Fred Jewelry Suga - Valentino and the NBA (NBA's first and only global brand ambassador) j-hope - Louis Vuitton Jimin - Dior & Tiffany Jewelry V - Celine & Cartier Jewelry Jungkook - Calvin Klein 26:40 There is indeed a supernatural mystery storyline that runs through their work called the Bangtan Universe, or the BU. In the story, each of the guys plays a fictional character of the same name as themselves. They are a group of brothers/chosen family dealing with some very heavy themes. The clues for the story are released slowly in multi-media content for us to find and put together, including song lyrics, album notes, MV visuals, books, webtoons, their mobile game BTS World, short films and more. There is even a KDrama based on the BU now, called Youth: Begins. 31:40 Yes indeed, he did the FIFA World Cup song, Dreamers, in 2022. Unlike most performers who do the World Cup songs, he wrote it himself. Welcome to ARMY. Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That warm, fuzzy feeling belongs to you now. You have so much to look forward to. Take your time. Don't burn out trying to keep up with comments, demands, etc. This is your journey. We are privileged that you are sharing it with us. 💜✌️
You are one of the very few reactors who is the complete package ! Truly interested, excited, attentive, sensitive and understanding everything ,... Really refreshing to watch! Subscribed ! 🫰🏻💜
There was a debate for so long on whether the members would be exempt from military. The members themselves finally said that they were going, IMO it was to put an end to the back and forth. The government really strung them along as long as they could and by going they ended the criticism that would’ve come from the people that said they were using their fame to get out of it. Two members have finished serving their time, the rest will be finished in the first half of 2025 and the group will reunite after that. They’ve been putting out solo projects while they’ve been apart but they really supported each other through that and have every intention of reuniting. 💜 welcome to the rabbit hole, they are amazing (especially live performances) You seem so genuine and sweet, I have to subscribe already. I hope the rest of the BTS ARMY finds you! Please ignore any toxic ones. The fandom is estimated to be 90million strong, so even the small toxic portion seems big and they are always the loudest. Most of us believe in what BTS stands for which is positivity and being true to yourself.
You're right, the "idol industry" in Korea is also very hard, very controlled... BTS fought for their own path and still remained themselves. It was really fun watching you. And don't worry, a lot of army are men 😅 they're just not that „loud“ here
That's funny, I'm from Germany too. To be honest, the many female fans put me off for a long time. Although I am a woman (44) myself, I have always felt more comfortable in men's groups. Only recently did I realize how many male fans there are and dare to join in 💜
A few Notes. Suga is now one of the Brand Ambassadors for the NBA. Front row seats no matter what game he goes to. Suga has an interview show called "Suchwita." He interviews all the members. It's a great way to get to know them. Of course Suga interviews other famous stars and people from South Korea, too. He interviews RM first. A temporary set to see if upper mgmt wanted to make a Go of the show. It was a Go. They provided him with a great new set for his own interview show. Watch the members in order he interviews them. Otherwise you'll hear spoilers. He interviews JK twice. Once before his "Golden" album. Then 1 after to talk about his album. Don't miss the extra video of JK singing Karaoke that Suga provided for him on his first interview.
Honestly, I think that BTS is not just a band of boys or 7 different characters... I think that they are a phenomenon...some people who knew how to reach our souls, through their music, through their lyrics, by their wonderful personalities...they are humble by the nature of their culture, they aretruly a powerhouse in the world of music and beyond…jungkook said he would follow RM, anywhere, he would be the leader... and I would follow him if he were to rule the world... he would have my vote anytime!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
THANK YOU!!! You're the first and only reactor I've seen (and I've seen a lot) that gave credit to Yoongi's parents for doing the right thing by showing some resistance. He now acknowledges them as his biggest supporters, but no parent wants their child to struggle, and they were just looking out for him Instant follow from me! Borahae! 💜
BTS are truly so special. I will never get over my love for them!! Each member is so talented and needed in their own rights and it wouldn't have worked if even one was missing. I'm personally a Jimin bias but at this point they all hold such a soft spot in my heart! So excited to see more reactions and for you to fall in love with these beautiful human beings.
All the members are talented, each in his own way, and I have the utmost respect for them, but Park Jimin has a special place in my heart and I adore him to the point of obsession. ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
OI BRO !!! Older Army from Lithuania!! :)It's great that someone is making videos about bts from the Baltic countries :)No, men are definitely more than 9%. Just like there are more older fans than young ones :)
I have just discovered your channel today and I am loving your content. There are a lot of reactors that watch BTS for upping their subs/views but I feel you are 100% genuine and you have definitely Jim'd IN hahaha - don't blame you, he is my bias (with Suga and J-Hope nipping at his heels). I hope your channel continues to grow - I certainly will be watching. Thanks for your heartfelt reaction - BORAHAE 💜
ARMY is an acronym for: Adorable Representative MC For Youth JK was 13 years old (global age) when he started as a trainee at Big Hit. He was 15 when he debuted and already had the great responsibility of being the main vocalist and the focal point of the performances. Watch Jungkook - The Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S to see what a comprehensive and important role he plays for BTS and his brothers. Regarding the military: Other labels have tried to have military service suspended for idols, using BTS as an excuse. BTS has distanced itself from this demand and said that they will all do their duty. After this year's Olympic Games, it was announced that from now on all South Koreans who have achieved similar levels of success as BTS are exempt from military service. This then included all athletes who had won a gold medal in the summer. Borahae 💜
Great review. Thank you for appreciating Jimins incredible talents. I was drawn to BTS because of Jimin unique voice and solo stages. He is very special. Please enjoy the ride! 😊
Correct. More and more men join in. The highly intelligent creative and non judgemental men join in! Those with a heart like you. Not afraid of their emotions. FYI. It's ok to cry when reacting. We all do.
Mer gustan muchas tus reacciones, yo admiro mucho a Jimin, él realmente tiene un talento único, desde que lo escuché y vi bailar la primera vez, quedé cautivada. Saludos
No matter if they had been given a pass to the military, they would have served anyway. They wanted to serve their country. They didn't want to be recognized as special. They are proud citizens of South Korea. They knew since they were very young boys, they would be serving in the military.
💜 You are such a joy to watch! I appreciate your attentiveness and desire to get to know these wonderful people. Not to mention your positive sweet personality! I’m excited to see what’s next! Thank you!!💜
Finally, you saw the guide. Jimin and Jungkook are serving in the military now. There are Jin and J-Hope, who were discharged from the military. This is Jin's period of activities. Jin's new album came out a few days ago. You can listen to Jin's "I'll Be There" and "Running Wild." Oh! V's new song came out today, so don't forget
-they have 1400+ awards now -And if I remember correct they have 32 guinness record -Vlive is a South Korean live video streaming service that allows Korean-based celebrities to broadcast live videos on the internet and live chat with fans from around the world. -Yeah Jungkook sang "Dreamers" in the 2022 world cup :) 💜
A couple of things not included in Taylor's amazing guide: - ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth. (Doesn't sound quite as daunting, right?! 😄) - Because you'll definitely come across them: All members have their own emojis, assigned to them by ARMY, that even the company uses now, for example to indicate who's speaking: 🐨 RM: His favourite animal, calm, collected, slightly clumsy, his BT21 character Koya. 🐹 Jin: Cute, funny, loves to play happily and stuff his cheeks, not afraid to bite though. (Sometimes 🌕 because of his song Moon or 🦙 because of his beloved BT21 character RJ the alpaca) 🐱 Suga: May appear aloof but is actually affectionate, loves his sleep, mostly docile but will scratch you if provoked. 🐿 J-Hope: Always jumping around, joyously energetic, hardworking (sometimes 🌞 because of his sunny disposition) 🐣/🐥 Jimin: Cute softie, loves to give and receive affection, famously the smallest of the group, high-pitched voice. 🐻 V: Deep voice, cuddly soft energy, playful, the song Winter Bear (sometimes 🐯 because of the fierce looks and smooth energy he exudes on stage) 🐰 Jungkook: Cute bunny smile, energetic and strong but very soft, never quits or backs down. - If you like all of them (and it's totally fine to still have a fave/bias and bias wreckers), then you're OT7, meaning One True 7. For example, I'm a Jin-biased OT7 and Suga is my biggest bias wrecker. But tbh, it's probably more like 1 bias and 6 bias wreckers. 😅 Lastly, if I may make some recommendations for two very important videos, you definitely need to watch xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 and Boracity Magazine's How The BTS ARMY Changed Fandom Culture. Most importantly though I hope you have fun on your journey down the rabbit hole that is BTS. They're genuinely amazing guys who make amazing music. ~ from a Danish ARMY, age 49. 💜
We understand your emotional feelings. They have touched our soul and our hearts. They do genuinely care. Because their fans kept growing.... their fame kept growing. Their theme they teach and model is Love Yourself. They have touched so many lives. They have helped heal people with their music. They literally have helped people change their lives. They are not ego driven but humble. They aren't jealous of each other. They do fight like normal people but have a group agreement to talk things out even if it might take days. As to your question, how do they get that all done? Most of those achievements and skills were developed before they were in BTS. It took years for them to accomplish all that. Not just their BTS years. During the pandemic, they attended college online. They had lots of extra time . Also, they work for a professional business that teaches them time management. Also, they work 360 days a year. No days off. No 8 hour days. Longer. No weekends off. They got Christmas off, maybe for 2 years out of 10. They do go on vacation together. Bon Voyage. They had staycations during the pandemic, renting out isolated vacation homes. But they are still working. They get filmed 24 x 7 providing content for the fans. They are not on their own relaxed schedule. They go to interesting places and do interesting tourist things for us to watch and enjoy. And yes, their schedule is relaxed. On 2018 they considered disbanding be ause they were working g so hard. They were brain dead. Burned out. They don't have privacy time. Time to act normal. Go on dates or be with friends. They decided to suffer and not disband because of...the Army. They had helped and inspired so many people not to give up. So they couldn't either. Advice again. Do NOT post 2 reactions a day. I'm repeating it in a comment below. Others have gotten so excited. They want to see it all so fast. And they literally burned out. And had to stop for months. They actually got addicted to posting. Don't do that. Go outside and enjoy nature every day. Soak in the sunshine and elements. Become healthy. You only have 12 years of content to consume. It just takes time. Years of time to watch it all. Keep current with new stuff dropping. And slowly add old stuff. So again. Sincerely, don't burn out like BTS did or other reactors. Don't even post every day. Sample another reactor like Roscoe. He burned out fast. Had to take months off. He does live streams of other groups while BTS are in the military. And catches up slowly with BTS content. He hasn't watched it all yet. Please. We beg you. So, relax. Watch a BTS video from their early days. "Dope". They talk about their work schedule. Welcome. Welcome. Go slow. Take care.
They do lives on Weverse now. Sometimes one member will start, and the others come in and start commenting. There are days my notifications start dinging, and I check…it’s Weverse, and the guys are blowing up the comments. 💜
Welcome! I see you are just starting your BTS journey. Even though I've watched The Guide so many times, I'm watching with you. We Love seeing new people discover BTS! I subscribed!
You seem like a very sweet person! The main way to be an ARMY is to trust and support BTS. I mean obviously you should focus on their music and help build the ARMY community. But protection and support of BTS is #1!
I absolutely love the way you have reacted to BTS and you've made the time to learn about them and their backgrounds. You would love the dance practices. FIRE is one of my favourites. Best wishes from UK ARMY. ❤
A few MVs worth checking out: ON: Kinetic Manifesto; Run BTS from their Yet To Come Busan Concert; Blood, Sweat and Tears ; Black Swan ; Bulletproof Pt. 2; BTS' Butter Performance at the 64th Grammy Awards
They captured my whole heart before I even sought out their songs. Their music just locked me in for life. I think the stats of the fandom in terms of men to women ratio is different now. And there are very new fans who aren't fans of the whole group but are only familiar with their solo work in the last few years.
I think I like you as one of the best reactor for BYS for the little nuances you pick up and for having a genuine appreciation( I think) for all the 7 that makes BTS! Please be a true ARMY💜💜💜
You are a very nice warm person. Loved your reaction. There is lot's to explore. Love to see your journey of learning about BTS, you love it. 💜 A Dutch army 💜
Jin World wide Handsome has just come back from military because he is the oldest and went first he has just made his solo album and the first 2 songs mvs are out please listen at some time they are called I’ll be there and. Running Wild !
What I know being an old Army, most of us are not k pop fans.im only a BTS fan. They far exceed k pop. And I don’t listen to k pop at all. I’m actually a metal head who loves amazing Korean musicians who are all in the same group.
Yes all of the boys is talented But jimin is so special his voice is so unique that you can recognize it even if he singing with 100 other singers He's so captivating
Thank you for your honest reaction... just so you know JK was 13-14 when he joined, Korean age is a bit different.. so he was a real baby! They are all so talented on their own, together they are explosive!! Welcome to teh BTS rabbit hole. I wish I could watch so much of their stuff for the first time again. Enjoy the ride!! Sending love from Vancouver Island Canada 💜 OT7 63 yr old ARMY!!! ps Once you Jim-in, you can't Jim-out!!! Lololo
There are exemptions from military service for artists, but they are traditionally classical musicians who have competed internationally and won, which begs the question; would a Grammy make a difference? It seems like the faction of government officials who opposed their exemption were the same who looked down on K-Pop in general, which means they put their personal tastes above what was best for the country (big red flag). I mean, BTS' contribution to South Korea's GDP has been unprecedented, not to mention their position as diplomats of Korean culture, an official role assigned by the then President (Moon). I'd say they were already serving their country to it's greatest benefit.
An ARMY here..this is my 1st time ever commenting on a BTS reaction video and am crying while watching your reaction. thank you so much for the love and appreciation for Our Beloved BANGTAN🙏💜! And WELCOME TO BANGTAN WORLD💐👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Jimin a boy from Busan who became an incredible artist and an inspiration to many people Around the world he has gained many fans who love him and support him for his beautiful essence as an artist, not to mention his beautiful voice and his incredible way of dancing 💛 Park Jimin better known as the Global It Boy and the king of K-pop. 🔥👑
Since you admire Jimin so much, I will continue following your channel to see the latest updates and reactions about him. Jimin is a musical artist and professional dancer who combines modern dance with a touch of contemporary style. His works are always eagerly awaited by fans and music enthusiasts. Believe me, you will be mesmerized by his incredibly detailed dance movements and unique voice. I also hope you can explore more of Jimin's solo works from the past. As an additional suggestion, please consider adding subtitles to your videos to reach a broader audience. I think you misunderstood Suga's start as a rapper, his parents did not approve or help him, so he had to struggle a lot. When they were quite big his parents eventually attended a concert and when he heard he knelt down on the stage and cried. Jungkook was very young in 2011 when he entered that competition, just 13. His voice was lovely but he was painfully nervous and shy. You might enjoy a behind the scenes video where he went to Qatar to sing, it is quite enlightening.
@@AnduTwo AnduTwo, In the "guide" video, those were the Korean ages. International ages are different than what you often hear BTS say about themselves, and , inexplicably, that American Taylor Mari uses. For example, *Jungkook was 13 years old* international age, when he joined BTS training. I think that South Korea is supposed to be switching to the international system.
Thank you so much for this, what a great reaction. I always say that BTS is 7 pieces making a whole puzzle. I enjoy many of their Solo projects but BTS isn't BTS without all 7 of these incredibly talented, hardworking young men. My kids are in their age range (92 & 96) and now I have 7 more sons 😁💜
The reason why BTS is he biggest boy band in the whole world is because their rise to fame was organic. They started at the bottom, practically with nothing. And despite their huge success, they remained grounded, humble and respectful. That is why they are so loved all over the world. Welcome to the BTS fandom. Enjoy the journey. You had some questions about the Military Service in South Korea. Yes, it is mandatory, and yes, there are exemptions granted to those with exceptional skills like in the field of science, some violinists, pianists, ballet performers, Olympians. BTS never asked for an exemption. They have always wanted to enlist. But because of BTS' success and its contribution to the economy, in 2020, a revision was made to the country's Military Service Act. The new law which is called the BTS Law, allows K-pop stars or entertainers to postpone their military service until they turn 30. So this let Jin, the oldest member who was turning 30 in December 2022 to defer his service. Another interesting information since you mentioned that the mebers are fashion icon, they all are. First, the group itself became Louis Vuitton House Ambassador in 2021. Then after that, the members individually became big fashion house ambassadors: (1) Jimin - Global Brand Ambassador for Christian Dior and Tiffany (2) RM - Botega Venetta Brand Ambassador (3) J-Hope - Louis Vuitton Brand Ambassador (4) V - Celine Brand Ambasador (5) Suga - Valentino and NBA Brand Ambassador (6) Jin - Gucci Brand Ambassador and (7) Jungkook - Calvin Klein Brand Ambassador
Jin is the oldest but really is the most unserious one of the members😂 He’ll go Live and play video games and we don’t even have to watch, we sometimes just listen to all his yelling😂😂😂😂
[3:19] The man in grey announcing their price here - look his eyes. He reads the winner and looks at certain BTS member giving him a hinting smile - Announcer is Park Seo-joon very famous korean actor. And he is BTS's second youngest's personal friend. And when he announced the winned and the camera turns to BTS the very same second youngest, (we call him Tae, but his stage name is V,) with his ruffled shirt bursting out of his jacket, is looking like he was first on his feet because he got the hint from his friend even before BTS's name was called. ;D You will see the same actor twice more in this documentary. Second time acting a scene with Tae in Tae's debut acting drama, and right after in main role of TV-series where Tae sang the main theme. ;D 💜 Love from Finland to you
i really loved ur reaction! u seem so sweet. you asked where you can watch some of their reality shows, they have their own reality show called ''run bts''. Episode 131-132 are one of my fav episodes so if ur interested i deff recommend you check those eps out :)
BTS members could’ve chosen not to serve the military because of their cultural award. But they all decided to go and serve their country. 💜💜💜💜🇧🇷 They we’re really young when they started at 2013. Their age ranged from 15 to 20. Their music spread trough hard work from them and ARMY. ARMY played their songs , MVS as radios and entertainment industry did not support them. I am an ARMY from Brazil, 59 y-old , since 2018. Although I knew of them earlier. Thank you for the reaction.
Check out Suga's (AgustD) song Amygdala. When you mention how brave he is to write about his mental health struggles this really hits home. Its cinematic and intense.
Welcome to BTS ARMY! When you decide you like/love BTS, yiu can consider yourself ARMY. Btw there are many male ARMY. You may not see them as much as females but there are plenty of them . I am female "Older ARMY" (in my 50s). My daughter introduced me to their music etc. 8 yrs ago. She wanted me to just learn their names and recognize who is who so she could talk to me about them. I fell down the BTS rabbit hole 8 yrs ago and I am never coming out. Borahae ARMY!
Welcome to the ranks, brother. :) In a world filled with shit it's amazing to find one isle of goodness and positivism, isn't it? BTS is not only a band, or an artist.. they are a community mission. :) Enjoy the ride. No matter why you started it, I'm happy you are here.
WELL WELCOME TO BTS ARMY, YOU SHALL BE BABY ARMY FOR NOW AND AS THE YEARS GO BY AND YOU LEARN MORE AND MORE AND MORE ABOUT BTS YOU'LL BE AN AMAZING ARMY. 72 YEAR OLD ARMY HERE. BORAHAED 💜💜💜
@4:14…….them joining their Military became a huge thing. Finally BTS said “FORGET IT.we always wanted to DO OUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY…….AND WILL”. So said. So done. Their company BigHit/ Hybe realized………our boys have SO MUCH MATERIAL TO SHARE WITH ‘new fans’……aka BABY ARMY? From 2013 to now? Lolz…………..taking a 2yr break means NOTHING. 😂
7:11 they were 15-20 years old in international age when they debuted, one thing to remember is when they say their ages most of them time they use korean age and then you have to subtract 1 or 2 years to get their international age at the time
Actually they dont have to go Military, but they want too coz they very humble..they dont to feel unfair toward other. By the way welcome to Army group 💜
THIS, YES
I think a lot of people misunderstand him
He never calls himself The most handsome man in the world, just WWH
He even said it in an interview, "there are a lot of handsome people, but it doesn't mean I'm not handsome"
Also, opposite of a narcissist, he is actually really shy
He just puts on a persona to make everyone happy, such an angel he is
@@alondranguyen6928You are Right!! He is just wanna be happy 💜 and make people around him fell happy too😊🫰
I can understand why a lot of new ARMY think this though.
I might be a ARMY member now! I really like all of them already!
Please watch jungkook solo song "standing next to you official MV .
Welcome😊🎉
Notes as I watch:
2:36
Actually, the count is well over 1400 now. They are now the most awarded musical artists in the history of the world.
3:50
You make a fine point my friend.
But! (and it's a big but 🍑)
~ IF ~ BTS had taken an exemption from the government, had they offered one, the government would have owned them forever and used the weight of that debt to pressure them into whatever they wanted, using them as political tools, plus BTS would have been ruthlessly attacked by haters in SK for "shirking their duty" and suffered the social stigma of not sharing this national experience of pretty much all SK men.

Yes.
7:10
How old are they -
j-hope was 16, RM was 15 and Suga was 17 when they were signed by Big Hit in 2010.
7:50
Yes!
8:20
Yes, they still livestream, although most are still in the military right now and not able to livestream. It's one of the primary ways they communicate with us and stay connected. j-hope was just on live a few days ago from his hotel in L.A. He was working on some secret project he has not revealed yet and was in L.A. for a while. He is back in S Korea now.
Part two below....
Part Two

Read that again. That's Jimin, BTS comforter in chief, by his side as he sobs.
ua-cam.com/users/shortstmM7JhVIXuY
All the rap line of BTS (RM, Suga and j-hope) had parents opposed to their musical aspirations and who fought with them about it - except for j-hope's mom. His dad was opposed but his mom worked her ass off with multiple jobs to support his dance lessons and always supported his musical aspirations and was proud of him. He wrote her a beautiful song called MAMA to thank her for always supporting him. The vocalists all had families that were supportive of their music.
15:40
NO actually. LOL He is the shortest member of BTS. But he is a great baller anyway.
22:26
VLive is a S Korean platform that does not exist anymore. The platform Big Hit created for BTS so that they would not be mistreated, Weverse, swallowed it whole. Now a ton of other artists and Idols are also on Weverse. Even western ones. Megan Thee Stallion, who is a great friend of BTS, just joined Weverse recently.
25:54
Yes, all of them are fashion icons.
Their brands
RM - Bottega Vaneta (their first and only ever brand ambassador)
Jin - Gucci & Fred Jewelry
Suga - Valentino and the NBA (NBA's first and only global brand ambassador)
j-hope - Louis Vuitton
Jimin - Dior & Tiffany Jewelry
V - Celine & Cartier Jewelry
Jungkook - Calvin Klein

There is indeed a supernatural mystery storyline that runs through their work called the Bangtan Universe, or the BU.
31:40
Yes indeed, he did the FIFA World Cup song, Dreamers, in 2022. Unlike most performers who do the World Cup songs, he wrote it himself.
Welcome to ARMY. Borahae!
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@NanciBKWow, that's everything I thought but was too lazy to write 😅 and so much more.
Thank you for your work 💜
Dear Army sister, thank you so much for this very elaborate, informative and well written summary. Borahae - ApoBangpo
Excellent BTS info for him to digest. Bravo! Applause! How nice of you!
Thanks dear @@NanciBKThank you for your hardwork 💜
Thanks for watching this and Jimin's voice is an angel but his dancing can be different like he can be elegant or sexy
Hi!! To date they have more than 1400 awards!!!
💜 welcome to the rabbit hole, they are amazing (especially live performances)
You seem so genuine and sweet, I have to subscribe already. I hope the rest of the BTS ARMY finds you! Please ignore any toxic ones. The fandom is estimated to be 90million strong, so even the small toxic portion seems big and they are always the loudest. Most of us believe in what BTS stands for which is positivity and being true to yourself.
Discovering BTS Is the best thing that has happened to me, their music makes me happy i army 53 years old and i love them.
You're right, the "idol industry" in Korea is also very hard, very controlled... BTS fought for their own path and still remained themselves.
It was really fun watching you. And don't worry, a lot of army are men 😅 they're just not that „loud“ here
Hallo, yes. Here are a lot of male army's. I'm a 62 year male army from Germany!
BTS found me 2019!
Greets from Germany. 💜💜
Thanks for liking JIMIN’s unique voice .. All are very talented looking forward to your other reactions
Thank you for the reaction, BTS saved me . I'm a granny army and so proud of the boys. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 BORAHAE baby army.
2:37
fun fact: they have over 1000 award rn making them the most awarded artist in history
Yes you are right jungkook is the one who sang the fifa world cup song dreamers . He also sang in the opening ceremony live
He now acknowledges them as his biggest supporters, but no parent wants their child to struggle, and they were just looking out for him
Instant follow from me!
Borahae! 💜
BTS are truly so special. I will never get over my love for them!! Each member is so talented and needed in their own rights and it wouldn't have worked if even one was missing. I'm personally a Jimin bias but at this point they all hold such a soft spot in my heart! So excited to see more reactions and for you to fall in love with these beautiful human beings.
im an army my ultimate bias is jimin he is the one first i noticed his voice omg it heals everything ❤
Welcome to BTS ARMY, you are so sweet person, thanks for your reactions to OUR Boys, AND for your love AND respect, Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That Jim'd IN joke will always be funny :D :D
ARMY is an acronym for: Adorable Representative MC For Youth
JK was 13 years old (global age) when he started as a trainee at Big Hit.
Borahae 💜
Please react to Jimin's serendipity live at Wembley and lie live
Great review. Thank you for appreciating Jimins incredible talents. I was drawn to BTS because of Jimin unique voice and solo stages. He is very special. Please enjoy the ride! 😊
NOW IT'S ABOUT 30 TO 40% MEN.
Correct. More and more men join in. The highly intelligent creative and non judgemental men join in! Those with a heart like you. Not afraid of their emotions. FYI. It's ok to cry when reacting. We all do.
Yes, JK opened the World Cup. Dreamers is a wonderful song, MV and the live performance
BTS were always a part of the musical and creative process in making their music.
Mer gustan muchas tus reacciones, yo admiro mucho a Jimin, él realmente tiene un talento único, desde que lo escuché y vi bailar la primera vez, quedé cautivada. Saludos
Bts indeed is family
No matter if they had been given a pass to the military, they would have served anyway. They wanted to serve their country. They didn't want
to be recognized as special.
They are proud citizens of South Korea. They knew since they were very young boys, they would be serving in the military.
💜 You are such a joy to watch! I appreciate your attentiveness and desire to get to know these wonderful people. Not to mention your positive sweet personality! I’m excited to see what’s next! Thank you!!💜
53 and in love with these 7 men like they were my own sons! They deserve the entire world! 🫶🫶🫶💜💜💜
-they have 1400+ awards now
-And if I remember correct they have 32 guinness record
-Vlive is a South Korean live video streaming service that allows Korean-based celebrities to broadcast live videos on the internet and live chat with fans from around the world.
-Yeah Jungkook sang "Dreamers" in the 2022 world cup :)
💜
A couple of things not included in Taylor's amazing guide:
- ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth. (Doesn't sound quite as daunting, right?! 😄)
- Because you'll definitely come across them: All members have their own emojis, assigned to them by ARMY, that even the company uses now, for example to indicate who's speaking:
🐨 RM: His favourite animal, calm, collected, slightly clumsy, his BT21 character Koya.
🐹 Jin: Cute, funny, loves to play happily and stuff his cheeks, not afraid to bite though. (Sometimes 🌕 because of his song Moon or 🦙 because of his beloved BT21 character RJ the alpaca)
🐱 Suga: May appear aloof but is actually affectionate, loves his sleep, mostly docile but will scratch you if provoked.
🐿 J-Hope: Always jumping around, joyously energetic, hardworking (sometimes 🌞 because of his sunny disposition)
🐣/🐥 Jimin: Cute softie, loves to give and receive affection, famously the smallest of the group, high-pitched voice.
🐻 V: Deep voice, cuddly soft energy, playful, the song Winter Bear (sometimes 🐯 because of the fierce looks and smooth energy he exudes on stage)
🐰 Jungkook: Cute bunny smile, energetic and strong but very soft, never quits or backs down.
Lastly, if I may make some recommendations for two very important videos, you definitely need to watch xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 and Boracity Magazine's How The BTS ARMY Changed Fandom Culture.
Most importantly though I hope you have fun on your journey down the rabbit hole that is BTS. They're genuinely amazing guys who make amazing music.
~ from a Danish ARMY, age 49. 💜
Jimin is special🥹
Gracias💛
Jimin is super special 💜
Welcome! I see you are just starting your BTS journey. Even though I've watched The Guide so many times, I'm watching with you. We Love seeing new people discover BTS! I subscribed!
I'm clear across the world from you. Chicago, IL!

Thank you for appreciate Jimin's unique voice
You feel in your heart when you are an army!
You seem like a very sweet person! The main way to be an ARMY is to trust and support BTS. I mean obviously you should focus on their music and help build the ARMY community. But protection and support of BTS is #1!
I love them all but Jimin is my bias for a Big reason
It has been said that you find BTS when you need them most. This was true for me in 2018, and I have been ARMY ever since then. Welcome!💜
Jhope and Jimin are the MAIN dancers of bts 😊
King 👑 Jimin
Thank you for liking Jimin's unique Voice he is the best ❤❤
You seem like a genuine person like our 7 Kings! Thank you for your reaction, Borahae! 💜💜💜
💜💜
I absolutely love the way you have reacted to BTS and you've made the time to learn about them and their backgrounds. You would love the dance practices. FIRE is one of my favourites. Best wishes from UK ARMY. ❤
Thank you for giving her credit! Many watch and don't credit. She and thise helping dis a great job. Love yiur genuine reaction.
I'm really happy you said that all seven of them complete the group. Solo stans shall not pass!
sending love from brazil
Yes all of the boys is talented
But jimin is so special his voice is so unique that you can recognize it even if he singing with 100 other singers
He's so captivating

Hi, liked your reaction! Here a 61 years old Mexican army and I do really love this 7 guys! 💜💜💜🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽💜💜💜
Now they have over 1400 Awards 🏆💜
wow!
Subscribed!!!💜 Thank you for your interest for BTS, you are very open minded person. I’m sure will enjoy your channel in the future👍🏻
He reads the winner and looks at certain BTS member giving him a hinting smile -
Announcer is Park Seo-joon very famous korean actor. And he is BTS's second youngest's personal friend.
And when he announced the winned and the camera turns to BTS the very same second youngest, (we call him Tae, but his stage name is V,) with his ruffled shirt bursting out of his jacket, is looking like he was first on his feet because he got the hint from his friend even before BTS's name was called. ;D
You will see the same actor twice more in this documentary. Second time acting a scene with Tae in Tae's debut acting drama, and right after in main role of TV-series where Tae sang the main theme. ;D
💜
Love from Finland to you
Thankyou ! Great reaction ! Subscribed !!
I loved your reaction
Such a beautiful person u are for actually paying attention to them God bless you 💜💜💜💜
i really loved ur reaction! u seem so sweet. you asked where you can watch some of their reality shows, they have their own reality show called ''run bts''. Episode 131-132 are one of my fav episodes so if ur interested i deff recommend you check those eps out :)
Welcome. So exciting to see a sincere person discover them!
I love your reaction 💜💜💜
That was a just about perfect reaction
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Welcome to BangtanWorld 😊^^
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for your beautiful and sincere reactions. Greets from Germany. 💜

I love tove your reaction, thank you. BTS Is amazing
I SEEN IT MANY TIMES, BUT, HAPPY TO SEE IT WITH YOU.
Amazing rxn hope to see more bts borahea 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
7:11 they were 15-20 years old in international age when they debuted, one thing to remember is when they say their ages most of them time they use korean age and then you have to subtract 1 or 2 years to get their international age at the time
Welcome. We purple you. We are all ages and nationalities. BTS is the good this world needs. 💜🇺🇸💜
Actually they dont have to go Military, but they want too coz they very humble..they dont to feel unfair toward other. By the way welcome to Army group 💜
