  • The Somersault by Caroline Guitar Company was a pedal I had my eye on for a while! Somersault is a lo-fi modulator pedal that creates some really cool sounds on harp -- I hope you enjoy my Somersault demo!

    Every pedal you play is just top notch. I like how you don't go for any basic stuff. I don't really know what I'd do with that pedal but it does sound pretty neat.

    If I may, there is a music called "City of flickering destruction", from a ps1 game called "Legend of Mana". I think it would sound AMAZING om harp...

      I think it has to do with the fact that other instruments are supposed to keep their arm fairly immobile and just move the hands.

    95% of it (excluding slightly jarring parts where you're just playing around and showing how extreme the effects can get) was so relaxing and good for decompressing, but the song that began at 5:56 took my heart by the hand and gently walked it up and down some hills

      Thank you SO much!! I had a lot of fun with this pedal :) also I thrifted these jeans and after I brought them home, I found out they’re worth a lot more than I got them for!!! A new staple in my wardrobe 😂

    As unfortunate it is to still live in SC I am at least in contact with the fine folks and Felipe from Caroline Guitar Co. and Dennis at Pro Tone Pedals. As an extended range guitarists and Fractal Convert, these are amazing companies for what I like and enough to explore new realms! Love Caroline Guitar Co. And oh yeah, youre awesome and as a newbie to your channel, thanks for broadening the world of harp to us mere mortals. I really want to get one but am not ballin' enough.     The harp sounded great, but that kalimba sound IMMEDIATELY reminded me of Turquoise Hexagon Sun by Boards of Canada. Love that sound!

    Just ordered one of these :) I was after a pedal that does chorus but allows you to speed rate/vibrato effects by foot :) and then Return to chorus effect :)

    nowdays more and more instruments are getting electric and electro-acoustic versions, a lot more players should fully embrace the world of processing their signal as guitarists are doing it since the 1950s, i'd love to hear these kind of sounds in a full band mix, and on stage!

You literally JUST missed the deadline for my latest collaboration submission! I send out a harp stem and let people do whatever they want with it and I react to it on camera. Definitely keep your eyes open for next time!!!

    The effect on the music around the 6-minute mark sounded almost like something that Deep Sea Diver would do. Love the warped vibrato on that one for sure.

    Maybe a strange question. But I know zero about harp.
    How do you transport a harp from point a. to point b. It looks massive and fragile. Does it go in a huge case? Or does it get taken apart?

    Definitely need to do a sample pack with this particular setup. Do some basic progressions with that lo-fi pitch warble, and I'd be shocked if it didn't grow legs.

      @@emilyharpist I recommend you look into the basics of sample pack creation. I promise, you're talented and smart enough to play the harp like an absolute angel; this will be comparatively very easy. :)

    Cool...the lo-fi modulator adds a rather Koto-esque vibe...the chorus almost has a glass harp effect
