this is by far the BEST cheese making video I have ever seen -nothing left to the imagination and extremely clear instructions -please make a few more cheese videos for different types of chesse!? -many thanks
thank you so much, darkmossie633! I think Nori did an excellent job too. I'm not sure if she makes other kinds of cheeses, but I could check in with her at a later date. And thanks for watching!
I really like this lady's presentation .. she explained it so well in such a calm professional way .. that little dish with a goat picture in the end was so cute 🙂
Loved it!This is the only cheesemaking video I found where the curds don't get cut into pieces, but rather moved gently to the cheese cloth.I saw many videos about making traditional italian cheese(I'm italian)and in all of them they cut the curds, however I don't understand why they do it.When you break the curds you'll have a less pure whey and consenquently less cheese.Of course you can make ricotta with the cloudy whey, but you'll have to bring it to a boil and the final product won't be raw
Awesome video. She is so knowledgeable, and there is a purpose and art to every step she takes. She has learned techniques for every method. I also love her delivery. It's like she's reading from a script, but I'm sure she isn't. Very well spoken person. Great work!
Your video was super-helpful for me -- a first timer trying cheese making. As I went through the process, I realized that you have covered all the important points without any distracting frills.
this is what i needed to help me decide if I should own a goat. you made this look easy. I will learn more about this process and care of the goat to see if i should move forward on this idea. I have 11 acres, a barn and am home all day so i think that part of the challenge is already done. thank you so much!!
Wow, I wish I could live on a farm and milk my goat myself rather than buying it from my local super market. eating fresh organic is way better than what you can find in the store.I'm going to be a next superwoman making everything from scratch. I'm so excited. What an interesting lifestyle.
Yes. She is so precice, articulate and knowledgeable. Found a gem in this channel. I'm saving for land to start farming late in life. I'm excited to find this channel. :)
I feel homesick. We had a cow called Imani where I came from but I sold it some years ago. My great nana gave it to me as a gift before she passed. Now I miss her. Say hi to your goats for me :D
I love this video! Nori made it sound so simple. I hope to some day live in a place that I could have a goat or two and make super fresh cheese! I will come back to this vid for reference :)
Wow so happy I found your channel!! I’m going to use this to make some goat cheese! Thank you so much. The process as you were describing the culture sounded magical haha you know your a health nerd when that stuff about live bacteria sounds so amazing ☺️ Thanks again!
I just made this cheese last night and have just put it in the cheescloth. I'm very excited to try it. I made mine with raw goats milk as well. And it looks just like yours at this point!
Thank you for your very informative video. I am very interested in making goat cheese and this was the first video I came across. I am not as scared as I was before I watched your video. :)
Love that you were so science-y all the way through and then said, the salt will "somehow magically work its way into the cheese " yes that was not an exact quote but still pretty funny. Thank you, good science.
I'm curious as to how you would store the whey? Just refrigerate it? Otherwise this video answered every question I had. It may have been a little slow, but you strike me as a very patient person and it was so informative that it didn't matter. What I'm trying to say, is great job and thank you. :)
Thank you for the video! :-) You made something that I have always felt intimidated by seem simple enough to do. Thank you again. Can't wait to make my first batch. :-)
You look tired. Good video. One little trick I use when making butter is to whip heavy cream, let it fall, and ball it up in cloth. I use an old t-shirt because it is fine enough to let the whey out but keeps the butter in. It beats shaking a jar for 10 minutes.
Love the video I just want to ask if you used also Mesophillico culture or just Chevre?? Thanks. i am trying to make my cheese to have that texture. Think my mistake is using too much rennet.
Hi, your video is very interesting and helpful. I have a couple of questions about goats cheese. I have a farm of about 18 acres and we have our own dairy business but which involves mostly cow and buffalo milk and milk products. We also have 5 goats at the moment and I was thinking of making goat's cheese on a commercial level. 1st is it commercially viable project? 2. How expensive are the cultures you used in making of your cheese? Thanks
Do you notice any difference in the texture between the one that is solely placed in the mold and the one that you broke apart and worked with your hands?
No music, no unneeded foolish attempts at being clever or hip or entertaining, just solid, easy to follow intel. Outstanding!
+John Gregory Gonzales Thanks much!! and yes, Nori did a great job putting forth the info.
+John Gregory Gonzales
So true!
well put, i agree
Solid intel?
"...rennin, which will break down the protein walls..."
Thank you, I love you too!! And your right rennin is fun and delicious..
"And now comes my favorite part - eating the cheese." That's my favorite line. 😊
this is by far the BEST cheese making video I have ever seen -nothing left to the imagination and extremely clear instructions

you are a beautiful artist,
I want to make some now! can I just use goats milk found in the grocery store? This is a very informative video, excellent!

I love this video tutorial. You’re amazing
Is the metal compatible with the cheese ferment?
Do you make butter too
Just wondering what type of feed do you. Feed your goats
you can use cow's milk, but it wont be chevre. It'll be a type of soft cheese - and I'm sure quite delicious.
Do you have the metric measurements? That will help us who learned in liters, grams and what have you. Please and thank you.
