Just my opinion - for every woman her natural her suits her more than any other style or colour. Nature is always harmonic and knows best.
I think that in most cases, too like I think back suits her much better than ruby red but in some cases I would still change it I guess? for example I have like skincolor, eyecolor and basically everything from my mom just my hair color form my dad and I don't think it suits so well
100% agree! And i get the idea of where someone says that some people look good with everything... but when you really look at it, their natural hair will always suit them best because it’s so unique😍
Except when mother nature mandates you start losing your hair permanently 😭😭 time to fight nature with surgery lol

I disagree. Outside of what’s natural and what’s not, some color combinations are visually more appealing than others. Like my skin is gorgeous with silvery lavender hair, because they’re complimentary colors and just aesthetically more satisfying than black. Nothing to do with what’s natural and what’s not, it’s what matches objectively and what doesn’t.

Very bad... Dying your hair can make you have no hair at all because dying your hair with chemicals could make your hair start to fall out 😫
My hair is pretty dark, I have to bleach it to get neon colors to really dhow. I bleached my bangs and use Pravana ChromaSilk, it's semi-perminant and comes in lots of colors! I wish I could do my whole head every day different colors! Wigs for sure 😄

My dad is Jamaican not African-American. There both black, but they're not the same. That's like saying all white people are Italian or all Hispanics are Mexican. Africa is a continent, Jamaica is a country in the Caribbean. They are similar but still different. If someone was born in Jamaica or are of Jamaican descent then they're Jamaican...

My mom works for Mizani. It's a professional hair care brand so if anyone's looking to buy it you'll only be able to find it in select stores like ulta, Sally's and you can find it in salons. That stuff works goooood. ❤️ btw, your hair looks soooooo good.

tbh, you actually inspired me to shave all my hair off! My hair was very, VERY damaged, I even remember being in school and teachers going up to me and saying how fried my hair was. Its been almost a year now since i cut it and its never been healthier! its sort of like a small curly afro (i have black+latino hair, i guess my texture is 3C) and aah i just love it so much, so thank you for being an inspiration and a good reason for me to be brave !

one of the great things about natural hair is not having to worry about a bunch of different chemicals reacting with bleach and dye. I'm 4 years natural and haven't dyed my hair in 12 years and as of a month ago I started bleaching it and dying it. I'm falling in love with my hair all over again. I love your hair drew, it looks super soft and fluffy. I'm interested in seeing what colors you decide to dye it!

Its funny because I did the big chop exactly one year ago as well in september, and our hair is the exact same length and texture now lol. You said you wanted to dye your hair. I think it would be a great idea if you made u- part wigs, and you could only dye a small portion of your natural hair. I also wear wigs year round and it's the best thing ever.I think you trying out the u-part wig with your natural hair would be a great idea because you can test the color out, and you also only dye a small section of your hair instead of it all. Hope that helps.

I want to tell you my story because I wish someone told me theirs when I was younger. I used to texturize and bleach/color my hair all sorts of colors. I LOVED color. I used to joke about how resilient my hair was because it was never damaged from all the chemical treatments. About 8 years later, I'm washing my hair in the shower after a texturizer and my hair is coming out in clumps. I ended up shaving it bald but it hasn't grown back the same. One year after being bald and I have a quarter of the hair I usually grow in a year. I went to a dermatologist who told me my hair follicles were severely damaged. Color is great but I wish I did it in moderation. I thought i'd have hair forever and now I'm accepting that wigs may just be my only choice. I wish you all the success with your hair and you are just beautiful!
if u want to go really light u should dye it gradually and don't bleach. I love how long ur hair has gotten :)

Your natural fro looks so cute! Congrats on making it to a year! As a fellow curly haired girl, I've dyed my hair MANY times. I've even bleached it! And that hasn't affected the overall health of my soft curls. I just deep condition immediately after dying and then once a week or so after that. With that said, dye your hair all you want. You do you! For me, having curly hair is about figuring out a routine that works for you, trying out products and keeping products that make the cut, no pun intended. I enjoy watching your vids and thank you for posting this one!

Honestly, once you've achieved the level of healthiness you want with your natural hair, the color will not damage it as much as it would when it's processed. I went back natural and I am LOVING IT! You look absolutely gorgeous with the way you have your hair! Peace and Love to you...

Its a called relaxer a perm makes white people hair curly. a relaxer makes curly hair straight. it relaxes the roots/hair.

+yannagrl24 I wear my natural hair a majority of the time now. I usually just wear wigs when I go to events or I'm making videos. I don't braid it but I do have to slick it back into a little ponytail. It's too poofy to get the wig on otherwise lol

hi i also had really damaged and i cut it and dyed it. i was really scared to go to school. i wore hat beanies and hoodies just to cover it. then one day my teacher told me to take off my hood. i was so scared. it felt like like all eyes were on me. i eventual told it off and tried to not get attention but then this kid in my class was like "woah wat happened to ur hair" and then everyone was like "woah". some ppl did laugh but most ppl like it. almost a year later ppl still laugh but when if the do just say "at least my hairs short by choose" 😁😁😁

I remember watching your video about a year ago thinking I WOULD Never buzz..shave my head. Knowing I had alopecia and my hair was thinning and balding in some areas. I thought you looked GORGEOUS bald/shaved. I loved it, but thought this look is for HER, Not me.
