I for one like when he pauses to tell stories. Otherwise it’s just him watching unusual memes and laughing/making faces.
I think the issue people had with it was how he went on a huge rant / story for most of the reaction instead of having a good mix. I don’t personally mind it unless it’s *SUPER* long but eh

I don’t mind the pauses but It’s different when it’s a 20 minute video and 15 minutes of it is him telling a story he’s already told before
I'm from Europe and our fridges are cold.... its usually one 2 degrees above freezing temperature. And you can change the temperature on almost any fridge.
It's either only France thing or it's Luds family that had a lukewarm fridge.

I like when Lud pauses to take a break/breather, laugh off a good vid, or tell a quick thought in relation. It's just when he tells a story that takes up half the YT video meant for unusual memes that makes me feel like a whole separate video for that story would have been more ideal.

Space bar is actually the hot key for the highlighted function. It’s set to pause/play by default to start, but if you hit Tab or Shift+Tab it will change the highlighted function and space bar will do something else

3:10 you can also press space to pause, F to fullscreen/exit fullscreen, T to enter/exit theatre mode, and 1-10 to skip to certain points in the video, like 3 for 30% into the video or 7 for 70% into the video

K is unironically way better for pausing than space bar is and I've used it for years
The difference is that double tapping spacebar switches between fullscreen and windowed, whereas you can spam k as much as you want and it will never change. Very helpful when you're trying to pause on a specific frame and need to jump start the play button a little bit
