Hey. A UA-camr data mined and posted a video about tower raids mechanics. So there will be something called alarm levels where hordes of infected will swarm in, another thing is a hive floor where you need to destroy a volatile hive, there will also be modifiers for every run regular missions will have 2 modifiers 1 positive 1 negative, and elite missions have 1 positive and 2 negatives this will heavily make this replayable. I might not have explained it well but watch his video
Something I think would be cool is on every difficulty you have to put away all of your gear and the only gear you get is from the tower and then at the end you can pick the items you wanna keep
What i think they can do is, 2 tower mods, normal and hardcore like they did with chapters missions. - Normal = You can use your weapons and other stuff with the normal timer for each floors - Hardcore = Preset gear with shorter timer, harder boss and stronger variant of each enemies. Tower will have 2 possible outcomes, 1 being a disaster, 2 being something that you can play until the release of dlc2. I don't want to jump into bad conclusions since tower raid is not fully finished and out yet, but we already have few rewards already in the files and they don't look that rewarding at all.
I think this is a really solid take! I hope the Devs make the correct moves when it comes to this content as it sets the stage for DLC 2 and future updates.
@@ManMeetsGaming I really hope it won't be just a poster on a wall, we need them to rework the entire place and create a hub for tower raid. Its not just a small thing, its a permanent repetitive content that will last until dlc2 is released, they really need to work on it and not throw a dlc1 at us.
Honestly I was hoping that it would be a linear progression. While I love replayability in games, I worry that it will be more quantity over quality. While I personally will enjoy whatever they come up with, I do hope that whatever it is will have some unique encounters and areas that can't be as an almost 1 to 1 copy somewhere else in the DL2 world. (great video btw, really well done)
This is a solid take I get where you are coming from on the linear progression. I think there will be definitely some linear progression mixed in, but like you said quality is a key word I hope Techland will capitalize on. Also thank you glad you enjoyed the video!
Ugh i feel like its just gonna be very repetitive and buggy just like all their recent updates. There is always something wrong so they have to always do a hot fix smh
Correct, that’s exactly what it will be. Nothing they’ve came out with in the past two years wasn’t completely centered around repetitive grinding because their game is dead 😂

It will be copy pasted grind garbage. They’ve produced nothing else for the past 2 years. This will be no different 😂
I just wish these updates were more singIe pIayer focused, I'm tired of using my gIitched weapons just to overcome the grind

All we can do is hope this won’t be the case. The quality of release is very different compared to the Techland that gave us DL1 DLC.
