I love how it ends on a courageous note instead of fading away like most songs, it’s like representing how much farther Firestar will go instead of fading at the end
Am I the only one that loves the placement of the lyric, "Life goes on." This lyric placement is not only about Firestar but about what most deputies that become leaders have to deal with. Their leader dies but they have to stay strong for their clan. It just makes me feel lifted because of that. Being a deputy that has to become a leader because the former one died can be tough. But for a cat like Firestar/Fireheart he had been close with that she. And even though she may have gone crazy at the end Firestar/heart still cared for Bluestar. After that leader died, he felt grief but he had to stand up anyway and keep his head high for his clan. I respect that about the cats that feel that same emotion. (Whoa look at that length!!)
Yooo, this MAP is getting me emotional over Firestar as a protagonist ;u; I feel like in terms of Warriors protagonists, he's kind of overlooked and sometimes seen as boring and plain as far as they go. Especially compared to later protagonists, who often remain as central characters in later arcs, Firestar often got relegated to mostly just 'Thunderclan's leader,' then got killed off after getting a prominient-ish role in The Last Hope. But we get to see Firestar as someone who rises from what the clans see as an inferior and useless kittypet into the respected clan leader he is. We see him constantly beat the odds and overcome what others think of him, and through it all he just stays *kind* We never really see him turn away a cat in need, even if they treated him poorly in the past or actively thought less of him for being a kittypet. He always tried his best in the role he was given. He would only ever break the rules when he thought it was for the best. You can especially see this in A Dangerous Path when he goes behind Bluestar's back, but only to avoid war and bloodshed. He wanted to follow his leader's orders, but he couldn't let cats get hurt over something that may not have been true. Like... pretty much all Warrior protagonists now have been born and raised in clan society, and we see them hold and carry traditional clan values that Firestar just didn't have. Firestar was just kind. And we saw all four clans rally behind him during the battle with Bloodclan for it. We haven't had any protagonist do that since. Even in The Last Hope, he was major reason all clans rallied together during that time. I'm really happy to see a MAP just focus on Firestar again, because he deserves it. Everyone did an excellent job here and it very much made me emotional :D
Firestar fans been eating so well recently - ty for the food!! Srsly, this is a fantastic project!! I especially love the way the visuals match the song's mood and builds tension slowly. Very classy project for a very classic feline
The timing when he puts his paw down, the lipsyncs of "I won't fade out, I'm no ghost, let me go", the vision of him receiving his nine lives to the beat of the music... its all wonderful!!!
Brilliantly done! I enjoyed the other arcs in Warriors, but honestly, nothing will beat the first six books for me! The final battle between the clans and Scourge is still the most epic moment of the series with the build up and how much we got to see Firestar grow from kittypet to hero!

I'm thirty minutes late but hey! This is still amazing! I love how the song's tone and pace accurately describes Firestar's pain and feelings throughout the MAP. Most projects about him potray him as a flawless hero who did everything right, when in reality, he had his flaws and he went through a lot of tough times, and this MAP shows it perfectly. I love that. This is now my favorite Firestar MAP.
This is SO GOOD. I've been rereading the prophecies begin for the first time in 15 years and remembering back when these characters were everything to me. I had forgotten how much Firestar just felt so unprepared for anything that was happening and how much he had to lean on his friends, thrown into violence and leadership that he was just too young for. This really captures that - just a young cat who went through life too fast, but is willing to push through everything with all he has for the sake of those he loves. (And thats not even to mention the AMAZING art every single animator did)
I kind of love how the music ramping up all towards the end and firestar totally owning scourge overplaying with the credits all kind of gives the vibe that the story isn't ending, it's only beginning. and considering how all of this was kind of actually just the first chapter of the warriors series and firestar's life it's so fitting!

This is the most spectacular thing I've ever seen like the animation and like everyone's part is so good I love the designs and it's like so cute! Firestar such an iconic character I feel like most people now forget about think the old books like into the wild and that was like the start of the fandom so like, and the fandom has been kind of weird lately but aside from that the Warrior Cats to community will continue to make really awesome Firestar Maps
I love Firestar and the first part of the series as depicted here. It's my childhood. This reminded me of those feelings, of he it felt to follow his adventures. Pure nostalgia ❤❤❤
