I like what he is showing, (attacking the top leg is an interesting strategy) but its a little frustrating because the top guy's technique is really bad. He isn't hiding the same-side arm, which is leg-riding 101. He isn't attacking the half, or generating any pressure with his hips. Also, a common technique would be to have his feet crossed, which would negate the bottom guy's option to grab the topside leg. I would like to see how Coach Ayers countered someone with better leg-riding technique.
In high school I was an unfukwitable top wrestler but I remember being utterly neutralized by Princeton wrestlers my freshman year in ‘13. What a treat it would be to be in this room. Princeton has done a phenomenal job with their wrestling program
