What was jacks plan he hired possible vault hunters just to kill them doesn’t make sense to me could someone explain to my 2 iq brain
At that moment Jack's Intention was not to find more men to help him into the vault.. You see, at the beginning of BL2 Jack said that he had already found the vault's location and he was digging through it. He was trying to find his potential rivals and eliminate them. He killed tons of vault hunters before them and dumped their bodies in front of claptrap's place.

It doesn't level great.
If anything I use the Sabre Turret as a room distraction so that I don't get shot up. But yeah, it loses it's edge late game for how little it can be imporoved on compared to the other characters abilities.
It's also the most boring, in every game

As the generic Vault Hunter, he was my personal favourite, that Saber Turret saved me so many times.
he can definetly be a force to be reckoned with but he for myself just got boring so i moved to krieg and fell in love with the explosive mania build

When I first began playing BL2 I saw a lot of comments saying Axton was the most boring VH, so I ended up saving him for last but...

People have misunderstood the character since the games release. For years people said he was boring or weak. Boring is fair I suppose, possible that he's just not some peoples cup of tea. I personally find him really really fun. Explosive/grenade builds on Axton are amazing, and with Tediore chuck builds he pretty much lead the time trials for years. Not sure how it is now as I haven't played BL2 in quite a while
I'm also having fun playing him. I like his movement speed, grenade while fight for your life and weapon swap speed.
He’s not as flashy as the rest of the cast, but that doesn’t stop him from being tactically fun and charming to listen to
Because compared to zero Salvador maya gaige and krieg he just seems well normal as all he gets is a turret which is probably overtaken by salavadors dual wielding guns or Gaiges death trap
His voice is such a far cry from his stone faced 3D model I can't wrap my head around it!

He’s my favorite vault hunter in 2 and is one of my favorites of all time. I was so disappointed when he was relegated to a cameo on a poster. It kinda blows.

@Reinhardt 's Dick I had fun. It’s a quick way to get loot and because the mode takes away the abilities and previous loot, it forces you to play a bit different than usual. But Axton and Sal could’ve been more prominent.

Moze with Iron Cub, Axton with the Sabre, Gaige with Deathtrap and Aurelia with her Diadem all havin a picknick while their personal non-human infantry tears up the battlefield
Roland and Wilhelm would be a better fit. Roland has his own turrent and Wilhelm has his surveyors

Axton has and always will be my favorite Vault Hunter... While Zero and Salvador players think they're hot shot with easy kills, my team is surprised that I never call on them for their help, as my turrets and it's Slag Rounds are enough for me to get the job done... I know 2 things for sure that Axton is better at than all the others... His use of SMGs and monsterly Grenade damage. My Axton is normally the only one standing when my team mates fall because I keep my distance and kill lots of entries with my turret....
There was even a time where this guy was using Salvador and his Pimper Sniper glitch to take down enemies and bosses, and he still went down when we were sounded by enemies... My Axton on the other hand was surrounded by Bandits and Juggernauts, but they were going for my Turret and my Turret kept them busy and was slagging them.... My Turret had the Long Bow ability which makes its health more up, therefore allowing me to destroy many of the enemies with my Fast Ball Grenades and sweet azz Sand Hawk Guns combined with my Metal Storm ability which increases my Burst Fire for every kill I get and using my Blockade ShiId.
It's funny when I see my other team mates crashing down and I'm still throwing Grenades and lighting the place up with my Turret and Double Peneteating Harold Gun and Sand Hawk guns and O-Negative grenades that steals health from enemies and adds it to mine....

Its the opposite for me. I was the one always standing as maya as I was the combat medic. Using res to make sure my party was alive and well. My wife always went down first
It's not really fair to claim one class is better than the others, as literally each class has fun/viable builds.

Axton with his chad Turrets. Me and my friends always had duels everyone time we thought we were the strongest or got better guns. But with me being Axton who needs better guns when you got Turrets? 😂

I was Roland in BL1 and Axton in BL2. People always said they were boring, but not to me. The soldier class has always been my playstyle, and their turrets are great distraction tools. And i guess you could also say boring is my middle name.
I and Also The white sword whielder in fantasy games and The ground soldier with Guns .
I always loved playing as axton, he was the first character I played with and was the perfect level of crazy but not too outlandish to get me into the series. He was fine to play with my friends with and good when I played solo making it feel like you have a teamate. May not be the most flashy but he will always be one of my favorites
He just wanted to be famous and adored. Whether he achieved fame by Vault Hunting, modelling or both doesn't really matter to him. So, I think his new profession suits him perfectly.
Not really, hè technically was allready a successfull bounty hunter, had alot of money and clout but it was not a challenge, hence why hè went vault hunting, him turning to modelling seems like a level bellow finding intergalatic alien vaults that would make you beyond famous and rich as well as being a real challenge, they just didnt dedicate effort to his story in bl3

After what Lilith and Roland did in TPS, he hated all vault hunters. He was rounding them up to kill them all.
@@griskin_8202 no, he was basically creating vault hunters, most of them were bounty hunters or soldiers, or just run of the mill criminals. By putting out adds he is going out of his way to get people interested in vault hunting thereby creating vault hunters. Vault hunters are not a race, it's a profession that very few people undertake or even know exist
@@montecarlowithdawningornam1817 yea, by putting out ads he was attracting vault hunters, but he wasn't creating them, it's not a job, it's just the name people give treasure hunters crazy enough to go after vaults. And he did it specifically to attract these people so he can kill them, as they're the only ones who would've responded to them. Ultimately it doesn't really matter, just figure it out in your headcannon and have done with it.
@@griskin_8202 huh, I always thought jack searched for vault hunters to kill the destroyer, and since the vault hunters in bl2 arrived after the destroyer was dealt with, he wanted to kill them because they would just be in his way at that point.
@@fyrdup yeah, that makes sense too, I don't think why he was killing Vault hunters was ever explicitly stated. I suppose it hinges on when those echos of Angel showing him the BL2 vault hunters were recorded, before or after BL1

Please take as much time as you need when you get around to Athena's "history of" video. Shes my favorite character in all of borderlands.
Shes been IN every borderlands(BL1,BL2,BTPS,TFTB).
After the warning the watcher gave us about "The War" that was coming, I had high hopes of seeing her in BL3. Sadly theres no trace/mention of her at all in BL3 or its DLC. Real bummer tbh

I still remember when people theorised that Athena became the CEO of Hyperion in BL3, due to the inclusion of shields on most Hyperion weaponry.
Can't exactly prove them wrong, but I just wanted to mention it.
she was actually the voice of Nyriad in BL3, only recently found out this fact, enjoy :D

It makes sense imo. At the end of the day - he was just a regular merc/soldier like Moze and Roland. He’s always been one to prioritize fame and glory, so modeling and hosting the arms race makes sense for him.

After all, I had what it took to make me a Lieutenant (although, by laws back then... Would require me to head back into service... Whenever needed. Why? Because some officer ranks built further responsibilities.). My apologies for the rant, still thanks for hearing me out.

I'm thinking they're doing a Fifth DLC and it has to be centered around either Salvador or Axton, I mean, they had a DLC Centered around Moxxi and Handsome Jack/Timothy, A DLC Centered around Hammerlock, Wainright and Gaige and a DLC Centered ENTIRELY Around Kreig... So a Fifth DLC Centered around Axton or Salvador would be AWESOME

So I'm still confused on one story aspect. It was Handsome Jack who got the vault hunters together and convinced them to hunt the vault. But then he turns around and blows up the train he puts them on and tries to kill them at every opportunity. Why bring them together in the first place? Did he think that they might be a problem later and decided to try to kill them sooner rather than later?
In the pre-sequel handsome jack gained knowledge of what everything would happen in the future. So, he would try to prevent it from them getting in the way later. What better way than to gather them all in one place you know they’ll be and then kill them all?
