I would agree but I would also disagree because i think a lot of churches accept it too much. I get that we are human but if you were actually praying over it and reading the word and APPLYING WHAT THE WORD SAYS !!! I think it’s good to talk about sex, you can’t say “don’t do this” and then leave it at that. My mom and I had an in-depth talk about everything and my mom is a staunch catholic but she understands the importance as a medical personnel. You talk about consent, orgasms both female and male, reproduction, birth control/family planning, diseases and so on. That was hella beneficial.

I am a now single divorced Christian woman. The fact that I am now divorced does not mean that I no longer have sexual urges. I pray and I do hold on to God’s unchanging hand. I will not defile my body or dishonor God by having sex without being married. It is not easy to follow God and still have normal sexual urges and not give in to the feelings. Yes I want sex but I will wait on a husband to act on my urges. Pray for me.

This needs to be a discussion in church. People need to understand that they shouldn't be ashamed for desire, it is natural and if we didn't have that then humanity wouldn't survive. Instead of being ashamed of urges, we should be taught that God made us like this for a reason and you can still be a loving child of God AND want sex.

Therefore I think The Church should establish a 12 step program within it's walls to help the flock with this and other issues, ie: lying, stealing, adultery, smoking, drinking because they are all addictions.

So yea, urges will come, whether we like it or not, Jesus, the son of God was tempted, but He did not give into it, He fought it using wisdom from the scripture given by God, We have to fight temptations/evil/lustful thoughts with God's truth, the Bible, prayer and also creating boundaries with what we choose to watch, who we choose to spend time with, what we choose to talk about etc Read your Bible, pray everyday, find accountability partners who are also Christians, create boundaries... The enemy can't do anything to us unless God gives him authority to do so. We must feed our spiritual man with God's Word, 🙏 always, & fast ( Mark 9:29, 1 Thessalonians 5:17). The pattern of life hasn't changed. Just like we feed our natural man with food we must do the same with using the Word of God to feed our spiritual man. In other words, our appetite for God wanting HIS desire for our lives must be greater than our own personal desires. Or suffer the consequences! Let us not continue to partnership with the satanic forces around us and deceive ourselves. One will reap what he or she sows (Gal 6:7). Warning: Those that sow in corruption will choose to reap corruption (Gal 6:8). If one bows to the lust of the flesh then be prepared for the birth to damaging side effects. Such as STD's (STI's), baby momma/daddy drama, child support, any abuse, blended family drama to name a few. The LORD knows all about our hormones y'all after all He created us. If u fall don't worry about what people say they don't have a heaven or hell to put u in. but remember everything that is shiny ain't gold. And must pay for your sins. Choosing to ignore GOD's warning & then we fall into sin & have the nerve to blame God. It makes no sense😔. Let us not be deceived any longer. God's plan has always been to protect us & give us an abundant life (John 10:10). It is our adversary the devil that wants to steal, kill, & destroy our lives. Think about it, what better way to do this than getting us to denounce what we know is right through God. We are at war, wake up! The issue is worship & we cannot serve two masters. Choose the LORD JESUS CHRIST for yourself or our enemy that old serpent the devil. Follow after the carnal sinful nature that the devil can manipulate into sinning against God or use the Holyghost power that God gives as a free gift once recieved to follow Him using ur spiritual nature. Nothing new under the sun folks (Ecclesiastes 1:9). God gives temperance or self control it's a fruit of HIS Spirit so ✔ yourself. You must have HIS power to overcome whatever we face in this life. We must choose to let HIM lead & guide us by acknowledging HIM in all our ways (Proverbs 3:6). Salvation is serious & we must take it seriously if we want to be with JESUS someday! Stop doing what thou wilt & follow God's way of "thou shalt not."JESUS is Coming! REPENT, take on His name through water baptism & receive His precious gift of the HOLYGHOST (Acts 2:38) . SORRY to write a book. Just thought I'd share what the LORD put on my heart to share & hopefully help someone endure to the end. We can overcome this😁.There is nothing too hard for GOD not even "SEX".

When u reach the age of 13 you start feeling all these urges and that is when you talk to your guardian about u a man. Just because somebody is save does not mean they are raising their children. When u are already grown in the church and unmarried u fast and talk to JESUS CHRIST and say Lord, the flesh is weak, every time u see some men, in a woman case or women in a man case that u like turn your head quickly. Date and get good data about the person because folks be lying about being save for real and then pray for JESUS CHRIST to let u have that. If u fall don't worry about what people say they don't have a heaven or hell to put u in. but remember everything that is shiny ain't gold. And must pay for your sins.
