Actually, Rebecca's GRANDAD was the king. Her DAD was a gladiator that became a toy.
You missed out the ACTUAL tragic part of Senor Pink's backstory;
He was a mobster who fell in love with a woman, and married her and had a kid, all while keeping his mobster life a secret from her and pretending to be a banker. While he was away on a mission his son fell ill and died, and when he got back and found out, his devastated wife confronted him about how she tried to contact the bank, and she found out he'd been lying to her for years. She ran off into the night, and was injured in a storm, ending up catatonic in hospital. Senor Pink went to visit her every day, talking to her and trying to get some response. When he brought some of their son's things, and put on the bonnet for a moment, his wife smiled. She didn't wake or respond, but just smiled. And from that day on Senor Pink wore more and more of his son's old things in an effort to keep his wife smiling, and still continues to do so in their memory.
Sorry, just got four minutes in and HAD to emphasise how ridiculously heartfelt Senor Pink's needlessly tragic and detailed backstory actually is, haha xD

if the non-cannon impel down escapee you're talking about is shikki, then him escaping impel down is actually cannon. the movie is non-cannon tho
As for mr 2 bon clay , he becomes leader of the newkama people inside impel down , since Ivankov left and he took up the post she left . He is honestly such a great character and the impel down arc is honestly so good .
Edit : Megellan is one of the few characters who defeated luffy and blackbeard which in of itself is achievenent though later he would fall bkackbeard and his crew .

The entire Impel Down design is basically Hell, so Magellan fits if you know what I mean

Small clarifier, Senor Pink’s infant son dies of illness while he’s out on pirate business and it is while trying to reach out to him and tell him the bad news that his with Lucy Ann finds out the truth of his profession. During their eventual confrontation she storms out of the house and is caught in a landslide that leaves her in a vegetative state. Wearing the bonnet and diaper like their son used to wear is the only thing Senor Pink could do that would make her smile, so he gladly does it day after day
Kid is basically Magneto: Master of Magnet(Welcome to DIE.).
Bon Clay is such a real one
I liked the Hody arc, but Hody was such a poorly written villain that Oda promised to not attempt what he tried with Hody again.
I feel that the fishman island arc was just there to have the strawhats flex and show off there new powers.
Sanji does end up hitting women
I'm sure that they fix this later, but Rebecca is actually Riku's granddaughter

@@Hydrastudios16 Sorry, man. But if it makes you feel better, he gets stopped by a rather unlikely character after he starts pulling crap again. Besides, unless you're Whitebeard or Ace or a flashback character, you don't die in One Piece.
