Your breakdown at 2:47 is amazing. I was tying to figure out of the new "Blood and Guts" deluxe edition was contained in this absolute. But all I could find was that it contained issues 0-12. I didn't know if they were the same 0-12 or a different set. So confusing. This cleared things right up. Outstanding prestation here!
I would like to see more people on here collecting DC stuff
i upgraded as soon as i saw this for half off. i actually triple dipped on this series because this was one of the first series i picked up when i started seriously collecting comics about three years ago. after getting volumes one through three in trade paperback, i eventually upgraded to the hardcover volumes one threw six. over the years i've changed, now i prefer reading and collecting deluxe and absolute editions. this absolute wonder woman is fucking gorgeous! great vid man!
+zer0586 Thanks so much! Being back full force in single issues, re-reading runs is just amazing in Absolute format rather than breaking open that Mylar.. I know most of my Omnibus brothers would disagree but Absolutes should take up more releases over Omnibus'. Maybe it's just me but I would've preferred to have multiple volumes of Absolute Gotham Central and Manapul Flash (I know I'm spoiled)
it's not just you, absolutes are just too damn sexy looking, especially with the beautiful art on the slip cases. i find absolutes a lot less cumbersome to read as well.
I've never read Wonder Woman, but that artwork looks fantastic. The binding looks amazing too, how does it compare to other Absolute editions?

+Neriek Nic Cage has got my vote for president in 2020! Perez, Azzarello and currently Rucka (rebirth).... those are the runs you need to read ASAP :) Binding from memory has always been the strong point of any Absolute Edition... The problems always has been with glued pages and sometimes the dust jacket being glued inside to the slipcover. This is nitpicking but would be awesome if we had DC give this book the Preacher treatment.. sure it would be $150 not $125 but we would get a nice faux leather bound book!
Hmmm. I might hate you right now. Just ordered the Perez omnibus as it was cheap, so we'll see! I was hoping to read Wonder Woman Rebirth in trade but the dual stories seem to be making those releases kind of random. Wouldn't you recommend the other Rucka Wonder Woman run?
Were both the Preacher and Sandman covers done in the style of an old leather book then? I'd be so tempted to just go all out and buy the absolutes, but they aren't cheap and seem to be a ridiculous amount here in the UK. I think they're about £70-£90.
Would you ever suggest experiencing a story for the first time as an absolute, or that trade/omnibus is best and then get the absolute if you think the artwork is something special?
I picked up the original Rucka 2003 run in trade format (collects #195-205) but never gotten around to reading it. Im actually interested diving into the Straczynski run more but I have a feeling we'll see a new edition there.

+Daniel “Danoh's Comics” Me too! I was giddy when I saw it being solicited last year.. I always thought it would just get the omnibus treatment. Now I wish Manapul's Flash had gotten the Absolute treatment too... Imagine a thick red faux leather bound Absolute...
Oh man that would have be fantastic! I'm just happy that they are putting these omnis and absolutes out there, DC is getting better at it, hopefully these books will be a success and they'll put more collections out there.

+Julio Jimenez I dropped single issues for a long period and it was just before the New 52 launch.. I read these all in trades or digitally. Makes me regret now being full force getting my issues again in single issues.. Bypassing the Rebirth Trades (most likely going straight to Deluxe)

Beautiful! Mine is coming in the mail. I am not a WW fan but this series was exceptional. Maybe for the page shots you could zoom out some so we get more idea of the scope/size of the pages in relation to everything else.

I enjoyed the New 52's art so much I want to collect all of the hard covers is JL, WW, Bats, and Supes. I'm looking into getting Absolute WW Vol 1 this Christmas
Should be getting mine in the next couple of days. I still have the 6 hardcovers as well that I need to sell off. Hopefully volume 2 gets solicited soon as well.

The Deluxe Edition I just subscribed since your videos are so comprehensive and beautifully made. However I consider videos like these "reviews" and "hands-on" is a much more ambiguous word for me, so I wasn't too sure what I was in for (english isn't my mother language). Also, combining comic book hauls with hc book reviews makes it harder to find a specific book review. These things aside your videos are a feast for my eyes. XD Will you ever review Marvel books?
Thanks so much! I am taking a short break to focus on other projects but you are 100% right, when I come back, focus should be on single books/titles/runs/statues and no longer in hauls. In regards to Marvel, I unfortunately currently don't read any titles due to the limited time I have and the amount of content DC keeps me engaged. If time permits, I would read more in the Image/Boom/Dark Horse realm of books (e.g Fight Club 2 is something I'm dying to get to but never find the time).

I have the original 3 from DC Golden Age volumes/World's Finest/The Flash Silver Vol 1 + 2/Supergirl Silver/Green Lantern Silver (TODAY)/JLA Silver Vol 1 + 2/Teen Titans Silver/Brave and the Bold. I'm getting JLA bronze at the end of the month, stopping for a while until Doom Patrol Silver/Teen Titans bronze come out

The Deluxe Edition I wonder why there aren't more omnibus collectors who collect DC silver age ones. Didn't realize that many people disliked or hated it that much
There is definitely a market for them. I definitely collect them and enjoy them but in the next months or so, I am taking a break to focus on single key single back issues (will catch up all the missed releases when I get back to them)
The Deluxe Edition The only other comics I own are collections of EC comics, Golden/Silver/Bronze DC omnibuses, & Archie.
I like watching videos of people collect floppies, but it's not for me. :)

Probably :) Most of us got the original bear trap editions though :D It will make a good video comparing the two but I need wait for more Golden/Silver/Bronze Age releases to cover it in an upcoming video.
This week I picked up Batman Ego, JSA Golden Age and JLA HC's.
Should have purchased when it was $60 :(
Still worth it at a higher price :) What I sometimes do is use my credit card points on Amazon for books I missed out on release week.
Only thing worse than the cover is the interior art. They should've used the Perez period.
