- When we say this hike broke us - we mean it demolished our bodies and souls. We still don't have full feeling in our big toes (6 months later).
In this video, we attempt to hike Indonesia's second tallest volcano, Mt Rinjani. We knew it would be a tough endeavor, but we never expected the level of difficulty we were met with. Find out if we make it to the summit, and stick around for some hot takes and truths about the hike.

Thank you so much! 😊
Now that’s a hike I wanna do…
It’s a knee-killer - not necessarily going up, but definitely going down.
@ Oops that’s something I’ve gotta be careful of
@ indeed - but, maybe the porters could carry you down on a stretcher
nice video..
thank you so much! and, thank you for watching - glad you enjoyed it :)
You should visit EAST JAVA and borobudur temple.....very beautiful
We’ll make sure to check it out next time!
Nga usah, overrated harga masuknya beda, kebijakan yg fasis. Banyak org nga kenal minta photo, terus bakal dipanggil2 mister.
I know who I am!! LOL I've tried to comment twice now, but it doesn't seem to post. I don't know what's going on?
Anyway, I feel your pain. I hiked 25 miles round trip to the summit of Pikes Peak (14,115 ft) two weeks ago. Took me 3 days of hard hiking plus getting caught in a thunderstorm above tree line! Not fun. Thank God for hiking poles! 😁
Hahaha! And, yikes!! Thunderstorm above the tree line sounds pretty dangerous (and miserable). We at least had that going for us on this one - weather wasn’t bad. Glad you saw the callout - we were thinking of you a lot that day 😂
@@kineticpassports I'm flattered for sure. You can bet I'll be thinking of you guys 3 weeks from now when I head to Nepal! Getting excited and nervous!
Spent all this past week visiting locations in SW Colorado above 10,000 feet. Did lots of hiking at those altitudes. Hopefully, I'm well enough prepared for EBC! We'll see!
