I'm surprised I actually got this to work (took me three bombs), but then of course, I was using a rapier, and I couldn't stab the Bed until it had cast the fire spell. Double KO. -.-

Beat the game dozens of times, just never got the bombs to work. Actually, not the first time I've DKOed Bed though, either. I often kill her with a shield bash.
Guitar Hacks honestly fume knight has no easy mode (at least that I know of) - which is great! :P Like most of these kind of bosses you need to be patient and manage your stamina well. His heavy hits and split damage make tanking/blocking a bad option. Try only doing 1 or 2 hits at a time and always strave counter clockwise close around him. His attacks are pretty slow, so as long as you dont get greedy on your attacks you should be fine. Maybe even remove your armor to increase stamina reg and roll distance? Since you can only take ~2 hits anyways

My worst nightmare in DS1 is Knight Artorias, although I beat him on my last play through without too much bother
Guitar Hacks just be patient, you can do it! I feel you, artorias took so many tries... the resistances of the dlc bosses are brutal. Power within and a good physical weapons is the way to go and trying to figure out if you can stagger artorias out of his buff.

What you got to do is keep some knights alive and then bait the king right infront of a gate and when one of your knights freezes the door it instakills him. Buuuut they might have patched that
Symbicort Oh yeah, the old iron is the demon looking one that comes out of the lava right? They have so many different "king bosses" it gets confusing. Yeah I screwed the first two times because I just rushed the burnt knights to kill them, not realizing that they just respawn until one of the knights seals their door. None ever went for the king door even when I had two or so when the king showed up, so they probably did patch it. Thankfully though I got him on I think my fourth try.

Unfortunately, you're correct. You can't reliably do this after missing the second bomb. You can pack up a ton of arrows and try to hit the remaining branch from a safe spot with a bow or look up another tutorial that shows a safe path.
LOL, wastet all 5 firebombs cause I was to stupid to aim, ran to brach 1, smashed it, hasted to branch 2, cracked it, somehow made it back to the middle, got the jump I dont konw how and first tried this bug without breaking my ring of sacrifice. Used that 1 cause I knew I suck. ^_^ Still first try, so here is your like. ;-)
this is totally the intended method by the developers of beating this boss 😂 honestly there should be a difficulty slider in the beginning of the game, on easy it should just let you skip this bs boss xD and even if that was the only difference, i would be fine with that.
This might be a hot take...I know people are gonna hate me for this but...doing it the normal way wasn't that hard. Maybe it was because of my build but the actual threat of this boss were just the tree branches. The fire spell that every talks about that instants ya...didn't kill me, I got hit with it twice too when I got her. I was using the Black Iron Armor set and the Fire Ring with the Speckled Ring plus Flash Sweat so I don't know if those actually reduces that fire spell's damage or if I got hit with something else but once I figured out the gimmick and even realized those two fire blades don't even attack me once I'm in the inner ring where the tree hands attack all I had to do was time my rolls to avoid just one of them and get the running start to make the jump. I died a total of 9 times, most of them was falling to death due to my own stupidly and jump rolling instead of rolling. But....this is good to know for the next run.
@@symbicort4624 Yeah it is shocking to me how much this boss is hated when all it demands is patience and timing, the very basic level of skill this game demands. Even the dreaded sweep spam that everyone seems to hate isn't bad if you your way through it, I know it's tight, but parrying attacks is even tighter so if you can manage that even just at sometimes level, rolling through it's attacks can't be that difficult, right? I'm not good at the game, this can't be something only a few players figured out and did when it's been over 10 years since this game came out.
Although this can be done, it requires immense skill and reaction time, so it is by definition NOT easy. If it was easy the video's author would not need to draw diagrams all over the video explaining how to throw objects at just the right angle, during time windows of less than a split second. The way I do it really is easy.
+majesticlizard the number of buttons that have to be pressed is extremly low compared to any other way this boss can be beaten. The only skill required is some precision with the camera movement. While it does require the player to execute the sequence of inputs in a swift manner, there is nothing to react to, so no reaction time is required. There are only 3 visual fix points I explain here, which is all that needs to be memorized for this. My point is the specificy of this method does not necessarily make it difficult. With the practice of 2 or 3 successful attempts, you will be able to redo it easily everytime. However I do concede that there are other methods, which require different skills and are subjectively easier to perform for other players.

How about DS2? I'm struggling with Fume Knight after he buffs his sword. Trying to Tank him just isn't working 😂

when you say press the left analog ,you mean press or push it? Press like in L3 and R3?

works the same in remastered. You can watch a speedrun or something to confirm it. What exactly isn't working for you?
You tap forward when you throw, not just stand there.

If it's screaming you have already broken one of the limbs. You'll either have to be really fast&lucky or use a different tutorial

You can buy them for cheap at the undead merchant in undead burg or loot 6 in firelink shrine.
