Thanks for the video. Going to make this tomorrow. My husband is new Zealand Filipino. And his family would have it weekly. Now we have moved away from his family. I am going to make your slow cooker recipe tomorrow
I made this today and it was great the chicken was falling off the bones tender (you didn't need teeth to eat it) and the flavor was great. Very satisfied with the results!
My all time favorite menu adobo I'm craving for this huhu, since I don't cook here. Thanks for sharing new friend here sending full support and full watching your vid. C yah
Thank you for the recipe. Im ilocano, we dont put sugar in our adobo. But tagalog do this and other regions. Infact, when I go to a filipino restaurant, I dont order their adobo coz I know its sweet. Adobo was introduced by the Spanish and its only vinegar, no soya sauce. Anyway, Im sure yours came out really deli.
Maybe Ilocano Adobo came from the Spaniards, but Tagalog Adobo came from the Chinese way before Spain came to Manila, and that's with soy sauce. It wasn't called Adobo then, the Spaniard Pedro de San Buenaventura just called it “adobo de los naturales” because of its similarities with their spanish dish.
tagalog don’t usually do this…nauso lang yan sa mga tindahan… may kilala ko lahat ng filipino food nya may asukal…embutido, aftritada… now, even young people has diabetes
In the recipe linked it says 1/2 a cup of water, but I did not see you use water in your video? Is this optional and if so is this thrown in at the beginning with all the ingredients?
Yey! Please make more filipino recipes using slow cooker 😍
Tried it, loved it!!!!! So easy, so so tender!!! I tripled the ingredients and now have some frozen, oh yeahhh! Thank you.
Yay so happy to hear that! It’s definitely perfect for making big batches, enjoy your future adobo dinners 😋
This looks great, simple and easier than a lot of other Adobo recipes as well, going to try this today!
Thank you for this. I cant wait to try.
I can't wait to make the crock pot adobo for my family 🙂 thank you!!!
Hope you enjoy!
It's going down today! Definitely can't wait to reheat it tomorrow

To my great surprise, my family already loves the first recipe. I'm curious what they will say about this variant.
It can have a BIT less flavor since you don’t use oil, but it’s also a great way to make it healthier without sacrificing in flavor!
Looks delicious 😋 😍 👌
making this tonight!

Looks bomb gotta try it
Definitely! So easy and satisfying
Salamat dalaga

you forgot the bay leaves to include on your ingredience.?
