Don’t worry about your score too much, a really great part of the game is love & tolerance.
Instead, once you’ve made 7 shots just pick up your ball, get ready for the next hole. Nobody wants to have to watch you make a quad or double par. I’m fine playing with anyone as long as they kinda adhere to that sorta “modification”.
Go over to Bogey Hills or one of the other daily fees courses…but not a country club…see if the golf professional will give you some lessons, even group lessons, in exchange for a quick 15 second spot on your podcast. Barter. Getting a lesson or two will increase your learning curve exponentially.
The good news is I only had one score above 7! It was an 8 on a par 5 and it was the first hole of the day with no warmup swings so I will take it!

Not even close to being dangerous at all.
They haven't been a good hitting team at all this season.
I know there counting on nootbar, edman to help out ,possibly walker but there starting pitching won't, can't match up with the dodgers ,Phillies..
Hell there 6 out in the NL central.
Miles ,Lynn ,Gibby isn't the answer.
Trust me that's not a good 2,3 and 4 in the rotation when it comes to playoff baseball.

They need to add a solid #2 to go with Sonny ,I would trade for an OF who can hit , get on base..
Unfortunately we all know how mo , DeWitt does biz but it's highly unlikely they sign a #2 stud.
You do realize they won 1-0? Unless you’re going to get a 10 year younger Paul Goldschmidt/Nolan Arenado were probably looking for a first round exit in the playoffs, but hey at least Oliver gets to hang around. lol
John do you actually believe this 30 minutes was recorded and posted in the 3 minutes after the game ended? God gave you a brain, please use it. This video won't discuss the game tonight because it was posted the second the game ended.
Notice how last week, both were out of the lineup and we raked? While I like both of them as people, they are simply deadweight in the middle of the lineup. I can't be the only person that sees this
When Edmans and Nootbar get back, maybe it's time to sit Goldschmidt and Arenado. Maybe some rest will do them some good. We can Herrera PH and catch. We can have a solid lineup with some speed, hit and runs, bunting runners over, instead of hoping the old guys have a great day and put one in the gap. We're not even looking for homeruns any more from them, we're excited about linedrives into a gap.
They're definitely more dangerous than most people give them credit for. Having the best record in the national league since May 12th while playing at a 107 win pace during that stretch isn't nothing. That's a long enough stretch where its no longer a fluke. Heck they just beat the Braves last series. This team needs to be aggressively trying to add another front of the line starter to pair with Gray because you do that they become world series contenders.
That's a nice dang stretch since May 12

You ready to delete this yet? Because surely you weren't talking about individual games and meant series losses against those teams but that wouldn't make any sense because the Cardinals haven't lost a series this year to Cincinnati. You know who has though? The Phillies and Dodgers! So you might as well delete them from WS contention too. While we're at it the Braves and Brewers have both lost to the Marlins eliminating them as well. So I guess that leaves the Padres as the only team in the national league with a chance to be WS contenders and everyone else might as well sell at the deadline.
Potent enough to make the playoffs but how long will this said health hold up. I believe this team is the same as all the others since 2014 make the playoffs and get owned. You still have only a third of a team performing at any given moment. Still needs a full rebuild but we will never get it due to them being just good enough. I was hoping for them to be forced sellers but as the japanese say it is what it is. Why does baseball have to be so bad this year? Down league and any mediocre team can get in this nhl nba style playoff bs.
As long as Goldschmidt and Arenado are in the middle of the lineup, we're toast. I would consider platooning them, only playing 50% of the time. If Fermin gets playing time, he gets on base.
I'd use Goldschmidt as trade bait. That way we only have one superstar veteran being at the bottom of the lineup. We can't have middle of the lineup guys going 2-12, 3-12 every game.
The point I was making though is Goldy and Arenado shouldn't be in the middle. When healthy, everyone back, put them toward the bottom

Not dangerous. oldschmidt and Fraudenado are horrible.
Meanwhile, another team lets the Brewers win. Sal Peterson and the gang continue to pay teams to let them win.
