@@ProddyC It's gradual, nothing major until mile 10 then there's a steady incline. Nothing brutal though, and a downhill last mile. It's the heat you wanna worry about, it has been scorching the last 5 years off the belt. You're looking awesome so nor worries, you'll smash it 🙂
Amazing job but, why choose to positive split? Starting 4:00/km? That’s pretty bad idea to be honest. Honestly try negative splitting next time a vast majority of people run a lot quicker with a negative split. It’s also a lot more fun doing it that way! It basically means you’re not spiking your lactate and fatigue so early on. So try it if you want next time. Run ~3s/km over your goal pace for first 5k, run 3s under for last 5k.
