- While I love the original Resident Evil games, and am playing the current RE Remake ATM, Resident Evil 4 absolutely blew me away when I first played it, and revolutionized the survival horror genre... creating the action horror genre!

5:58 Silly, that sack is clearly burlap. Which is... at least three times stronger than paper. Hence, his bullet resistance. It's basic science, really.
I always found it hilarious how Capcom treats the word 'exclusive'
I can't or wouldn't knock this game at all, but it become pretty old for me pretty fast. Once I accepted that RE5 was no longer actually a horror game, I found it to be the better.
And yeah, even RE6. Once I accepted that monstrosity for what it was, it can actually be pretty damn fun.
I still haven't played RE6.... was it good as a general action game?
@@SuperDaveControl I would say so. Your character is speedy and has a wide range of movement. The ammo is balanced in a way where you can shoot a plenty, but also need to run/dive/flip into enemies and bash them. Not scary at all, Leon's campaign is probably actually the weakest because it tries to fool you about the game.
I'm not an online or pvp guy either, but the mode where you play as an enemy to slowly try your damnest to land just one attack is actually quite fun as well.
It's long in the tooth, but the 4 campaigns make it as a good background stress reliever.

I didn't like RE4 as someone who's just played better third person games. Including games in the same series. The game feels stiff, unresponsive, and dated. It was one of the first of its kind and well it shows. I won't diss people who enjoy it, I just can't get myself to like it.

I never got that same still feeling... especially compared to the original games which I felt was less stiff. But, to each their own. :) Glad you enjoyed the video!
