KBVO TV 42 - Austin, TX - 1985 - 1986 - Transformers / Local Commercials / Bumpers / Cartoons (4)

Hello friends -
For your enjoyment, this is yet another collection (tape 4) of clips from KBVO-TV 42 in Austin, TX in from 1985 - 1986. These clips were collected from various episodes of The Transformers which I recorded on VHS, and extracted various station bumpers, local advertisements, a smattering of toy commercials, etc. that gives the feel of what a local independent station was like in the mid-80s. Station ID prints and bumpers included.
Takara / Hasbro holds the copyrights to The Transformers and unfortunately the video is blocked in some countries.
I am hoping to submit more footage from television stations in the Austin area (80s - 90s). This includes local commercials and newscasts, station bumpers, national commercials and so forth with identifying marks from Austin television. Hopefully you'll enjoy the nostalgia associated with these broadcasts.

I like this, it looks like a raw broadcast with bumpers and commercials. ITs funny a lot of these toys are currently being re-released now under "Studio Series" banner.

Yep I'm happy the TF franchise has lasted this long. So many action figures, movies, tv shows, comics, etc.

6:50 Disney on Ice at THE Frank Erwin Center, tickets at UTTM. UTTM was a Ticketmaster franchise, but The University dumped Ticketmaster a few years later and changed to Texas Box Office. Now the Erwin Center's replacement, Moody Center, is going with Ticketmaster.

Given that the last few seconds of Dark Awakening feature Victor Caroli speaking over the original ending advertising the Return of Optimus Prime, at least that portion of the recording comes from sometime in/after February 1987.

Could you possibly put up the full episodes of the original Transformers series that you have? Would love to see the original broadcasts of any episodes you have.
