What’s silly is how crazy the rationale is here, like nobody wants another war why is it so hard to allow a recon mission just in case like “hey there’s a massing of the imperial remnant about to attack”. Best case scenario, no IMPS. Worst case, you discover the threat and now you have time to prepare
This is so cool! Shame the new rebublic and all this has to be indescribably incompetent and ignorant so the shit sequel era has to happen. Star Wars cannon ends with Mando giving the child to Luke to be trained well Boba takes over the criminal underworld like Maul and Ahsoka and a COMPETENT new rebublic ready to fight Thrawn and rebuild the Jedi order. No ben solo/Ray and sequel trilogy, no season 3, and no book of boba fett. (Or Kenobi for that matter… but Andor can stay.)

To me this is Canon cause there are parts of the Mandoverse that are good no doubt
