I love how this random cutscene recommended on UA-cam is significantly better than all three of the latest Star Wars movies. And every single TV show they've done. Whatever the Star Wars franchise was is definitely long dead now that Disney took it over.
I couldn't disagree more about the shows, however. I thought shows such as The Mandalorian, Bad Batch, TCW S7, TOJ, most of Rebels, BITS and PIECES of Kenobi & TBOBF were all equally as good, if not better. Some of them were definitely better than this. Rogue One and Solo were really good and I loved a lot of their books, comics and most of their games. Disney didn't do too bad with everything else outside of the really scrappy Sequels, in all honesty. Still love the hell out of OG BF III and am glad I grew up playing the entire condensed version of the game on the PSP!
And the Maker himself has gone on to express many regrets over the sale throughout the years in many subtle ways, and that's just sad how much Disney manipulated him to sell it off in the end. He even wanted to still work on stuff for them, for crying out loud! What a huge waste. I wish George had never sold Lucasfilm. And if he still wanted to, he should've sold it all off to Filoni, Favreau or Sam Witwer. Any of them alone OR together would've done an INFINITELY better job than the entirety of the Woke elites at Disney lol. Star Wars doesn't need a big budget, it needs a great goddamn story!
One would have to wonder if this game actually did get released, thankfully a lot of fans have actually taken everything from the free radical archive in and are trying to finish the game exclusively for the PC, so not all is lost. There is also the battlefront 3 project mod for the original battlefront 2 which includes all new cut scenes, a new story, and a host of new stuff.
The condensed version of it is on PSP for an insane bargain on eBay lol. More than worth it. Grew up with it and loved that one. Also the Wii version has the full story. Thank god for Modders.
Late war clones, towards the end there were a bunch of random test batches of non jango clones because they were stretching the genetic samples they had thin and cutting corners to meet demand. They generally weren’t as effective and meanwhile Palpatine was shitting out flash clones on two different planets.
I actually remember seeing this in the PSP game battlefront elite squadron. Wasn't exactly the best battlefront game I'd ever played but in retrospect it seems like it was what battlefront 3 was meant to be, it even had the whole land, air and space all in one gimmick. Which both fun and absolute chaos
I like the different pitch of jedi purge theme at the end there. Someone should upload it on its own. I think battlefront 2 did something similar with anakins dark deeds for dookus theme. Pretty cool.
It would be so cool if somebody developed a finished version of this game. It would probably be a nightmare to make though.

@@mrzirak792 I thought stormtroopers were meant to be an upgrade of clones and that’s why they used them for the empire as conscripted soldiers that willingly wanted to join presented more opportunities
@@aaroncook6404 while in-universe clones are precursors, real life guys who knew the lore could tell right a way that they weren't innocent. Mandalorian EU style and stormtrooper aesthetics were red flags from the start
ryan gosling just do your job
3:46 Well, now you gotta kill him, he's just repeating Kreia's teachings.
You are defeated! BTW here's your weapon back.
I am now depressed seeing at how we have been denied access to experience what could have been one of if not the greatest Star Wars games of all time.
I will never forgive whoever is responsible for denying me this 😢
This is what all Jedi should be based on their way of life but many are hypocrites?
Ah, the classic "We all have guns but lets run at our opponent"
3:45 Jedi being merciful to their foes gets them killed.
its interesting to see that the choreography between X1 and Falon Grey was ported to Elite Squadron
obvs more is going on here but if you look at both cutscenes you will be able to match a lot of it up
also this would have been the first actual representation of force heal in tv or game
@@mattnmad38Knights of the Old Republic 1, 2, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy had force heal before canceled BF3.
This feels more heartwrenching than what we got in Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron on the PSP.
@@VandicoupFiloni is a terrible writer who should never have been given anything
I need you to be for real
This is some insane levels of rose-tinted glasses.
This shit HARD AF 😭😭😭 so impactful and emotional, Disney has not and could ever make anything comparable
Execute order 66
One would have to wonder if this game actually did get released, thankfully a lot of fans have actually taken everything from the free radical archive in and are trying to finish the game exclusively for the PC, so not all is lost.
There is also the battlefront 3 project mod for the original battlefront 2 which includes all new cut scenes, a new story, and a host of new stuff.
Great story we will never get to play. Shame
Except you can now since this from the wii port and it is playable on dolphin
There was a Nintendo ds release call star wars battlefront elite squadron
You can play on the psp too
The condensed version of it is on PSP for an insane bargain on eBay lol. More than worth it. Grew up with it and loved that one. Also the Wii version has the full story. Thank god for Modders.
@@Vandicoup you can try whatnot , that’s where I got mine from . Only paid $12
They should make a remake of this game it would be awesome
remake? it never came out
So basically remake Elite Squadron
0:04 Who's that character? He is obviously not a Clone Trooper and was shocked about the Order 66 happening.
I actually have no idea
X1 and X2, a clone of Jedi Knight Falon Grey
@@gypsy762Elite Squadron was fantastic
Late war clones, towards the end there were a bunch of random test batches of non jango clones because they were stretching the genetic samples they had thin and cutting corners to meet demand. They generally weren’t as effective and meanwhile Palpatine was shitting out flash clones on two different planets.
@@jyggalag169this is not true, X1 and X2 are older than jango clones, made from a jedis DNA.
I actually remember seeing this in the PSP game battlefront elite squadron. Wasn't exactly the best battlefront game I'd ever played but in retrospect it seems like it was what battlefront 3 was meant to be, it even had the whole land, air and space all in one gimmick. Which both fun and absolute chaos
so basically, this was gonna be a more full version of elite squadron. i liked that game, and wouldve loved to play this
Other way around.
Thanks for posting!
The fight scenes and choreography in games that are this old put modern fight scenes to absolute shame. This is 2007 Clone Wars tier.
Suddenly Entire grand Army of the Republic has been sent an order and hunt down and destroy the Jedi knights
Dang, I don't remember my Nintendo DS looking this good...
It just FEELS more real than canon
Imagine how beautiful it would have been if it made it to release…
I am having such a blast playing this game, even though its buggy, its still everything i had hoped it would be
I like the different pitch of jedi purge theme at the end there. Someone should upload it on its own. I think battlefront 2 did something similar with anakins dark deeds for dookus theme. Pretty cool.
RIP Free Radical
I wish Lucasarts had not betrayed them.
at least Free Radical got the last laugh when Disney closed down Lucasarts and fired everyone
Wait, so ur tellin me that force healin was a thing long before Disney’s sequel trilogy?! Man, this keeps gettin more and more interesting!
Judging by these scenes the plot in the game was just ridiculous. It's good that it didn't happen.
This game would have been a fantastic time for a whole generation
It would be so cool if somebody developed a finished version of this game. It would probably be a nightmare to make though.
Every dark cloud has a silver lining
If this game was released, Clones would be traitors from the beginning
There would be no inhibitor chips or something like that
That's not true at all. One game wouldn't affect the Clone Wars story development much (as the Clone Wars ignored plenty of established lore anyway).
If this was released now, they could simply release it under legends banner, no need to make it part of disney canon. But of course it will never release.
@@MajorCarvia One more thing, Clonning Jedi was not possible until Palpatine started research during the Imperial Era.
X1 and X2 is a good story but the fact that they are Force Sensitive clones might break some lore.
Besides, Dave Filoni knows what he's doing, there are no smart writers in Disney atm
Now that's hilarious, Filoni is part of the Disney problem. Has been all along.
Filoni has done the most retconning xd
Look how smooth the motions are
Imagine real life version with Paul Walker as the main character
So was this a better version of the DS version of battlefront
Or rather the DS version was put together from what was left of this game.
This was suppose to be battlefront 3. Game was practically done before it was canceled. This is part of the content that was retrieved from the game. Not sure how they mustered it but a lot of the content from bf3 ended up as elite squadron.
Battlefront 3 was a multi Plattform game sp bf3 for Xbox360/ps3/pc/wii/psp/ds
If they'd just make the self defense argument in the first scene make sense this would perfect. I'm so disappointed this never ended up being released especially since we'll never get any real Star Wars ever again. What a shame.
It does make sense, he only uses lethal force once he is wounded.
Actually made sense. The Clone being "oh now you wanted to kill my brother" makes no sense
It's a shame too, the Jedi tried using non-lethals, but ultimately it wasn't enough
I think Star Wars would have been a LOT more interesting if they went this route of clones having free will instead of inhibitor chips.
They already did that. The chips were added in 2008
@EternalEmperorofZakuul I know, and I wish they would've stuck with it
I can remember this fight from Battlefront Elite Squadron.. but this actually looks half decent lol
Did everyone just forget about Battlefront Elite Squadron for the PSP? That's literally what this is.
The animations are SO GOOD wtf?!?!
We really had something cooking really well... and they just scraped it away
Was Falon Grey voiced by Clancy Brown? He sounds like him, even looks like he could be modeled after him.
“You did it, brother! You’re a hero!”
*NPC awkward silence*
*NPC leaves the scene*
What the actual hell, the devs for this game got screwed so bad for no reason.
This should've gotten an official release.
Good soldiers follow orders
With what is revealed about Order 66 in Clone Wars it makes X1's willing and eager compliance with it all the worst.
@@Dasistrite Realism has never been Star Wars' priority, (nor does its implemention automatically make a story better) it operates on the conventions of cinematic space fantasy adventures.
Its always been implied the Clones were not fully in control, since all Sidious had to do was say "execute order 66" and they immediately turned without protest, confusion or any sort of further explanation from him.
In fact in the video game adaptation of Revenge, Obi-Wan can say "Fight your programming" while in combat with them.
@@Dasistrite The inhibitor chips are the equivalent of a restraining bolt. Arguably it makes the meat droid analogy for the Clones even more apparent. The Clones either comply willingly or have the choice taken from them, no different than the droids they're fighting.
@@Dasistrite As much as I hate the "Star Wars is Spare Wizards for children." argument, are you really trying to call for realism when the CWMMP includes a giant Tentacle Monster as one of its prominent antagonists? Not that Durge is a bad idea, not at all.
Wtffffff I never knew there was a bf3 are you kidding me. Missing infinity stone of my childhood. The whole time playing bf2 I wished there was like an actual campaign. Bro I gotta play this
Suddenly Fallon gray including the death of Master Verrada Until suddenly order 66 was issued when Fallon Gray was killed by X one until then finally alive X Two is Alive and he is safe and restore his health he was healed by Fallon Gray a genetic father before he was left him for dead so now X Two has join the Rebel Alliance
The more I see of Battlefront 3 the more it looks like just a remake of Battlefront Elite Squadron.
Elite was made from scraps of BF3. U got it backwards bud.
@coreymckee4844 huh, never heard that before. Neat.
elite squadron ds + psp = battlefront 3 history
Better than most stuff out now
This was the Free Radical Design Battlefront 3, well it would of been if Lucas Arts didn't pull the plug.
Damn, why X-2 and his older brother dripped out like Galactic Marines?
i had elite squadron on my PSP i also had battlefront 2 i had WWE and i had some medieval skelleton game oh and ratchet and clank and dexter i know this is an star wars based video but i saw peoples commenting about the PSP and wanted to relive some of the glory days when the xbox 360 and the PS3 were at its peak or somewhere around that
they could remake the whole thing with a team of modders!!!! We missed out on alot when bf3 was cancelled
this is vaguely similar to the ds version of starwars battlefront
And people said there was no martial arts in Star wars.
1:40 but at what cost?
Also the other Jedi. If I remember correctly that's Vallen Grey? Or someone like that?
this game reminds me of that battle front game they made for the Nintendo ds
Anyone that played Battlefront: Elite Squadron has already seen this!
Better than all new movies combined
Wait a minute I recognize those characters, this is the story of Elite Squadron.
