Bo-Katan is quickly becoming my favorite ever Star Wars character. I chalk that up to Ms. Sackhoff's awesome performance.
She looks fantastic in that Bo-Katan armor and outfit in season 3. Personality came through with the helmet on and while they were in conversation. Fantastic actress.

Love it. So many of these actors don't want to wear masks/helmets because they don't play the character, they're playing themselves. Its an ego thing. But true actors have the skill to emote even without their faces showing. Also not gonna lie, she fills out that suit REAL good.
Never thought a female Starbuck would work but Ms. Sackhoff absolutely owned it. Loved her work in Galactica, really enjoyed her contribution in the animated Star Wars and she continues to rock in Mandalorian. Clearly the right casting choice. Nice to see great actors getting characters they can shine in. Looking forward to the season playing out to see what happens to Bo-Katan.
Key role in "Longmire."
When the previews hit I rolled my eyes and thought "oh lord another cheap gender swap for extra media coverage" then after the pilot I thought "okay wait, OG Starbuck was pretty corny and this is better."
Katee comes through as such a warm, genuinely positive person. Always a bright spot in any show she's a part of (I'm particularly fond of Longmire). Love this interview - and the hints she gives us about events yet to come 😁

Yep, she should be in a good fantasy series, to complete the trifecta, Sci-Fi, Western (contemporary one though), and adding a prolonged appearance (not just a cameo) to a show like HotD, would be amazing, or she would make a good Birgitte in WoT! Having her as a regular on the upcoming WH4K series would be awesome also.
If she had played Captain Marvel, the character would have been much more popular. Sackoff is a genuine athelete too- she does Ironman type events in Hawaii on her blog.

She worked in Vancouver for years on BSG and everyone that worked with her has nothing but praise for her as a professional and even more so as a person. She's the best and I hope she has nothing but great success.
Katee Sackhoff is one of my very favorite people in the movie industry, because she's so humane, big-hearted, compassionate as well as very passionate ; she cares and wears her heart on her sleeves. And she has this great energy of life that's really communicative.
Such a bliss it is to see her as this amazing character that's Bo Katan, in this deeply enjoyable ride/adventure that is this 'The Mandalorian' series... :)

Been following the guy on social media since the era of early Clone Wars (saw an interview and really loved his profound passion for the Star Wars material, and he clearly felt like an awesome human being)... It's so funny cause I was just thinking about that in the Mines of Mandalore, what a particular way of walking she had, how her arms moved by her sides, and how she took off her helmet. It just looked so specific and I thought to myself "that is such a weird thing to notice" 😂

her character has seen it all, like Darth Maul, Ashoka, Obi wan, Anakin Skywalker, Rex, the Emperor Palpatine, the clones, Bo-Katan has met them all even Luke Skywalker
This woman is a gift to the acting world and fans of Sci-Fi especially. She's just awesome in so many ways. Always a treat when she shows up in something.

I have never seen anything that doesn't show how Katee Sackhoff is amazing. From cycle rides with Tricia Helfer and Jay Leno (awesome hair, Katee) to these interviews. And then her acting. I can't imagine how much awesomeness flows from her being!
I love science fiction and the roles that Katie has played in both Battlestar and Star wars . Through the animated stuff to live action. But man, my favorite role is in Longmire. That showed her range as an actor more than anything else ive seen. She is so down to earth. Love Katie. Keep doing you

Loved Katee in Battlestar Galactica and especially in Longmire. It's so amazing to see at least parts of the Star Wars franchise being carried on by skilled actors and directors that are true fans of the franchise.

He tried to make everyone believe that. That's how you keep secrets, in the age of social media. An actor doesn't have the right, to know where the story is going. Voice actors don't even take the entire script home, only their part. Loose lips sink ships.
If the actors knew it was Luke, you would have been able to see them fawning right through the mandalorian armor.

She got to experience that reveal as a fan in the audience. Like the rest of us. Actors often miss out on the joy of just being a fan like that.

Katee is up there with Sigourney Weaver for me. Having a daughter, it makes me happy to know that she's gonna have strong female characters to look up to potrayed by amazing actresses like her. Yes she dominated the screen in the same way when she just a young 20 yr old in BSG. Did'nt look out of place next to Edward Olmos. As others have said - that smile is infectious.

Seeing Katee all glammed up is unusual. I'm used to seeing her in her vlogs without makeup and just wearing normal clothes. She looks great either way and her personality shines.
Can’t help but root for Mrs Sackhoff and Bo-Katan, she comes off as a genuine real person which seems to be rare in Hollywood these days.

Lol that’s a great story. I don’t blame Dave for lying. Almost all of the cameos in s2 leaked except Luke which was quite an achievement. I love that she experienced the reveal right along with us. I’ll never ever forget that episode. I’ve never seen Star Wars fans in such a frenzy. I also liked what she said about Din being a distraction and a nuisance to her. It explains a lot including her attitude towards him in yesterday’s episode. She’s in a rough spot and she blames him for it. I think she’s just all sorts of done with him and the leadership thing at this point.
Have you seen that long reaction video to that Luke reveal episode? It was just as good as watching the original episode itself.

It's amazing how well she got the "movement essence" of Bo Katan. As much as almost all Mandalorian warriors, they are like samurai ("this is the way" Bushido = the way of the warrior), and part of the samurai background is the "economy of movement" for both practical and cultural reasons.
After she said this, you can really see her economy of movement in the show.
Yup, I said it. Bo is setting Mando up when she told him exactly where to find The Living Waters. Her plan is still to take the Darksaber from Mando. That "goodbye" at the end says it all! She even confirms for herself that he still has it.

Im sorry but u just read the scene so wrong
During the scene where he quickdrew on the pirates, you could see the Darksaber hanging on him for like a frame or two. It's just *really* behind him, rather than forward to his side like a Jedi carries their lightsaber.

@@CorvusRedd I loved Longmire I've read all the books. The first season each episode is mostly standalone at first. By the end of the first season the series became more serialized. The acting is pretty good overall and there are lots of cameo appearances from actors from the Series Deadwood. Great series.

3:13 Hey Katee, haven't seen the last season of The Mandalorian yet for different reasons. Your voice acting is great and I know is a reverse jump of media, but I wish you could represent the physical aspects of the character BASED on what has been established in the animated shows, specially TCW. Because these animators have designed a whole set of movements, ticks and mannerisms for her. I always hear Bo Katan when I see you performing, but I never see her. You're doing great, I just wish you'd like to incorporate that. Greetings and congratulations for being part of The Clone Wars. I'm still not convinced about the Mandalorian, but I look forward to see more of your character.

Thanks. I will watch anything Katee is in; because she brings so much to the characters. BSG is still one of my favorite shows. I also like it when an actor plays in a show they are really into. I have seen several interviews with actors who said they never saw the show before getting the part. I like some who feels lucky to be in the show.

I woke up this morning, had some tea. Then I fixed a huge bowl of cereal and watched the latest Mandalorian. Like a little kid watching his show. And I saw the original Star Wars in the theater back in 76. Andor seems more geared for the grownup and Mando is for kids it seems, but they are both SO good. Brings the kid out of me. Katee is amazing as Bo-Katan and all her roles. Starbuck was super slick as a character. I hope Mandalorian goes for a good ride into a movie.

Opening scene Katee with the biggest smile known to mankind - I've always loved her work on OMG dozens of shows and a few movies. I can't think of another actor attached to so many failed shows (much to my heartbreak), and great ones from Battlestar Galactica to Longmire, even 6 million dollar woman reboot that canxed after 8 episodes, I only made it thru 3 but even she could not save that hot mess. 10 years later she looks the same as she did as Dahl in Riddick. She has such scultured fearures💓 very sharp. Playing strong characters suits her well.
Not just "known for playing..". The lady has had many rolls. One of her most iconic, imo, was Dahl in the movie Riddick (2013).

What is so amazing is that this interview came out before her big role in episode 2 of the Mandalorian. She is so active in that episode she essentially takes the lead for the first time in the series. The episode today that came out on Disney+ she really runs the show for the most part. The thing is she is such a good actress it really carries the episode.
