    Thanks Doug! I was just now watching your video again, and see that you have replied to my question. Although it's been a year now, I did not know if you answered questions and yes gentleman like, you did. Thank you! also can I take the front cover where the needle bars are to oil my upper ring pads, I can get to the lower ones, with out taking the whole machine cover off? Hope you understand my question. I also have a Baby Lock Enterprise now and neither time did the dealers tell me to oil these felt rings. Interesting! In other words, can I take the front off without removing all the other parts of the shell of the machine?

      around the 11:09 mark you can do it from there for front cover. Careful not to break the square post off you inside front cover on the left side it sits on a metal post

    Thank you so much for showing how to remove all of the cover pieces! Are all of the set screws exactly alike or should we keep each area separate? It seems you just removed them all and put them in the bin on the stand. Also, do we have to remove all of the covers in the exact order you did? Or, can we remove them out of order? Thank you!

    • @DougtheEmbTech
      @DougtheEmbTech  10 років тому

      Yes there is a certain order to take off and put back on cause of clips in certain areas that can be broken. If you try on your own please be careful. I did video in the order of the way i believe to be the easiest. Hope this helps! I always recommend a professional to service your machine though! Thanks for watching.

      DougtheEmbTech Thanks for the reply! I only take off a few as I need to. I will make sure to be careful and do it in the order you show.
      Have you done a video on the proper way to reinstall the threader on the PR620? I played with the adjustment screws and now it won't line up at all. I know I should not have done that. I had ordered the new part.

      Kim Banta The set screw at minute 2:50 is a different one but all the rest are the same in covers

    Please! I have the PR-650 and do not use it often, but know I have at least 120 hours on it. Is there much difference in the 600. Until I came across your awesome video last night, when I bought my machine new 4 yrs ago, oiling the needles were never mention to me. Do you have to take the whole machine apart just to oil the needles?

    • @DougtheEmbTech

      +Callie Johnson front cover needs to come off to oil the pads for the presser feet upper/lower. This is a very hard cover to get off without breaking the clip that hold it on place. So be very careful if you try yourself.

    Do you have any videos on changing the sensor for x axis home error replacement, and to adjust the auto threader? Also where are you in Florida, do you have a shop? I’m between Tampa/Sarasota

    This is a great video, thank you! I have a PR1000 machine, can I follow along with this video to remove the covers (and your other videos too), or are the machines too different?

    • @DougtheEmbTech
      @DougtheEmbTech  8 років тому

      +Melissa Denbrok I have not worked on a 10 needle as to this day but they look similar. Most likely the same just be cautious in the removal but I think the same

    I can't figure out how to remove the carriage cover, you just show to be careful, but I've tried to wiggle and pull on the right side and it won't come off, my machine is squealing terrible now when it embroiders, I bet it's lint or need oil in there....

    • @DougtheEmbTech
      @DougtheEmbTech  9 років тому +2

      Bea Lee The right side of this cover is held on by a plastic square inside cover you may lift up on the left side and kinda go downwards on right side while gently pushing towards the right it should come right off. Please don't force anything it may break the plastic, be careful
