I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless. I miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together.. seeing this makes me miss her even more I come to this page all the time just to have that nostalgia

Who in their right mind , would give thumbs down to the great Patsy Cline ?
Probably the greatest voice of any female country artist .
A thumbs down for Patsy? What is wrong with that person. I remember in 8th grade we girls would sing Patsy's songs at recess on the playground.
Jerks. LOL
Those people don't have any idea what good music is, Patsy puts "todays" music to shame. Her music will never die.
There are a lot of sad angry people that can't love. I feel sorry for them.
totally agree
Who's still listening to Patsy in 2020 and finding that unearthly voice is of such comfort? I've hit rock bottom yet again this year and it's like her voice can express the pain that I can no longer put into words. Best therapy there is.
I've been so, so wrong, for so, so long.............................
I always listen to patsy, she brings such good memories of me dancing with my dad, some sad ones too, but I love hearing her
I've been so wrong too

You still there?
Hang in there Dawn. I love you. God bless you always.
When I was a teenager I said to my dad: "eh..country music, not my my cup of tea" He`s long gone, but after 2 pints of beer this 43 year old is sitting on a late friday evening and really enjoying this collection. People change, but some things remain timeless :)
To bad your papa couldn't here that.i used to be a raggedy ass rock and roll t shirt narrow minded listener.till I got it.
Morten Muggerud,
" ... enjoying this collection ... "
I hope now that you have gained some appreciation for at least the spirit of country music, if not all of the sounds, you have also listened to Marty Robbins' "El Paso".
There are so many different styles all lumped together under the genre's label "Country Music" that it's easy to find a few songs you'll like, even if the rest really turn you off. Bein' older now helps, too. If you'd like suggestions for others you might like, let me know.
.com.
Agreed!
I'm 66, and I turned my nose up at original country, too. My Pop listened to it and it drove me nuts. Now he's gone, and I'm giving Patsy and Loretta another listen. Pop was right. I miss him so much, but Patsy brings him a little closer. Til we meet again, Pop!
I'm 69, and Patsy has been my favorite voice since I was a little boy. She always will be.
My turn to confess. I am 65 and live in Moscow. Unfortunately I have never heard Patsy before. Now listening to Crazy I am about to burst into tears. All songs presented here are beautiful. Grateful to Patsy Cline for having enriched my life. I wish I had known her decades earlier.
Welcome to a wonderful discovery....she sang so effortless and with such soul. Try George Strait
I love Patsy...
What do you think of, Amy Winehouse, Beth Hart, Bob Seger, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Allman Bros., Eagles, or Skynard?
😊👍
I love patsy listened to her growing up...
Well, there was a time when a lot of popular music was banned from airplay in the old USSR, so no wonder you never had a chance to be exposed to Patsy Cline's music. Sorry that you missed out then, but maybe you're more able to appreciate it now, and that's the important thing. It's still heartbreaking that Patsy Cline died so young, and somehow this song is the most haunting song she ever recorded. Thanks to the engineering gods for the invention of recording music of all genres, and devices to listen to it on. Thanks to that, Ms. Cline's unearthly beautiful voice was able to be made immortal, the only fortunate thing to come out of such a tragic loss.
Tammy Wynettes a bottle of wine and Patsy Cline (Virginia Patterson-Hensley) always a pleasure sweet dreams of a walk after midnight your ❤️ & soul in these ballads will live forever.
When we was in college, my future wife and I used to sit and listen to Patsy Cline sing to us. We were very much in love and her beautiful voice helped to seal the deal. After 59 years,we are still very much in love and still listen to her from time to time. Great talent.

2023 & still rockin to Patsy. What a special lady. Her music endures all time 🌸🦩🌸
Hello how are you doing today?😊
Angelic voice. I wish I would've been born 40 years earlier
Working in a breakfast joint in Austin the 80s, we listened to a lot of good music. But every morning when the crowd started getting bigger the head waitress would put on a tape of all of these songs. Every day. Finally somebody asked why Patsy was getting the heavy rotation when there was so much good music to play. Jill, the head waitress, explained that it was simple: when Patsy was playing, the tips were always twice as good. None of us ever asked again.

I’ve never heard a bad song from this lady. The true Queen of country in my opinion 🇬🇧
"Crazy" was the first song of hers I ever heard, but fell in love with her right then. I think I was almost 10 and really didn't realize she was sining country. Just knew I loved her voice and songs.
@@svhirliwilliams8983 truly, the greatest country music voice ...ever...
Svhirli Williams Same. I don’t really think of her as country, though I guess of course she was. She was just a master. Sweet Dreams is a good movie, too.
I don't hear country at all. She belongs in her own genre called "FANTASTIC".
Was very young listening to her...but could never get her voice out of my mind..I song along, yes the QUEEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC✨✨✨
The 50's are my golden age of music.
This was my mother's favorite . I played this yesterday and she loved it she passed this morning
May she rest in peace, be strong!

Another "Berry" with excellent taste!
I was born in 72, but I have been listening to her all my life, and she is as current as ever. Her voice is ethereal, filled with sultry sexuality, and pain. She knew what love was. And how it can hurt. What a voice. What a loss.

I’m 87 and love listening to her. So smooth.
The great thing is that my daughter grew up liatening to her with me singing along and now she loves singing along with her, too!
I love that you have had 87 years to enjoy.
what's not to love about that bright and kind voice? May all of us walk w Patsy in our hearts
I'm a 59 year old man. I love singing along with her. I know most all the words to her most popular songs. I just wish I could have heard them live.
Heck, I just turned 29 a few days ago and I totally love Patsy also. I have for quite some years. Her voice was/is beautiful and powerful.
My Mother use to play Patsy Cline, while holding me on her hip, and dance with me, when I was about 5 year's old. Mother had quite a voice herself, so every time she would find a place with good acoustics, she'd belt out Patsy Cline lyrics in acapella, such as "I Fall to Pieces", "Crazy", and "Sweet Dreams". Those moments of her, are even more precious, now that she's passed-on.
Now, I'm not a country music fan, but I never thought Patsy Cline was anything other than an exceptional singer. I only wish the recording technology had been better to capture her voice more accurately. As I'm here listening and writing this little note, "Sweet Dreams" and "Crazy" are playing ― Now, Every time someone speaks your name - I fall to pieces and I'm here in tears.
"I fall to pieces, Each time someone speaks your name,
I fall to pieces, Time only adds to the blame ...."
My God, what a voice... !!!
Sweet Dreams of you.! Me walking down memory lane.
You made an impression, good person to remember your mother in such beautiful way.
the raw sound of music of the 50's is what made her voice great ! Studio sounds of today would take away from her strength ! Love her !
My kids cried or yelled when I sang. I bet her kids danced and laughed.
Patsy is my grandma’s favorite singer
Hey how are you doing today…?
You never tire of listening to this wonderful lady ?? 💞 Pure bliss.......
57 years ago today we lost the greatest female vocalist ever. Such a shame. What other gal makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up with just a few notes. Incredible voice.
Russ Ehart she never strains you sing a single note !! I grew up listening to country music from my dad !!! This music reminds me of him !!
My great grandma love patsy cline and elvis presley every time I go over she sings to me or she wants me to sing her. I love it
@hos 46 Every time That I see PIGLOSI it puts me in a bad mood !!!
So,so true and she's still touches the heart so much for eternity.
Russ Ehart 💯👌
Patsy's departure in her prime was tragic and painful. What a gem! She must be singing with the heavenly choir. Continue resting in peace, my sweet dear.
Never got much into country, but Patsy always makes me second guess this genre. Probably the best female vocalist I've ever heard. Heaven is blessed by her presence.
It's not country it's it own music that makes you feel so good
Her voice is absolutely amazing! i remember when my dad used to play her and Roy Orbison all the time and i didn't appreciate it until i was grown in my 20's and they were gone all sadly. But she died almost 60 years ago and i sit here at 43 years old and listen to her because her voice is brilliant and transcendent and will continue to outlast all this garbage on the radio. She was truly one of the greats!!!

I was only seven years old when Patsy Cline died in the plane crash, but I remember how much my mother loved her music. My mom had a record album of Patsy’s greatest hit songs and she listened to it over and over again during the day while she did housework. Next to Judy Garland, Patsy is my favorite!!
Loved Patsy, her voice so full of passion that resounds in your heart as she pulls those notes up and down the scale of A thru G. Just amazing. It is a true tragedy of her untimely death. Her short time of 7 recording years has influenced every country singer from the 60s on to today. Indeed one of thr most influential and first country star to cross over to the top 10 pop charts.
We still haven't found another angelic voice like hers
RIP❤️ Patsy
i agree
as for Country Music ..Patsy is on the top of my list. there are many female artists / singers among the greatest of the 20th Century but so few are in the same league with Barbra Streisand, Karen Carpenter and the great Patsy Cline. I consider that everyone has there own preference. I mean we like or love so many songs it is difficult to eliminate to have just one Favorite or best of all time. When I hear this song by Lulu "To Sir with Love" it too has meaning and it's very touching. We will always enjoy music that touches our soul and deep within our heart. Very emotional and inspiring. It's hard not to love these talented, gifted and influential people who give us joy in our lives. As they depart this world they leave something behind to be desired. Many would love to be taken by the hand and go on the amazing journey of their musical careers. Surely we miss them all and love them just as we do our own family members since we feel they are part of our own lives. Patsy, we (I) love you for giving us unforgettable songs to remember you by. You're beautiful in every way that matters. Thank you.
The only female to even come close is the brilliant Linda Ronstadt.

My grandma gave me a Patsy Cline album when I was a boy to give to my father as a Christmas gift. That’s where my appreciation for her amazing voice began. ❤️ I’m 58 now.
Voice like a bird sing u to sleep ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Her voice was 💥AMAZING💥 and these songs are timeless. “Crazy” and “Sweet Dreams” could each have 50 verses and still wouldn’t be long enough. ❤RIP Patsy❤
I love your comment on Patsy's voice. Yep, Crazy and Sweet Dreams really could have 50 verses, and it's a cinch we'd know them all.
@@beverlyaiglai7052 : Thank you for saying that 💙
Her voice, her vibrato, is addictive. I can't stop the chills in my soul! The universe needed another Alto, in the Choir that we shall all hear sooner, or later.
The greatest, period.
You could actually understand what she was saying and maybe even try to sing a long with her ❤❤
Patsy Cline was one of a kind and will always sing in our hearts!
So true. /:-)
You are right
She's marvelous
Timeless!! Love Patsy Cline!❤
Hey Mary
I Guess you're a Good Country Music Lover ???

I watched the movie "Patsy and Loretta"..... I wish she'd never gotten on that plane!!! She made such an impact on so many, in the short time she was here.....and she continues to today!!! We miss and love you Patsy!💔❤❤❤
How is your day going so far donna..??
Like Sinatra, you instantly recognize that wonderful, distinctive voice. Can listen to Patsy Cline for hours.
I CAN LISTEN TO HANK WILLIAMS ALL DAY LONG. BUT YOU'RE RIGHT YOU CAN HEAR HER VOICE ANY,THAT PATSY CLINE.
A beautiful voice......cut down at age 30 in her prime.....not fair to those of us who are left.....we only have the songs she left us.....I'm thankful for that....
cut down?....she was a party MONSTER
"Not fair?" Whatever. We all die when it's our time. There is no "fair" or "unfair" about it. Also, guess what: SHE died, so she's the one who lost. Stop and think about that.
Bumped off cause she would not turn satanic
vee kay Death is more of a heartache for those left behind. The dead person has no idea. No matter who you are, death is always worse for those who are left alive to mourn you. They are the only ones who can feel the pain and loss and grief. The dead person has no idea. They didn’t notice the billions of years before their matter was put together and were born, and they won’t notice after either.
Ask someone who is dying. They are more worried about their family and children they are leaving behind than about themselves. They know they are not the ones who will have to live with it. It is hard when you know you are dying, yes, but most decent people do not think of themselves first and foremost in a scenario like that. They think of the people they love that will be left hurting and missing them. Maybe you don’t have children or family/friends and don’t understand, I don’t know. But how about you stop and think about that.

When she sing she gives me the best chills

Hello becka how are you doing
I saw Sweet Dreams and fell in love with her pure voice as a teen. She is one in a million.
yeah absolutely I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless..i miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together.. seeing this makes me miss her even more I come to this page all the time just to have that nostalgia
Pastry Cline is a very talented singer and he has these magical voice and lyric that I Love ❤️ her songs will never be forgotten in this world. Since when have you been listening to Cline's songs?
Iam 74 and I have won "Pop Star" on two cruises singing Walking After Midnight. I never get sick of listening to Patsy Cline.
Congrats! You have impeccable taste!!
Right ☺️🤗💞
Pasty Cline's Crazy has graced more Juke boxes than any other single in history...
I was about six when I first heard her on the radio. That was in 60 years ago. I've loved her every since.
Me too
I would give anything in this world anyting to have met this lady I love her with all my heart and soul and years ago when I was a DJ somebody asked me how to describe her voice just someone to someone that had never heard it before and I said it's like being on one of Heaven's clouds and floating
yeah! I get what you mean .. I was born in 1960 and heard many songs on AM Radio in the car. I didn't always pay attention but sure do remember songs from many Country Artists. My parents weren't one for singing songs, we just listen. My brother and I picked on each other often, wanting to lay down and sleep on our long or short trip in the car. If it was a long trip we played with a toy or game of cards also complained we were hungry or needed to go to the bathroom as to make a pit stop on our journey. I was more into children songs and playful stuff at a very young age. It wasn't until I was 9 years old that I got interested in listening to music. Then I started buying 45's and LP's when I was 11 almost 12 years old as I spent some of my money about $6 to $7 a week as a Newspaper (courier) Delivery boy (1971-1976). My vinyl record collection grew when I had enlisted in the US Navy in 1978. By mid 1980's music CD's were coming to life but I had other interests instead of buying music as it was cheaper to record from the radio. I probably had nearly 500- 45's and 200 Albums. I gave them all away about 1996. Too bulky and too many to keep as I started my own family. Today, nearly any song I can think of is on the INTERNET "World Wide Web". You Tube is excellent. Well, Patsy Cline is surely one of the greatest female Country stars of all time or the 20th Century anyways. I also appreciated the dedication show done by Leann Rimes. I just love the both of them.
Me too. If you Can imagine a little boy singing along wiyh her on the radio.
( not knowing what the words all ment)
She was a good person too.

I miss you grandma, I will forever think of how amazing you were to me every time I hear Patsy Cline sing. We will see each other again one day. I love you.
what a golden voice. the people that dislike this have no soul
Maybe in time when they have live a little they will have learned how to appreciate the finer things in life.
Debbie Keefe who cares?? I love these tracks
Attitude is the ONLY thing they have.
You are so right!
Likely rap fans
It was so sad and when Loretta Lynn found out she got depressed and almost had a nervous breakdown they were best friends. Loretta is the Queen of Country but she said so is my best friend Patsy Cline. I love both of those ladies. Now that's what you call real country music. 💯💕💞
This will never get old love it!!
Love this voice. What a gift to all for a lifetime! Best country singer of all time.
