I just bought one on a whim for a lake trip and this little guy is a beast! Lasted the 4 hours we where out there without even charging it. Didn’t even notice the tweeter thing. Even works well enough to mess around on GarageBand over Bluetooth..

From my understanding of how it works is once you have the app installed, it has an indoor and outdoor mode. Once the outdoor mode is enabled, that's how you get the full potential out of the speaker

you buy a complete set of V8 (less than Php1000) or V9 (more than Php2000) sound card and connect it to sound core rave and go for karaoke, it can not do stereo but an excellent karaoke with echo, reverb, bass, treble adjustment
@@christianflores6626 i was about to type the same thing, the xtreme line up now has been going towards clearer sound and deep bass which i like and don’t cause the bass sounds deeper but comparing it to the rave mini, the mini has louder and punchier bass that you can hear and feel better than the xtreme 2 when outside

It's not crazy bass heavy, I believe there are more bass biased speakers out there than this one. Has plenty of bass for me though, Did you see my follow up video review where I play music?

Still going strong, even accidentally dropped it off the top of my work van ~7 feet on to asphalt and it didn't stop, and only a few deep scratches. Been using it for about 20 hours a week in full sun.

So comparing what I'm honestly saying this unit will do, against what other units claim, really isn't fair to this unit. Making noise at a lower frequency isn't the same as accurately producing lower frequencies at audible volume. Just trying to be realistic with my assessment.
Considering the fact that nearly every brand of portable speaker that utilizes a bass radiator saw fit to protect it in some way shows that it is an obvious design implementation for the protection of the product. JBL missed the mark in some simple ways, but if you like JBL then by all means enjoy! 👍🏻
Guy is too cheap to buy JBL, Its so not about the radiators being exposed. Wellington had a hard time getting a titanium drill bit through his charge 4's radiator on his channel, like WHAT???? Is it really took him like 5 minutes to penetrate it
Yea it was just a defective unit I had because I simply went back to Walmart got another one and tested it out before I left the store and everything worked fine because the light is suppose to blink when charging the unit.

It's a little louder than the jbl xtreme, but not quite as loud as the jbl boombox in my humble opinion. Bass is very similar.

The rave mini is far from small, but if you're looking at something a bit on the smaller side then go for the flare plus.

Bass is very good, but not quite as loud overall compared to the boombox, but the specs of the rave mini don't claim to be louder than the jbl boombox

I would honestly say about 40hertz, there's some harmonics that you'll get from it a little lower, but not much.

Not waterproof or water resistant. So I don't consider it, but could be good with other features considered. The HK just isn't for me.
