It's hard to react when someone like cleet calling you and you know everyone will see it. Some of these guys are at work too etc. Being put on the spot makes people act differently. Some guys are naturals on cam and others take some time

@@erikbergstrom258 Thera is a huge difference in load stress on the rear end parts when the wheels are just spinning in a burnout, which is very little, as compared to launching with slicks on a prepped track. It would destroy driveline components.

One day, I was polishing out the drip rails that go over the doors on my 79 Chevy C20 on a 10" spiral buffing wheel. My buddy asked if parts ever go flying..........well, right after that a rail got caught and bent. I hammered it out and it looked pretty good for a daily driver. Years later, he would say "I see a little bend in the drip rail on this side of the truck!" I am ocd and picky, but it looked good enough that no one noticed it, but he KNEW it was there and had to rub it in. I would respond, "You fucker!" LOL I literally laughed when Cleetus was playing with the chocks and teasing Jackstand, and it takes quite a bit to make me laugh.
Yeah poor Jackstand is never gonna live that down and it's fantastic. Only true friends can keep making fun of somebody during a not so smart moment. lol

Saw a guy swear off Ford forever because his F-150 needed a water pump at like 90k miles but when his Chevy needed a transmission rebuild at 59k miles he couldn't wait to tell us about how he got some old man to rebuild it for him for cost of parts and how awesome it was to help with it...dude also liked to huff his own farts though so meh. I thought it was hilarious when his wife finally caught on and divorced his stupid ass. She was way too good for him anyway. I own a Chevy, a Ford and a FIAT-Chrysler product so I don't care personally but Chevy fan girls are the freaking worst.

Ford has made lemons and GM has made lemons. Really gotta evaluate each platform/engine individually. The Panther chassis and the modular engine are one of Ford's best combos however.

As an Aussie my advice is Vegemite is the opposite of boost, less is better. Too much Vegemite and it will definitely blow your head gasket.
So my idea for a suggested video idea for the month of freedom is to invite Jeremy over to your shop and have him Dyno one of his cars. Since you always used his Dyno for your cars, now he can Dyno one of his cars! Also, UA-cam just suggested I watch, a previously viewed video, the video of you and Jeremy blowing up the turbo keychains. What a classic

@@Prestiged_peck I've followed Cleetus's channel since he started and remember when they bought the car for Ed. I honestly never noticed the writing on the steering wheel though. That would makes sense why he has never changed out the wheel.
Go get yourself an injector signal tester. You plug them in place of the injectors and it lights up if the signal wire is working. A universal set should be pretty affordable.
They’re called noid lights
The intercooler isn't just about keeping cylinder temps down - it's about cooling the air to get more into the cylinder with each piston stroke. Ice in the tank should net you still more power. The only time colder isn't better is when you can't get the fuel to atomize into the air.

They didn’t stick the block in it too make big power gains hints why they switched too meth kinda the same deal keep air temps down as well keep the motor cool.. the thing gets abused every time it’s started. But I totally agree with what you are saying but it’s not built too drag race. They built the perfect car too do major burnouts for long periods of time 100%

That 7.3 ain't much better than an LS, it's honestly an LS with a blue oval on the side and an extra 1/4 inch of bore spacing.
That said if we wanna talk about a big block ford, a 6.2 SOHC, or even maybe.. *gasp* ... a 427 cammer? Now those are beautiful engines.
Yeah that be real smart that's what all the race teams are doing. (Said no one ever). I mean big block Chevy for drag racing that's just common sense. But bang for buck will always be SBC or LS.

Hell yeah! Just FYI: pulling the coil is really bad for the coil that you're testing. The energy meant for the spark can't go anywhere because it's not connected to the plug, it'll go into the ECU (and be clamped) or it'll dissipate in the coil. Either speed up breakdown of the coil

Wow 27 psi from a blower, that really kills alot of arguments for turbos. I'm curious to see a price and install comparison for a 850hp turbo vs 850 hp blower.
Turbo is still cheaper
About $5400 for the supercharger setup and since the can fab their own stuff you can probably get 1000hp out of a turbo setup that cost less. Also you won't need as much boost pressure with a turbo to make the same power
Being unable to make lots of boost was never a negative for a supercharger, those top fuel blowers will make 60+lbs of it! The problems with a supercharger are always high parasitic loss and having to physically change parts to change the amount of boost

@@arkhsm they only keep it low for the blower belt on the limiter. They rev higher than that from the factory
Just a tip when trying to hear injectors if your scope wont work using a big chunk of metal (wrench works great) stick that against the injector, over to yout ear and you can hear it perfectly
