I drew my friend and im amazed how beautiful it came out, and how for the first time in years im proud of something i made. Thank you so much.

Hahahah keep going my friend thank you for your help
I’ve been struggling with liking what I draw for so many years (probably around a decade) and thanks to this tutorial (and some Pinterest inspo) I finally made something I’m proud of so I just want to thank you cuz I haven’t felt like this in so long❤
This tutorial has some of magic to it. I tried this method (I am not an artist in any way [yet]) and (with some help from your reference) inadvertently drew an almost perfect side portrait of Miles Morales`s dad that would of been impossible for me without the tutorial. Thank you. This tutorial and my output because of this is a great inspiration for me and could get me serious with art soon. Thank you!
A small thing I have found that I struggle with that your videos really help me with: I find it hard to try and improve my drawing skill, because it often feels aimless, it feels like I'm just doing something to pass the time. The reason I think your videos really help me is because it gives me a short term goal which I can strive towards and not just having to fuel myself with this far away long term goal (although it works for a bit to do that, I find myself eventually running on just it's fumes).
Thank you for accounting for different styles and facial proportions. I’m a beginner (self-teaching) and find a sameness to most of what is produced using standard guideline measurements. I appreciate the flexibility you give.
I want to thank you for your videos. I really improved my art work. I used to just draw without any knowledge of how things work and thats why I was stuck on one point for like three years. Your videos are totally perfect. You don’t just say how it works but you always remind us that it’s okay if we won’t draw like DaVinci right after the video. Thank you.

Wish I kept at it because now I can't seem to draw like I used to but coming across your channel has prompted me to once again try. Cheers from down under. Please keep up with the vids these are amazing to learn with.

Dawg, i honestly had a real issue with looking at tutorials to do art, but after i started watching your vids, it became more fun. Thanks for making those videos bro, wish u the best.
Love your videos. I like that you always talk about different styles and allow people to be flexible with their drawings. Too many tutorials over focus on realism. Which isn't bad, but it made me really unsure when it came to attempting to stylize.
00:30 🎨 Start with a basic face shape and don't be discouraged by imperfections. Practice is key in drawing. 01:25 🔄 Use only two main guidelines for eyes and nose placement; trust your instincts over precise measurements. 02:49 📐 Proportions for face: 2 small parts, 1 big part; adjust for different styles like realistic, cartoony, or manga. 03:45 👶 Important guideline: cheeks extend from ears to chin; remember everyone has different artistic tastes. 05:09 👁️ Draw eyes with a basic shape first, regardless of style, for consistent size and proportions. 05:37 👃 Start with a basic nose shape, adjust for style preference, and get inspired by favorite artists. 06:33 🍪 Starting with basic faces is fine, but use photo references to add uniqueness and detail. 07:30 🗿 Add more details to transform basic shapes into realistic facial features; consider individual variations. 08:55 🔄 Drawing faces from a side view is simpler than it seems; envision a fencing mask shape for the structure. 09:53 👄 Pay close attention to eyes and lips; remember to adjust building blocks for different styles and preferences.
Beginner tip (because I'm far too inexperienced to give pro tips): Stop the video whenever you run into any issues. Then practice that part over and over until you get a decent result. My first pause? "Draw a circle". I drew 10 circles until I was satisfied with the result. It's not perfect, but it's at least recognizable as a circle.

Beginner tip (because I'm far too inexperienced to give pro tips): Stop the video whenever you run into any issues. Then practice that part over and over until you get a decent result.

Thank you so much following you from Egypt you are the best 👍👍👍
