The Doors channel is the official UA-cam home of classic Doors live performances, The Doors albums, and contemporary performances and content honoring The Doors featuring John Densmore and Robby Krieger.
With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison’s poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture.
The Doors’ arrival on the rock scene in 1967 marked not only the start of a string of hit singles and albums that would become classics, but also of something much bigger - a new and deeper relationship between creators and audience. Refusing to be mere entertainers, the Los Angeles quartet relentlessly challenged, confronted and inspired their fans, leaping headfirst into the heart of darkness while other bands warbled about peace and love. Though they’ve had scores of imitators, there’s never been another band quite like them.
Long live Jim, long live Manzarek, long live Robby, long live John, long live The Doors. The best group in history
Thanks!
I bought this in 1983. It was a thrill to hear the graveyard poem. At that time, no UA-cam, Internet, no new JDM poetry collections, only No One Here Gets Out Alive. The MTV doc had been played ('82) but not on video yet. In other words: LEAN pickings! If only we'd known about the avalanche of releases that were coming! - e.g. The Illustrated History book....😅😮😊❤
"Horse latitude" is one of the most beautiful and saddest poems/lyrics ever written. Only a highly sensitive human as Jim could create it...🖤
"Alive she cried, waiting for me, OUTSIDE!
I sure hope this has a lot of never seen before photos.RIP Jim & Ray.
Had this on cassette when I was about 18.
❤❤❤,,Дорз,,короли!навсегда!

I'll definitely be getting that. I have an original and I love the album so it would be cool to have both.
I have the vinyl from 1983, but that emerald record-
Stop the madness, stop the war and listen to the Doors ☮️

Jim And I use our Ouija boards to order pizza 🍕
As much as it's awesome but it's been overdubbed in the studio.Gloria, love me two times. You can tell by the drums and some guitar work.Ive listened to many of the concerts from numerous shows during the recording of absolutely lice etc,and they are totally different..Gloria is a mash up of backstage and dangerous and live at the Aquarius theatre..I'm just saying it's a live album with a few tweeks here and there done in the studio.
