I only have one chocolately fragrance, Cacao Porcelana. Before I tried the Atelier Materi discovery set, I thought it was going to be my least favourite, as I am not a gourmand lover. But to my surprise, it was an instant love, and honestly it's the only gourmand fragrance I need 🖤
Loved your choices. One of my faves is Lait et Chocolat by Chabaud, although I wish it lasted more than half an hour on my skin...they really need to make an EDP version. I'm also a fan of Dolce Passione. Happy Valentine's Day!
I love Guerlain Gourmand Coquin. It's the only chocolate perfume I own. I will have to go dig out my sample of Eris Mxxx. I didn't realize it was a chocolate fragrance and I never really tried it!
Angel muse, very cherry chocolate patchouli are my classy chocolates.. Chocolate greedy is a guilty, personal pleasure (when I want to smell like a mug of Swiss miss.)
I like your personality. You seem very collected. And I really liked how you were communicating with your younger sister in another video, I learned somethings ;)
I like Prada Candy Nights and Akro as well. Honestly, if I want to smell like cacao, I get good quality cocoa butter oils/soaps. I love cocoa butter based oils as a base for gourmand fragrances.
Oh, I adore cacao/chocolate in fragrance! Strangelove melt my heart, Tauer Sundowner, Atelier Materi Cacao Porcelana and Gurelain Gourmand Coquin are some of my favorites. Xerjoff Symphonium is on my list as well, but the price is scaring me.
I’m not into most gourmands, but I do love a good Cacao note. A couple that I’ve tried recently that I liked are Tabac Rose from BDK and Lilac Love from Amouage. I kept getting whiffs of the chocolate/ cacao notes and they kept pulling me in for more!!
The most chocolate I’ve managed to wear so far is a deep cacao note with patchouli, such as Patchouli Nosy Be by PMC. I’m interested in trying their Cacao Azteque as well as I’ve loved everything PMC I’ve smelled. I just went through my collection and I don’t own anything with cacao in it and Patchouli nosy he is the only one on my wishlist with cacao. I’ll have to explore further with your suggestions!
I just tried Cacao Azteque recently. It was totally not what I was expecting!! To me the opening smelled like a mojito (rum, citrus, aromatic notes) and then it dried down into a totally unisex white floral + powdery cacao. So interesting! I'm planning to wear the rest of my sample this summer.
I don't have many fragrances with a cacao/chocolate note. I'm also picky with gourmand fragrances and many fragrances with that note are just cloying or too sweet for me. Still I appreciate the dark chocolate note in Mr Bojnokopff's Purple Hat by Fort & Manle, the rose / cacao combo of 500 years by Etat libre d'Orange, the boozy attractive cacao note in Cacao Porcelana by Atelier Materi, and the powdery / dusty addictive cacao in Belle âme by Les abstraits.
I have the Prada candy night and I love it. I don't really like gourmonds and food smells but that one is nice and dry. You are making me want to try out the Sorriso though ♥️
Happy to see you back with a video Sam! Gorgeous look. I think one of the only frags I have that had a light touch of cacao is the Van Cleef & Arples Orchidee Vanille. I am pretty curious about the Guerlain Gourmand Coquin as it has become quite the unicorn and is spoken of so highly. A few from your list today sound like they could be interesting. I think the Eris Mxxx sounds pretty interesting. Thanks for your video! ~ Jenn
Sssswha...they changed LIDG? 😳 Don't make me cry Sam.... 😆 But yeah, ever since I recommended Sorriso and Dark in a vid weeks back it's seems like they're popping up everywhere! Great to see we have common tastes! There are a handful of cacaos I've yet to try from the Maison Tahite line, but my samples haven't come in yet. Daniel's Wicked Good among them too. High hopes for that one.
I couldn't agree more about January, it's the worst Monday of months. I have Dark too, yes it's the grown up not particularly sweet and bloody absolutely divine 😍 I can kinda get the thing with the ones we have that are too expensive to wear, which is crazy isn't it. Angel has too many associations 🤣. I'd maybe put Noir de Noir there, not overtly chocolate but that patchouli and Turkish Delight rose gives that dark chocolate and red wine vibe
Loved this Valentiney video 🌹 🍫 you’re so classy! I have not gotten into chocolate perfume, mostly because I’ve not found one that translates well… it always smells like fake chocolate flavor. Id love to try these.
Great recs👌🏻👌🏻☺️, Sorriso and Dark I loved when sampling, I think the only chocolate dominant fragrance I have is Slumberhouse Ore which is fantastic, shame about its mythical availability though 🙌🏻
@@MyWorldofFragrance probably vicious Kakao but I love red berries so it’s a no brained for me. They also have kokoa2 that is supposed to be just pure chocolate that I liked. They aren’t very projecting but do last on me.
I know this is NOT niche... But.. have you smelled David yurman Original? It's discontinued now. Gold bottle. I can still find it sometimes online. It's expensive now.. >$250. It's my favorite of ALL PERFUME, to date. I've owned and smelled lots in my 45yrs. Chypre black currant,
My favorite chocolate fragrances are Lait et Chocolat by Chabaud and Guerlain Gourmand Coquin.
What a treat 🙏😍 You are one of the best perfume reviewers!
My favorite chocolate fragrance is Cartier L'Heure Defendue VII. The chocolate in this one is dark & rich 😍
Wow, haven't tried that one. Thanks for sharing! 🌹Xo Sam

I have a decant of that on it’s way to me. I’m not into gourmands generally either, but I seem to really like cacao when well blended.
I feel the same way. Purchased the discovery set and keep gravitating toward Cacao Porcelana over all the others. Mmmm
Cacao Porcelana is lovely! 🌹Xo Sam

I love rococo by merchant of Venice. Delicious
Thanks, I must check it out 🌹Xo Sam
I love Guerlain Gourmand Coquin. It's the only chocolate perfume I own. I will have to go dig out my sample of Eris Mxxx. I didn't realize it was a chocolate fragrance and I never really tried it!
I ❤ Symphonium by Xerjoff followed by Sorriso by Profumum Roma 🥰🥰🥰
Angel muse, very cherry chocolate patchouli are my classy chocolates.. Chocolate greedy is a guilty, personal pleasure (when I want to smell like a mug of Swiss miss.)
Love Angel Muse ❤
I like Santal Majuscule's cacao note :)
Ah, a great beauty 🌹Xo Sam

I like Prada Candy Nights and Akro as well.
Honestly, if I want to smell like cacao, I get good quality cocoa butter oils/soaps. I love cocoa butter based oils as a base for gourmand fragrances.
That's a great tip. You don't have to pay more than the price of cocoa butter 🌹Xo Sam

After your video I think I need to try Dark as well!
My favorite (and only) “chocolate” fragrance is Upper Ten For Her by Lubin. I am excited to try your recommendations of Akro and Eris!
I’m not into most gourmands, but I do love a good Cacao note. A couple that I’ve tried recently that I liked are Tabac Rose from BDK and Lilac Love from Amouage. I kept getting whiffs of the chocolate/ cacao notes and they kept pulling me in for more!!
Lovely! Thanks for sharing with us, Breanna 🌹Xo Sam
To Amo is one of my contenders for this year's Valentine's.
It's just a lil chocolate treat, isn't it 🌹Xo Sam
I’m so happy to see a new video!
Yaaaay! Happy to see you here 🌹Xo Sam
You’re looking good Sam! Chocolate (gourmands in general) are so hard for me to love but I want to get into them. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for sharing, Emily. I find cacao nicely sensual 🌹Xo Sam

Saving for a bottle of Symphonium by Xerjoff. I want to try Dark by Akro but haven't got the sample yet
Yeah, you never disappoint. Another great one. Could you do a list of your favourite gourmands at some point? Really liked your Milky fragrances video
TONKA EXTRAORDINAIRE by Experimental perfume club ( EPC) is probably the most realistic hazelnut praline scent ❤

I love Belle Ame and its gourmand side. It’s amazing.
I have the Prada candy night and I love it. I don't really like gourmonds and food smells but that one is nice and dry. You are making me want to try out the Sorriso though ♥️
So good. I feel like dark chocolate works for non-gourmand lovers too 🌹Xo Sam

Yes, a lovely recommendation 🌹Xo Sam
Solid list Sam, Thank you. I'm going to 2nd the choice of Cacao Porcelana by Atelier Materi. Chocolate without being sweet. So good.
Thank you, Michael. That is a lovely chocolate 🌹Xo Sam
I've been looking for a good chocolate perfume. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks for watching 🌹Xo Sam
Loved this Valentiney video 🌹 🍫 you’re so classy! I have not gotten into chocolate perfume, mostly because I’ve not found one that translates well… it always smells like fake chocolate flavor. Id love to try these.
That's true, chocolate is hard... hope you get to try some more 🌹Xo Sam

Ah, that Slumberhouse... thanks for watching, Marcus 🌹Xo Sam
Wow 🤩 I want Dolce Passione in my collection ❤
It's tasty 🌹Xo Sam
Sam !! I don’t know why if I don’t search for you manually I don’t get notifications if I than all on 🤦🏽♀️
Cinnamon Oud or Chocolate Oud from Toni Cabal
Got a sorriso sample on the way, tried dark but own guerlain l'instant and mxxx
Nice, let me know what you think. Mxxx is a treat isn't it 🌹Xo Sam
Have you tried the chocolate fragrances by maison Tahite? They have 5 in that line.
No, not yet! Thanks for sharing. Do you have a favorite? 🌹Xo Sam

Dope video Sam.
Thanks, friend. Waiting for your next one 🌹Xo Sam
Nasomatto Pardon
Do you like October?
Love October! 🌹Xo Sam
Piotr Carneczki She Shihan. It’s chocolate for me, not coffe or other
Nice! 🌹Xo Sam
You are pronouncing Prada correctly. It is from Spain and you roll the “r” the way it should.
