If this truly is the end of the Guinness Guru as we know it, I really hope your very final episode is a homecoming, get-the-old-band-back-together sort of affair with Culzy. It should just be an hour-long special of you two going around all the pubs in Ashbourne getting absolutely steaming and giving them all 10 out of 10's. That's what us that have been here from the beginning want to see 😂
Ah Darragh sorry to hear your giving up the channel, just want to say thank you for the years of information and entertainment you have given us and best of luck in your future endeavours,Slainte 🍺
Hey Guru! We visited Rathlin Island recently and I tasted some of the best Guinness ever at McCuaig's Bar. I'd give the black stuff a solid 9/10 on a par with Farren's in Malin Head. Delicious!
Jaysus the timing of that Titanic comment wasn't great 😜 Keep at it Guru. You've been a drinking buddy for lads all over Ireland through thick and thin, whether you know it or not.
@RichardOliver yeah I wasn't suggesting he said it on purpose, my point was that the timing was unfortunate (I'm not complaining, it was meant to be tongue in cheek)
I had my first drink in a pub in the Railway bar in August 1981 aged almost 15. Funny but two guys along with me aged 17 were asked to leave for being under age and I was left alone. Great bar and a great memory , but I had Smithwick's and still drink it now aged 57
Literally spent every summer up there. 24 now and have a 4 year old and 1 on the way so I think I’m going to have to start the tradition back up soon. 😂😂
It’s a well known fact that the cleaner the glass is, the more the Guinness sticks to it. A good bar will use a chemical stripping treatment called ‘Resolve’ every week or so to strip all the detergent chemicals that cause a film to build up on the glass after a period of time. Also, that’s surely not a cow on the wall behind you.
@@seanmckillen9090 I've had one in the Rex Bar over there, have to say I think the one I had just before in the Rock Bar on the Falls was a little better.
Crocs n' socks alert !!! Haha. Are folk in ROI bars allowed to wear football tops?! Can't see GAA tops being an issue, but football tops okay in bars??
When next in London 2 bars in Whitton to try are the White Hart & McCarthys (very close to RFU which is the worse & most expensive Vitamin G @ £7.20!!). Both are on a 8.5 for me, pints under £5 & Irish owned.
I havent much of an issue with you spreading your wings, but boy, im here for the Guinness. You could of done everything you wanted, and still do the odd Guinness review. My personally view is that the way youve changed the channel has been too abrupt, where most channels change orangically. Thats my view on this matter.
Could ye not keep the Guinness Guru element going by passing the torch a little? Recruit someone to take the reigns and do the Guinness/pub reviews on your channel whilst you explore other travel/food options etc. You've got the perfect format now for your Guinness videos, it would be a shame to let that dwindle away.

He recorded it the previous week, so had no way of knowing then.

Ahh Bundoran.. this was my holiday every summer growing up. Wish I still had my caravan lol

Do u like the old glasses or the new ones engraved?
Last one in the gravediggers again - it's only right
Pub with the pictures of guns on the wall - definitely the best pint in town he says!
Probably for the best 😂😂😂🍻
love your channel man, keep it up!
Feels like it’s in the 90’s. Welcome to Donegal. 😂
Every pint seems to be €5.50 at least. It's why there's fk all in pubs these days especially during the week.
Good luck mate, cant wait to see what's next
Good luck with the change bigman. 💪🏻
Your spot on .. bundoran is stuck in the 90s 😂 have you ever been to derry bigman , get yourself up for a pint at the geewdore bar.
What was the temperature of that water?
Yes lad, another cracking video, you’re the only person I trust when they review Guinness. Cracking content son.
Very entertaining as always, keep up the good work 💪🍻
And I forgot to say how good the drone footage was, probably one of your best ones 💪🍻
Nest bar by far is the Railway bar...great pints snd great staff and craic..
The emerald bar main street bundoran is the best pint around.
Fancy going a bit regional in England? The Malt and Hops in Chorley Lancashire does an excellent pint. A 9 for me at UK rating scales.
So a 1 in Ireland
😂😂😂🍻
@@JeremyPigeon23 exactly 😅
Chorley lol
@@JeremyPigeon23 ha ha. Yeah probably. I've only ever been to donegall. Buncrana actually and the drift in. That was quality.
Bundoran was once a prosperous/busy sea side resort that died in the 90's, much like Blackpool.
The Kicking Donkey Bar is my go to everytime.
Best sound and video quality so far.
Time to finish on a high in Longford hidden gem for creamers 👍
Gonna miss the guinness reviews
11:30 great editing 😅
Think my type might have to avoid the Celtic marine 😂
Try Durty Nellies bar in Palatine IL USA...if you bored🤠
Hit up the town of Ramelton!

Long live the guru
Passed through Bundoran a couple times ya typical seaside town those pints look sound. That Marine bar looked like an IRA pub
Bundoran is definitely a 90’s town
Spent one night in Bundoran in 2019 and it was an odd town to be fair. Good craic tho!
Chasin bull is a great spot.
If you want to continue the Guinness reviews on occasion you could do a Dave Portnoy pizza style review but with the Guinness.
Great republican town Bundoran 🇮🇪 emerald bar is probably the best G in the town!
Played out now to be honest….Bosh Is the new “wave”. Boshhhhhhhh!!!!!
A 15 year old glass is outrageous 😅
Had one from a 05/06 premiership rugby glass at a spot near me the other night!
If you pour a nitro surge tin into a glass you get a perfect pint 🍺 no joke .. serve well chilled
“Sank like the titanic” well that statements changed in the last week
Why you not go to The Kicking Donkey Bar ????
The only thing I hate about bundoran is the amount of compass jellyfish, they burn.
Titanic refence... Timing.. 😂😂
You should have a pint up the falls and also up the shankill in Belfast lol
They probably don't sell Guinness up the shankill 🤣🤣
@@seanmckillen9090 I've had one in the Rex Bar over there, have to say I think the one I had just before in the Rock Bar on the Falls was a little better.

Does the Celtic marine show the rangers matches?
Why the fuck would it
Aye when the zombies are playing the Hoops ....
R. I. P. Domer. I'll fly the flag in Nottingham and keep spouting the same old shite about pints not being good enough
Do Naas next
