Started watching the Guinness Guru fairly early on, seeing the towns, villages of Ireland and pubs was the big inspiration for visiting from Canada. The channel shaped our route and destinations around the emerald isles. Our group hit 51 pubs found from Guru’s reviews over two weeks while enjoying the history and natural beauty of your country. As touched on, Darragh positive influence to tourism throughout Ireland must have been in multimillions to local businesses. To Guinness as a brand the same, many friends in our local town have made the switch to Guinness when available here. Good luck Darragh looking forward to seeing your future successes in this next chapter.
i feel like he could very well go on with his channel change, but then simply upload a 'best Guinness in'' once every 2-3 or more months just whenever he truly feels like he would enjoy doing it. Even once a year would be awesome
Darragh isn’t giving up his channel he’s going back to doing what he does best. The Pubs we love his channel and Darragh has got great personality so he’s not giving up.Love the interview and love the Irish ☘️.Happy New Year to you all.🎉
Always really grateful to Darragh for the inspiration for one of my best holidays ever, visiting the GG top 10 bars/pints etc in Ireland, 10 days of travelling the wonderful country from over here in the UK. Agree about Dingle, magical!
Darragh could easily be a TV Presenter if he wanted. He has the face, voice and charisma, I also thinknhe could also work in radio but its best if he does his own thing with his own channel.
I was late to the Gurus channel, I was only watching a few weeks when he 'retired'! Love Daraghs personality, he's proper sound. I hope he gets into TV actually, I think he'd be great doing pop culture or light current affairs or something.
I heard that the real reason he retired was due to a disastrous blind-tasting. Someone put a pint of Fanta in front of him and he claimed it was the best Guinness in Limerick.
I'd like to thank Daragh for introducing me to the far-flung corners of Ireland (and their pubs)....though, personally, I think McCarthy's in Castlisland is a better pint in the Kingdom compared to Dingle...but what do I know?!! I wonder if the follow-on channel could be Murphy's Master; where he sniffs out a cracking pint of the much-maligned Cork cousin of the Dublin Debonair?! Cheers to IBYD.
Would someone there tell the Guinness guru “us” Guinness drinkers not only love Guinness but most of us love trying and drinking other beers whether it’s lighter or darker beers. As many like myself just found him and are watching his vlogs.
Followed Daragh since when Cozzy was cameraman. Thoroughly enjoyable content but I guess all things must pass. I'm sure he could do well organising Tours for a fee. 'The Guinness®️Guru Tour of Ireland'.
He said he barely drank Guinness before the channel and doesn't drink most the time unless its for the reviews. I'd imagine hes drank absolutely feck all Guinness haha
You’re missed already, Darragh! Keep safe, my friend. Thanks for entertaining, enlightening & educating us into the variations of the dark red stuff & the differing corners of ALL of Ireland & your quality presentation. You’re some pup, Big Man, take time off & have a rest. You’re a reminder of another Big Irish guy who the world could listen too, all day long, & that’s Eamonn Andrews. SLAINTÈ, Chief! 🍻
Now he hasnt quit look at it this way . He is now the guiness manscaped taste tester. Hes just not letting the creamy temperature shtick escape his lips. Hes launched a new direction Guiness stag tourism." Portnoys complaint" is theres no phillip Roth to share a pizza with. Grand lovely brilliant shtick and creamy , the craic lads no more posturing the ambition.
“Living the dream here”, that’s your first massive mistake, no one lives the dream in Dumplin, it s a shthole. The food is mostly shoite and expensive. And the “craic”? That’s just a bunch of bollox’s talking bollox, give it two months and they spout the same shoite over again. And Guinness? It never changes, it’s either good or bad, but the flavour is just dull in the end.
Darragh's comes across very honest, open and believable and I think that's why he's so popular.
He's a top guy. 💯
Bring back the Guinness Guru 🙏

Prob making no money from it
As a barman I can sleep better knowing the Guinness Guru won’t be turning up tomorrow.
Why? Is your Guinness shite?
Darragh single handedly got me into Guinness. Love the stuff now...
Amazing the way he rocks around with a mic 🎙️ on in all. Always the professional

Charismatic fella. He'll go far I think. Definitely suited to media.

Always when I Watch a Video from the Guru… I Miss Irland 🇮🇪 so much. 😢 Love Irland ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very Intelligent bloke. He will go far no matter what he decides to do. A rare auld talrnt.
Darragh could easily be a TV Presenter if he wanted. He has the face, voice and charisma, I also thinknhe could also work in radio but its best if he does his own thing with his own channel.
Charisma my arse. Borefest

Well alot of comments do say he gives a 100% honest review.
Very mature of you Daragh and I wish you all the best for the future. You've definitely taught me what a decent pint looks like, at least.
Great interview! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Subscribe for more 🙏

Loved the guru show
Great interview
Thank God he's quit he used to have my tongue hanging out of my mouth and dribbling like homer Simpson gasping for a pint it was pure torture
For anyone that is wondering, the pub they're drinking in is the Tolka House in Glasnevin.

today a little piece of me just died.
The Guinness guru and the Heineken Hure in background
My favourite Guinness is the one I'm having now.
What happened was the mrs guru said no...
He said he barely drank Guinness before the channel and doesn't drink most the time unless its for the reviews. I'd imagine hes drank absolutely feck all Guinness haha
The Beamish Guru. The Murphy's guru. Stout lives on. Let's bring it Guru.
You’re missed already, Darragh! Keep safe, my friend.

SLAINTÈ, Chief! 🍻
Enjoy all the content tbh but should definitely do the odd Guinness guru now and then.
Now he hasnt quit look at it this way . He is now the guiness manscaped taste tester. Hes just not letting the creamy temperature shtick escape his lips. TLDR - couldn't hack the black poo
He’s the Dave Portnoy of Guinness reviews
Clown knows nothing about Guinness. He set the page up to be "cool" because everyone drinks Guinness now, including 18 year old because it's in trend.
@@gridone769 lol I realize this now after watching more videos
Good oul chat
Nice fella? Maybe. . A gargle "Guru" no way and his visit to Conor.Mc Gregors pub exposed that big time
I wonder what he thinks of the pint he had there😂
Living the dream in his mums house 😂
Back yo the day Job for poor Darragh
