Yeah, Shadow just outright kills Eggman in that ending. It's also the ending where Eggman somehow convinces Shadow he's an android version of himself. Game was wild.
In this game you could control the CPU partner if you had a 2nd controller plugged in. I don't believe it was ever mentioned either ingame or in the manual or whatever.

The robot Alfred/PaperBoxHouse voices at 28:22 is "Omega."
In the 2006 Sonic fandub that Snapcube also made a video on, Alfred voices him there too (and did a really good job at beiny funny with it). They also did a fandub for this game.
In the meantime, Left for Dead Lythero is a good one
Reminder that I recommend Charriii5’s “Everything Wrong With:” series. He made on about this game a while back and made a sort of remastered version not that long ago. I highly recommend it

Another one of Lythero's videos I personally recommend is called "Super Sonic 64" it's about 4-3 years old. It's essentially him playing a modded verison of Super Mario 64 but you can choose different characters, and can play with your friends.
So naturally he plays with his friends, and it's the best kind of chaotic.
Both parts are fairly short, and they flow into each nicely so I personally recommend watching them in one sitting if you can, but if you decide against it, it's completely understandable.
(And that's if you even decide you wanna give it a shot lol)

Massive amounts of editing. It's the same reason why he hasn't released the Silver campaign of Sonic 06 for years.
So there are 11 endings in this game. But they're all mostly the same with different dialogue
We've got the Kill Eggman ending
The Kill Sonic and the millitary commander ending
The Kill Black Doom ending
And finally the Make an Entire Species go Extinct ending aka the true ending

Even though people knock on this game , and rightfully so in some aspects lol, credit where its due this game had a *ton* of levels, variety, different boss fights and a whopping *10 possible endings* , with an 11th acting as the *true ending* and a final boss fight
This game is silly and over the top, but it was certainly not lazy.
A shame that the method for getting different endings and going to different stages is whack though
I have been waiting for this reaction since you started Lythero vids.
Btw, I tried counting all of the donations in the video, and even accounted for possible donations missed during jumpcuts.
This one stream got over $3,500 in donations at minimum.
That’s more than I made all last year on twitch streaming 4 times a week… it’s for a great cause though so good for him and his wife!

Yep charmey and big the cat are real sonic characters
Charmey is apart of a detective group called the chaotix.
He's basically the young member of the group and the others being Espio the chameleon which is a ninja character and basically the voice of reason and the leader being vector the crocodile. And he's basically a money grubbing dum dum and has a terrible singing voice and he and charmey normally gets the crew in trouble with bad ideas.
And big the cat is basically just a big cat who's not very bright
He basically likes to fish and has a frog pet named froggy
And he usually leaves him and he's always trying to find him when he's not with him
