I was fortunate enough to have managed the merchandise for the Doobie’s on the Minute by Minute tour so I got to hear this song (plus many others) at least 3 or 4 nights a week for months so believe me when I say you all could not have done a better job on this song. Vocals just like Michael, bass lines equal to Tiran and the guitar work as good as Skunk and Pat. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Keith and John (RIP). This is one of the best you’ve done along with many others and I am sure there are many of us that look forward to what you give us in the future and we continue to enjoy your previous covers. Outstanding!!!
Donald the Merchandise gig you did back in the day did you ever run into another Merchandiser named Joe Ward? He did Linda Ronstat, Beach Boys and a few other groups. Thanks 😁👍✌️
@ No I’m sorry to say I didn’t. Touring is pretty fast paced so you’re in a city for usually one day but occasionally another group will come in for the next day so we could meet other bands and road crews. I spent about five years on the road with various bands. It was a time in my life that was very exciting and I will never forget. I got to meet some really great people.
