Congrats on being an influencer! If you are not trying to make a living off of your channel (which obviously you are not), I would follow your gut on the affiliate link stuff - it just complicates things. Your channel is simple, informative, and enjoyable. Just hawk your excellent book - that's what is really useful to folks drawn to your channel. Cheers!
Check the visibility of the readings in sunlight.
I think they have more square one as well, no harm in reviewing useful gadgets - they can revive many cameras with dead light meters.

I've got no problem with people honestly reviewing things, some things are genuinely useful for some people. I've become pretty savvy at working out when people are just putting out a vlog to sneak a review in and of course it can become a slippery slope. As long as its upfront, not ingratiating to the company or patronising to the viewer and it doesn't take over the channel content then see it as a free gift, a little reward for the effort you put in. It might be an idea to remove the address off the front of the packaging though.
Funny take on why they chose you - high production quality videos, etc. haha. Affiliate Links, I believe are too divisive. Some people think they are ok, but to others they are inherently 'shady'.
Some viewers whom have been positively Influenced by your videos, and already have your e-book, may want to further contribute. Underneath the link to that e-book you could say, "And if you would like to make a small donation to the channel, you may do so here __________.." Nothin' wrong with that move. Best Regards
