Ahh, I’m so excited to incorporate Apologia Math next year. My kids will be level 1 and 3. I just think they are going to LOVE the activities and I’m already stoked for the projects. And I love that you are still tying it back to our Creator. Do you have tips for doing math with two kiddos? Do you just stagger the lessons?
Yes to the older kids still needing activities and some fun! It is so rare to find upper levels of math with this included! Thank you for making that important for Apologia math. :) I’m so excited to use level 6 next year!
My son is only in first grade and this is our first year homeschooling but I truly LOVE apologia math and my son does too. We are almost done with level 1 and it has been sooo much fun! I can’t wait to continue through the next levels. I can’t say enough good things about apologia math ❤
At that level I would expect it to take about 45 minutes. Obviously it varies depending on the kid and the lesson. But 45 minutes should cover the skills practice time and the lesson.
Yes, many kids will be ready for pre-algebra. Some students may want to take one more year to shore up some skills, but all the prerequisites for pre-algebra have been covered in levels 1-6.

Yes, I feel like a lot of times we drop all the fun as kids get older. But the older kids want to have fun too!

Yay! I am so happy to hear that. And we appreciate you spreading the word so much.
Ok, I have to ask- will you be writing a similar style book for Pre-Algebra? :)
We are so excited for this release!
About how long does each lesson take in Level 5 and Level 6 for the average child?
At that level I would expect it to take about 45 minutes. Obviously it varies depending on the kid and the lesson. But 45 minutes should cover the skills practice time and the lesson.
What do you recommend after level 6? Are they ready for pre-algebra?

@@homeschoolmathmom thank you!
My 5th grader really loves her Math but I would love to use Apologia Math for the games. Is there an option to buy the games as a stand alone?
No, there isn't a stand-alone option. But I have heard from families that have bought the program just for the games.
