Just a man...a magnificent voice...a microphone ...and no autotune. Back when you HAD to have a voice unlike today when even mediocre singers can be made fantastic with a little computer help...
Just saw Tom Jones on 6 July 2024 in Chepstow 🏴 he is 84 and still sounds the same amazing voice what a performer what a show we had no one else like him on this earth alive today
Tom Jones is 83 years old and his voice is still as powerful as it ever was. I think he's been a panel member of the Voice UK recently. I hope you listen to more of his songs.
Mom was right…right? I was in my 20’s then and everyone wanted to be Elvis Presley (I bet your mom loved him, too), or wanted to be Tom Jones. Tom performed this before a live audience, no special microphone, no cutting and pasting. Just pure talent. Tom is now about 81 and he still has those pipes! In today’s fake music, there are no more Tom Jones, or Rightsous Brothers, or Elvis.
Written by his friend Lonnie Donegan in 1962 Tom recorded this in 1967 ..Elvis Presley ( who was an admirer of Tom Jones) did a cover of it in the 1970's ..In 2019, Donegan's son, Peter, auditioned for The Voice UK in which Sir Tom Jones turned his chair for him. Tom Jones when finding out and taken aback by who he was, performed an impromptu duet of the song with Peter! Well worth watching
No one can compare to Sir Tom Jones 🌟 his voice is absolutely stunning 🤩 he will be 82 in June this year and is still singing 🌟 he still has his powerful voice and still sings with compassion and emotion 🌟
He turned 83 last June (2023) and he and his wife were married for 59 years when she passed from lung cancer in April of 2016….got married at 16 and 17. He is FANTASTIC!
Yeah, Elvis loved Jones voice..riding back from a concert, Elvis heard Green, Green grass of home on the radio, and called 6 times to have it played again..Even Elvis couldn't cover Tom's songs ....
Oh yes, Tom Jones - so good. Now you understand why the ladies were so crazy about him! 😀 He's still going strong in his 80's. He's been a judge on The Voice UK.
Sir Tom Jones in now in his 80s and a judge on the Voice in Great Britain. One of the contestants on the Voice was the son of the writer of this song. Donny Lonergan, wrote this song specifically for Tom Jones and when Donny's son was on the voice Tom Jones and he did a duet.. Even though Sir Tom is in his 80's his voice is still just as powerful as it when in the 60s. There is a video of that encounter on UA-cam.
Love your comments "ya, I can go there but I don't have to ", and, his voice is " medicine " ❤️ He is 80 and it is unbelievable how he sounds the same. UA-cam has video of "The Voice" where he will sing some as he judges.
Sir Tom Jones will be 82 in June and he still sounds great. The Welsh have great voices. More great music from the 1960s listen to The Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody from 1965 and You've Lost That Loving Feeling 1964.
He is 82 now and he is Sir Tom (Knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2006) and singing better than ever. He is a judge on The Voice UK. He had a Number 1 CD in the UK last year. Here is a very recent concert for PBS: ua-cam.com/video/dXvnkp4EuKw/v-deo.html And here’s Tom singing ‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’ live 37 years after the version reviewed here: ua-cam.com/video/p-hVukDfZ-8/v-deo.html
Any body can wrap…..not every rapper can sing like Sir Tom Jones. He is 83 and can still fill Glastonbury and can still belt them out. Green, Green Grass of Home…..and Sex Bomb!
image no auto tuners or gimmicks - from the era of when famous singers could ACTUALLY SING,,, and sounded the same live in person or not ... tom Jones judge on The voice UK
Tom was just about 18 months into his career and I think this was second hit record. He is now 82 and us about to tour his home nation the UK 🇬🇧. Tom’s first hit record is better known to American audiences at least as Carlton’s dance, Carlton in Fresh Prince Of Bel Air dances to Tom’s 1965/66 record It’s Not Unusual!! This song was written by English singer/songwriter Lonnie Donegan who had already recorded it with no success. He invited Tom to his home to listen to it believing that Tom had the vocal skills to do the song justice, the rest as they say is history!!!!
One of the best male singers of that time, there were others like Andy Williams, Matt Monroe, even old blue eyes Frank Sinatra, there is another power singer from the 70's thats Tony Christie, and many more, now the Ladys, Karen Carpenter beautiful voice then Barbara Streisand again One of the best of her time, then Whitney and Mariah in the 90s and early 2000s, the great Celine Dion again the 90s and early 2000s, now the voices of today are Morissette Amon from the Philippinens absolutely out of this World, Then comes Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson even Adele and Ariane, forgot from the 90s early 2000s Lara Fabian, there are even more powerfull female Singers from the Philippinens another favorit is Katrina Velarda but Morissette Amon is the best female singer at this moment in time, you will fall in love with her voice, as smooth as chocolate, try NEVER ENOUGH on 107.5bus Radio station that travels around from City to City with a TV outside and speakers, a great idea, Mori has a UA-cam channel and Facebook Page even Tiktok, now ENJOY your journey through the VOICES of the best Singers out there.
Women use to throw there knickers at him at his performances on stage , could of had any women he wanted, the lucky Bugger 😂😂😂😂 I was 4 when this came out and I knew it off by heart as my mum played it every day
I'm 60 years old. I grew up with Tom Jones music. I still cry and get goosebumps when I listen to his songs today. This one, in particular, is pure joyful talent from the gods. I love Tom Jones and always will. You can do more reactions of his music and I wouldn't mind. Can you please also do some reactions from a new talent by the name of Jonathan Antoine. I get the same reaction to his voice as I do Tom's. Thanks.
Been known as THE VOICE for 50 years…..AND NO AUTOTUNE…….just a microphone…… catch up with your mother. UA-cam has most of his songs….and he is worth $300 Million Dollars!
Please shorten your introduction that leads up to the review of the song. Much too long and it was a reason why I did not subscribe not being critical but I critique.
I truly believe that this is the real music 🙏 I really really enjoyed this ❤️👏
so nice to see this talent being appreciated!
He STILL has that beautiful strong voice at 83 years old today! Legend!! 🥰🎶

This lad is spot on. Toms not showboating or trying to impress with his voice. He,s keeping it real

I was born in 1963 and I love this music along with R&B like the Stylistics. This music never gets old.

Is that a lip sync? I think it is. Best I've ever seen. I've seen this clip probably dozens of times and never realized it until now.

You keep saying without wasting any time but yet you have wasted so much.
