My deepest condolences- I’m so shocked to hear this news and so sorry for your loss. Michael’s content was some of my favourite on the platform and he brought such a warm positivity to UA-cam. I found Michael’s ASMR through his Pokémon Go videos and he was kind enough to add me as a friend a few months ago. We worked all the way up to best friends- He was such a consistent gift sender! I will name my Sceptile in his honour as i think it was one of his favourites. ❤️

It's so extremely kind and generous of heart that Jo Ann and Maria share this with us, and do it in such a touching way. Everyone here on the Vlog will take this with initial sadness, and hard to face. But I think if we think of all the positive contributions Michael made with his work in the quality control of the space satellites, his education of people on science, mineral biology, poker, cars (many other things). Michael was a Renaissance Man. A man of *broad education* who cared about the world around him and improved the world around him. And so many many people (even internet "strangers") who loved him. We have to try to focus on all these positive things Michael did for the world. And that all of the rest of us who knew him, can try to even equal what Michael did to make this world a better place. It's a very high standard Michael set, and we can only try to equal that positive contribution. Much love to Jo Ann, Maria, and all the people that cared for Michael.

I loved Michael. He was the best person ever. We miss him so much. I know he was struggling for many years with that damn cancer. But he never complained about it in the videos. He always loved to travel and have fun and eat good food. He enjoyed life despite the cancer treatments. We honestly loved him like an uncle. What a great guy. What a huge loss. For someone I’ve never met in my life, I’ve been listening to his videos for years and years and now to hear this has absolutely broken my heart. True legends never die, and I say this with all my heart and soul that Michael is a legend, and I know his spirit is out there in the heavens and beyond the stars watching over his family and all his friends. So many nights after work I'd find myself listening and watching ASMR videos, hoping to relax and Michael's were simply the best for me. This is surreal. My stepdad passed away on Valentine's Day from covid pneumonia and we laid him to rest on the 19th. His name was Michael as well. I was a huge fan of this channel, Michael brought me countless hours of relaxation and I will always be grateful. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I've been subbed for about 7 years. Michael reminded me of my father. He even looked like him. My dad passed last year. I'm so sorry for you. I remember when he first met you. Ah jeez, I'm so sorry. I remember when he mentioned he had the cancer diagnosis, then seeing recently he was doing less videos I was hoping he was ok. I have lost 3 family members to cancer, it is a horrible disease. Sending my thoughts.
I just want you to know that whenever you feel down or sad, remember the good times, it is ok to laugh. AND be so proud of him when you think of all the peace, calm and happiness his videos brought everyone.

I just saw this. I am so sorry for the loss of your loving husband. I absolutely loved Michael's videos. His voice was always comforting and he created such unique content. My father passed in 2020 at the age of 66 due to cancer. It is a terrible disease. My heart is with you and your family. As for his "internet family," we'll always have his ASMR videos.

I've been listening to Michael for years. I first came across one of his auto magazine video talks and his stories of driving through different regions of California and I was immediately hooked. Michael had a way with words and every video he made you truly felt his presence through his videos. Eventually I ended up coming across his ASMR Theology videos where he talked about his walk with Christ. I was so touched by his deep knowledge and ability to convey God's word through his videos. Some days I would just listen to him while I worked to learn more about the Bible. Michael gave me peace and helped me relax during some really stressful times in my life, and I will dearly miss his calm and soothing demeanor along with his clever jokes. I think part of the reason Michael resonated with so many people and came across as so relaxing and soft spoken was where he was at in his life. He seemed at peace and content.. I think the reason he made these videos to give back, to help others and share his wonderful stories and experiences with the world. I'm so saddened that I won't be able to hear him share more of his stories and experiences, but I'm thankful for the ones he did. My grandfather had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and my grandmother had Large Cell Lung Carcinoma, so this definitely hits home. The way Michael spoke about both Jo Ann and Maria was with so much love and support, even someone who had never met your family could feel it. I'm glad you two were by his side. I found this channel several months ago and have been watching the videos. I knew Michael had already passed from seeing this video title but have not watched this one until now. I came to check up on Michael and Jo and was stunned when I saw this video. Jo Ann, I'm so sorry for you and your families loss. Michael was an amazing person & ASMRtist, and I could tell just how much you loved him, and how much he meant to you. Just know he was aware of just how much you loved him, you could see it in the way he talked about you and smiled when looking at you or talking about you. I lost a best friend almost three months ago now, so I understand what you're going through. Greif is awful, and it doesn't go away, but I know you're strong and amazing and can get through it, one day at a time. I can't thank you and Michael enough for how much you've relaxed me through the years. "One day, we will remember how lucky we were to know their love, with wonder, not grief." Cherish those memories with him, all the time you got to spend with him, and please remember that he loved you deeply until the end.

I just came across this video. I remember watching Micheal’s channel a couple of times over the years but every time I was astounded by how soothing he was and how he seemed like a very good soul. Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear that. I only found his channel a short while ago, but he was a very fine asmr artist. This year has not been kind I have found, I have lost 2 cats to illness in January, and now this :( Heaven has gained an angel, and I hope you can find peace. He's watching over you.

True legends never die, and I say this with all my heart and soul that Michael is a legend, and I know his spirit is out there in the heavens and beyond the stars watching over his family and all his friends. So many nights after work I'd find myself listening and watching ASMR videos, hoping to relax and Michael's were simply the best for me. I will miss him dearly, I'm crying as I'm typing this and I have not cried in years. I wish I could hug you all right now. I will pray for you and your beautiful family. This is surreal. My stepdad passed away on Valentine's Day from covid pneumonia and we laid him to rest on the 19th. His name was Michael as well. I was a huge fan of this channel, Michael brought me countless hours of relaxation and I will always be grateful. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Michael will be greatly missed, may he rest in peace.

Thank you for the update. Back in 2016, Michael's channel was the first time I was introduced to ASMR. It changed my life. I've quietly been watching his videos, but have never left a comment. Ah jeez, I'm so sorry. I remember when he mentioned he had the cancer diagnosis, then seeing recently he was doing less videos I was hoping he was ok. I have lost 3 family members to cancer, it is a horrible disease. Sending my thoughts.
I just want you to know that whenever you feel down or sad, remember the good times, it is ok to laugh. AND be so proud of him when you think of all the peace, calm and happiness his videos brought everyone.

I just saw this. I am so sorry for the loss of your loving husband. I absolutely loved Michael's videos. His voice was always comforting and he created such unique content. My father passed in 2020 at the age of 66 due to cancer. It is a terrible disease. My heart is with you and your family. As for his "internet family," we'll always have his ASMR videos.

I've been listening to Michael for years. I first came across one of his auto magazine video talks and his stories of driving through different regions of California and I was immediately hooked. Michael had a way with words and every video he made you truly felt his presence through his videos. Eventually I ended up coming across his ASMR Theology videos where he talked about his walk with Christ. I was so touched by his deep knowledge and ability to convey God's word through his videos. Some days I would just listen to him while I worked to learn more about the Bible. Michael gave me peace and helped me relax during some really stressful times in my life, and I will dearly miss his calm and soothing demeanor along with his clever jokes.
I think part of the reason Michael resonated with so many people and came across as so relaxing and soft spoken was where he was at in his life. He seemed at peace and content.. I think the reason he made these videos to give back, to help others and share his wonderful stories and experiences with the world. I'm so saddened that I won't be able to hear him share more of his stories and experiences, but I'm thankful for the ones he did.

Michael had such a wonderful sense of humour in his videos and he has helped me so much in getting to sleep when others couldn’t. My grandfather had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and my grandmother had Large Cell Lung Carcinoma, so this definitely hits home. The way Michael spoke about both Jo Ann and Maria was with so much love and support, even someone who had never met your family could feel it. I'm glad you two were by his side. I found this channel several months ago and have been watching the videos. I knew Michael had already passed from seeing this video title but have not watched this one until now. I also just watched the memorial video. I am very sorry for your loss Michel seemed to be a good man and the two of you clearly meant to be together. Michael's videos have been helpful to me he truly did have a "soothing" voice that helped to calm and relax me to sleeping. I came to check up on Michael and Jo and was stunned when I saw this video.
Jo Ann, I'm so sorry for you and your families loss. Michael was an amazing person & ASMRtist, and I could tell just how much you loved him, and how much he meant to you. Just know he was aware of just how much you loved him, you could see it in the way he talked about you and smiled when looking at you or talking about you.
I lost a best friend almost three months ago now, so I understand what you're going through. Greif is awful, and it doesn't go away, but I know you're strong and amazing and can get through it, one day at a time.
I can't thank you and Michael enough for how much you've relaxed me through the years.
