The thing I like about Billy Mack is how brutally honest he is. He has no filter. You either like him or you don't. There is no middle ground. I wish I could be as honest as him.
I wished they had gone into a full mockumentary of Billy Mack. Booked live shows where Nighy would perform as Billy, with interviews with famous musicians telling (fake) stories of their involvement with Billy, etc. It would have been fabulous.

This is the GREATEST line ..ever. I say it to my daughters whenever we disagree about something. The line "Don't buy drugs" does not have the same impact. Love this movie.
Except that even in 2003 no one cared about the radio number one hit of the year... Bill is fantastic, as a washed up has been he has no reason to be a suck up or lie about things any more. Shame a few more Rock Icons couldn't do the same... or maybe they do and they end up on the editing room floor. Great work Mr Nighy... part of a very good movie you still stood out as some of the best parts.

Bill Nighy is absolutely marvellous. He is just fantastic in Love Actually but all his other films are just the best.
