Hi Lisa, when I worked in packing houses we had platforms like your console top to stand on to prevent leg fatigue and hip strain like we'd get from standing on metal or cement.
I am an avid thrifter so I have "struggled" with getting stuck-on price tags off without glue residue...learned windex sprayed on adhesive price tags is secret to taking off those labels immediately.
Liiiiisssssaaaaa!!! I love your thrift store finds! I would have bought almost all of those. (I'm having thrift store envy.😂) What a score on that table, too. 👏 I also love the Family Bible and the driftwood piece from your Mom. Tfs! Xoxoxo
Thank you Debbie!! I saw your video and you're right about pulling in the reins on shopping. Sometimes I can't control myself when I see a good deal! LOL! XOXO
Table is really cool. I am such a sucker for architectural elements and scrollwork too. I love those wrought-iron pieces you picked up.....I had found 2 wrought-iron urns at a thrift store. They weighed about 50lbs each. I was able to get them into my cart and I could barely push it. It was quite comical.
I love all of your pieces and they way you styled them! The wooden corbels would look good up in the corners of the beam behind you . Btw... I’m from Spartanburg.
To each their own on decorating but those last pieces you thrifted were not gawdy, I have pieces like that in my home. I prefer classy over the look of living in a barn. I did enjoy your styling of the shelves which fits your home nicely.
Omg, I love all of the items you picked up, and girl, you accessorized everything beautifully. Back in the day I used to watch Days of Our Lives, made me laugh! 🤣 TFS! Xo ❤️👌
You have a cat!!!!! Seriously, cats are my world! I rescue, bottle raise, tame ferals. My old man says I have a sign on my ass that all cats can see that says SUCKER!!!
That table is so unique!
Great segment...you always have the best ideas!
Love the table, so unique!
Thank you so much!!
You hit the jackpot😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

"Like the sands through an hour glass, these are the days of our lives." Think we watched the same Soap?? lol! Geez, that was long ago....

I would repaint those last things, use them hanging on the wall as places for my orchids!
Oooo great idea!!!
I think that table top is something to do with scaffolding

I actually have 3 cats. They are rescues too. I found them around my property when they were kittens. Best cats I’ve ever had. Love them!😻
Not suppose to stack stuff on top of the BIBLE
Amen!! It's displayed on top of the table by itself (nothing on it). 😉
@@southernyankeedesigns1419 i saw where you put it. The table is beautiful and looks great behind your sofa.
