I figured out, since my very first Kanej edit was uploaded back in December last year, that I should just edit another one since I got inspired. Which is very easy for me when it is about Kanej, apparently.
I have been looking forward to use this song for such a long time and after reading the duology, I just felt like this song represents strongly Inej feelings towards Kaz. I actually wanted to wait a little longer to use it for them to get more scenes but I just couldn't wait. So I kinda worked with both of the actors' scenes from other shows and just put them together to kinda show their background story (I SO hope the show will give flashbacks at some point because I mentally need those scenes to see on screen) and I also decided to go into the [SPOILER!] "Inej gets captured by Van Eck because Kaz made the mistake to show Inej is the most valuable thing to him in the worst moment"-arc that gets very important in "Crooked Kingdom". (Also Inej thinking that Kaz would dismiss her if she loses her skills and convincing Van Eck with her fear because she truly believes it herself just got me. That scene hit hard. Even more so because Inej was so wrong at that moment since Kaz would have done everything to get her back alive. Once the show gets to that part, the angst will be SO GOOD. :D)
So I should shout out that I mixed up show!Pekka as book!VanEck to use his scenes as what Van Eck does to Inej in "Crooked Kingdom" since we don't have any scenes with Van Eck yet.
I also recently got an idea for a Modern!AU with Kanej as childhood friends growing up together because I saw some episodes of "Resident Alien" and two of the kids looked exactly like a younger version of Kanej, it was adorable. But then I also would need time to go through Carter and Suman's modern shows and that would take time. But the idea is there. ONE DAY (maybe)! :D

I swear that I got chills from the beginning to the end, literally chills, GOD IT WAS INCREDIBLE AND SO FULL OF EMOTIONS AND THE MANIPS/AU SCENES ARE SO CRAZY, when he took her from the Menagerie, with Pekka Rollins, and the idea with the book there, I'm actually reading the books right now, the first one, so it hitted right into my feelings, they are such an incredible relationship and this edit just become one of my favorites ever for them, you're so GOOD at editing them, Sarah, it's crazy, I'm so so so so so in love! Wow! It is so perfect in every aspect! I really love this video! Probably your best Kanej edit yet! I love the manips so much, and they look very real! I love how you arranged their real scenes and voice-overs also! It all looks and sounds so amazing! And I love Inej's fighting scenes for that part of the song you used, and it looks just so cool! And also how you put together the whole her saving him scene with all those quotes... Wow! I'm truly impressed! So so happy, you made another Kanej edit, I missed your edits of them, they're always so perfectly edited. I kinda thought, people couldn't do anything unique with them anymore, since there are countless videos of them out there, that was the main reason, that I never edited them. I just thought, I couldn't come up with anything new, but you literally succeeded to arrange their scenes and voice-overs in a way that is still unique, even after these many videos of them everywhere. I also totally love this song, never heard it before, but you just have such an incredible taste in music, that most of the songs, you use, I end up downloading. In case I didn't know it originally, like in case of WT songs for example. Btw, I'm still not over your original characters video, I just watched it the other day, and I'm still pretty amazed! And I'm pretty amazed by THIS video, too. Your talent is basically limitless. WOW! I will keep comig to this one, as well. I know. And btw, I love the quote you wrote in that comment. It sounds so cool. Now I can say, that I'm pretty sure that I won't read the duology, even tho, I really want to, but I can't. I don't wanna talk about the reason here, but anyways, can't wait for the show to continue, and see more of their story! Btw, I know, that you really love them in the show, and I love them, too, in the show, but there is just one thing, that I really wanted differently. And it's just that because of the time limit the show has, their relationship isn't really explored or written as deep as I thought them to be by your videos before. And also, this video shows it, like it is super deep, but in the show, it's not as much. I love the basics, but I would need to go deeper. Like, what I mean for example is, that when Inej killed that man to save Kaz, she moved on very quickly and they didn't explore it how much it actually meant to her. I hope, you know, what I mean. And I'm pretty sure, that the book version of them is deeper and more explored, and maybe as the show goes on, it'll be that way in it, too, but idk... First I was afraid to tell you this, because I know how much you love them both in the show, and the books, and don't get me wrong, because I love them, too, and especially in your videos. I just wanted to share with you this little criticism I have of the show, but it is true to every single couple in it, it's just the amount of time, I guess, otherwise it'd be really amazing, and overall, I loved the show, I just wanted more, but that's exactly because I like those dynamics. Except for Darklina and Malina. Well, basically only Kanej and Helnik, but still, I loved both relationship so much, that I really wanted more. And I also really love the 3 crows all interactions with each other. They were so badass together. Anyway, back to this video, I think, I've done a really poor job of expressing how much I love this video, but trust me, I really do! I can't really pick fave moments, because it's hard to convey it the way it is. I mean, like one scene and one voice-over is always connected to the next ones, that's why it's hard. But trust me, I DO REALLY LOVE IT!!!! And I'm gonna watch it again. And I hope you don't mind what I said of the show and how this ship was portrayed, I just felt like discussing it with you. But anyways, I wanted to let you know, that this video is a masterpiece, and everything looks so real! And I wish to see the scene, that is written in your comment. And I also love the quotes and lines they had in the show, I love the story the writers came up with for them, they just deserved more screen time. I think, it'd be better, if the crows and the duology would have its own show, and I wouldn't really bother with Alina and stuff, lol.
