    I've the same at home, rubbish at cutting chips. I feel the machine bending when using it and sometimes spuds jam in it.

    ACTUALLY....
    If you want the potato to get out of the cutter easier you should point the ROUND part of it towards the blade and NOT the FLAT part.
    If you know anything about physics that is.

    The problem with this machine is that they use hollow rivets which are fine for fixing pockets on jeans, but are useless on this machine !!! I removed all the rivets and replaced them with machine screws, washers and locking nuts. The machine is infinitely better and is very rigid and cuts perfectly. Everyone complains that Stainless Steel Chip Cutters bend and fall apart !!!! They would not if you were to use solid steel rivets !!!!

    I have one just like this and everytime I go to cut some frys with it the damn blade just comes off and its not supposed to and it also bends the the whole machine so IDK if it's the machine itself or maybe it could be something else so please let me know what it really is Thanks.

      @DailyCoolGadgets  Рік тому

      I think some potatoes are just had to but. If you find it hard to cut with a regular kitchen knife then it will be even harder for this little machine. I found some potatoes that work perfectly and others that don't because of their hardness.

    • @DailyCoolGadgets
      @DailyCoolGadgets  3 роки тому

      Indeed. If you need to process a lot of fries each day, better to have it attached to a wall with a bucket underneath so you can just put a potato in and have the sliced potato go directly in the bucket.

    I wonder: would you rate this particular slicer as suggested one?

    • @DailyCoolGadgets
      @DailyCoolGadgets  3 роки тому +3

      I would rate it 5 out of 5 because the price is very low compared to other professional slicers. It is a bit flimsy, but it does the job and it's very cheap.
