Hahahaha, that’s why the carts have 4 wheel steering.
I just have fun taking their mannerisms and tweaking them and then putting it right back on them.
The most important thing is to not get too excited !

Back when I was working I always did grocery shopping early in the morning because very few people in the stores, now that I’ve been retired I go later in the day so I don’t run into people I used to work with ( I was a bread delivery driver for about 20 years)

The huge problem is that most storesand malls dont open until 10AM. The BEST dialect to learn is Tagalog, it will get you by on every island.

We are planning on moving back to the Philippines in about six months. You really perked up my ears when you mentioned Melon Bank. If I understood you correctly you are able to deposit money into Melon Bank and it is automatically moved to your dollar account at BDO. From what I've known about before, that is really a new way of getting money to the Philippines. Is there a cost and how does the process work? I suspect there are many that have no idea about this. Most of those I know of use Wise or similar groups that charge a fee plus cut the exchange rate. You might consider doing a Vlog on this.

Make sure keep you money abroad. Use schwab to get money from any Philippines atm. and by the end of the month schwab return your money back.

BDO if you maintain a balance of 50,000 pesos you can request the Diamond Rewards card. Show this to the security guard and you go to the front of the line. Just tell teller who greets you that you have the card and the transaction you want to do. She should tell you counter to sit at. You’ll be in and out in 10 minutes.

I have just learned that a few days ago. As I become more regular I’ve noticed they move me thru pretty quick.
