50 years ago on September 12 1972 I gave my life to Jesus, I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. I was 18 years old. I want to thank the Lord for his amazing grace, his unconditional love and his faithfulness into my life during all these years. As Dr. David Jeremiah said in one of his sermon: "In the past I have been saved from the penalty of sin. In the present I am being saved from the power of sin. In the future I will be saved from the presence of sin. " Amen ! We are living at the end of the end time. Jesus is coming to rapture the church anytime. We born again Christians are going to be taken with Jesus before the tribulation. Amen ! Come Jesus come !
When Our Lord and Savior returns for us, it will be like a thief in the night. Accept Him as your Savior and be ready. These are very challenging times with many events unfolding around us.

They don’t need to show talk or prove regular scripture. I trust them. I just use common sense ...... but not everything is in the Bible so we can relate to logic.....
A priest in Kautokeino ,Norway was attacked by doctors in Kautokeino in newspapers and even convinced the bishop to criticise the priest and suspend him. Just because he talks and reads from The Bible. Doctors and police have nothong against traditions of men , but reading from The Bible then you are in psychotic trance . a threat to public. Even here in a small corner of the world when a norwegian comes and is priest reads and talk out from The Bible then that exposes the false teachings what indigneous people have been victim of. Norwegian government have misused The Bible and word of the God to steal our land.
Pastor Skip Heitzig's sermon was what I needed to hear. Keep your eye on the sky and your hand to the plow. I agree with him that if Christ returns in 2021, God willing I'm ready! So ready to leave this horrific world! I will listen to Pastor Skip, again!

The cool thing Kimberly, is that God already knows you, so it’s up to you to call on Him now and start inviting him to your life. In 2008, I started listening to Pastor Skip’s online sermons and would also attend on Wednesday night. I also started reading the Bible on my own and asking God to please guide me and help me to understand his word and to just use faith to apply his word. Try to search his past sermons and listen to them while you read his notes he provides as an attachment. It’s super helpful in helping you understand the Bible. Just start talking with God, it’s easier than you think! Of course, if you can attend in person it will be cool to be in a room with other people, some new and old believers, or just curious people; my point is to be around others may be helpful ... I use to listen to Skip a lot when I was in my 20s. I don't know what happened did he go off the radio? Somehow I lost his ministry. Yesterday when I put UA-cam on a very familiar voice began to speak. I thought to myself I know that voice, Skip No Way! To my surprise it was skip!!! 🥳🥳🥳 Wow! After all these years!! I think his question is whether or not we’re living in the “latter days.” There are many passages about the latter days in the Old Testament. Moreover, there are three chapters in the Gospels the reference the latter days: Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. These passages all refer to the “beginning of sorrows.” After carefully studying these passages, I came to the conclusion that these aren’t the latter days. However, I believe that God will use the pandemic for his Glory. One of his uses for the pandemic is to shake the nations, but more importantly the pandemic has shaken the foundations of eve church. Ultimately, the pandemic is a call to get our priorities straight and get in alignment with His purpose so we can do his work.
Theres a lot more passages that refer to the end times. Timothy, Daniel, Revelation, Zechariah. If you think were not living in the end times you need to seriously brush up on your eschatology.
@@GhostMonkey772 I have trouble understanding the symbols that are embedded in the end times passages, due to intellectual disabilities. I would agree that we are seeing parts of Timothy’s passage on the end times being fulfilled. However, most of Revelation hasn’t occurred yet because we are still in the church age. Moreover, the symbols of the end times that everyone will see: the great falling away, the revealing of the man of lawlessness, and the abomination of desolation also haven’t occurred yet. In order for the abomination of desolation referenced in Daniel 9:27 to be fulfilled, a third temple has to built in Israel. Only after the temple is built can the abomination of desolation - perpetuated by the antichrist - occur. The fulfillment of this prophecy will usher in the great tribulation.
@@doraashby Well you know a lot actually. Think about humanity in the last 100 years. We have seen the re establishment of Israel as a nation. That is a 2000 year old prophecy found in Ezekiel. Many refer to this as the Figtree generation. Knowledge has increased and moves to and fro about the earth. This is a passage found in Daniel speaking on the end times. In the last 100 years we have the automobile, the plane, the internet. Prior to this we had horses. There is now nuclear power enough to destroy the entire earth 10x over. "As it was in the days of Noah so will it be in the last days" just like Sodom and Gomorrah. We see a perversion of Gods word and increase of homosexuality. Then we see Timothy's passage fulfilled beware in the final days perilous times will come. We also see climate change on a rapid scale breaking records constantly. Strange signs in the heavens. Scoffers saying where is the promise of his coming for all things continue as they have from the start. You can see the preparation for the third temple also. Also the technology leading to the mark of the beast currently exists. Were also in a worldwide plague. There are also wars and rumors of wars and rumors of ww3. Christian persecution is at an all time high worldwide. We also see the shadows of global governance and a push for unity between all religions. The signs are everywhere.

The fact that Jews are planning to build a third temple is encouraging, however, there is currently a mosque where the temple should be. The presence of the mosque is preventing the temple from being built, but this prophecy like all others in the Bible will be fulfilled according to God’s will. Moreover, the fact that knowledge I agree that because knowledge is available via a simple Google search the prophecy in Daniel has been fulfilled. The explosion of technology is also a sign of human ingenuity. The increase of homosexuality is both a fulfillment of the phrase “in the days of Noah” and a result of the fallen world we live in. The fulfillment of Timothy’s prediction is a testament to the me centered world we live in today, however, the passage in Timothy could also be seen through the lens of the regeneration that happens at salvation. Climate change is a result of our refusal to take care of the environment God has given us. In the Garden of Eden God asked Adam and Eve to be be good stewards of the things he had given them. We have failed to be good stewards of the environment and have used it for selfish gains instead of God’s glory leading to climate change. If by signs in the heavens you mean: the sun and moon being darkened, the moon turning to blood, and falling stars I haven’t seen those yet. But if by signs in the heavens you mean planetary alignment and solar eclipses we’ve seen these recently. I have trouble recognizing the signs of a one world government and religion, could you elaborate on those signs. Moreover, even though the technology for the mark of the beast is available, the beast/antichrist must be revealed before the mark can be distributed. This might not be related to end times prophecy, but there is a large number of people ordering the New Testament in Israel. This is a sign that Jews are understanding that the Old Testament speaks about Jesus and the prophetic significance of Jesus’ genealogy, life, death, and resurrection. The persecution of Christians who follow and teach the Bible shouldn’t shock us because it has always happened. A part of the reason biblical Christianity is being persecuted against is because it’s teachings aren’t what the world wants to hear. We are called to rejoice when being persecuted and love those who persecute us. Suffering persecution is a powerful way to mimic how Jesus lived. I’m not sure of this is a sign or not, but there is a large number of people ordering the New Testament in Israel. This is a sign that Jews are understanding that the Old Testament speaks about Jesus and the prophetic significance of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

I've been looking for a new "internet" pastor over the last couple of years as my personal preferences have slowly declined or died off. As one who sees himself as a mature Christian and claiming truth of the Word, I think I have found him after listening to Pastor Heitzig several times. Thank you, Skip. God continues to provide we Christians not only guidance but counselors each generation. I am very much impressed with the workings of this Church, and God willing one day will accompany them on a trip to Jordan to assist at Tall el-Hammam - the initial reason I "found" Calvary Church. I certainly need to hear it, because I’m a new Christian and I came to the faith because I could see that indeed good and evil are real, and as a recent college grad, I saw that the sick academic theories forced down our throats in public universities have thoroughly corrupted our social behavior and govt policies. That is evil, and even I as an atheist could see that. This realization pushed me to Christ.

Thank you Pastor Heitzig. Your message helped me overcome my fear of the end times. I know there is no need for me to fear these things because I have placed my faith and hope in Christ. I came to faith in Christ on January 6th 2019, and haven’t looked back since. I plan to serving my Lord and Savior in accordance to scriptures regarding the limits to the service of women in the church. Your message has prepared me to stand up for my faith during these complicated times in hopes of showing others what Jesus has done in my life. If skeptics are willing to hear my salvation story. I hope that by hearing my testimony skeptics would realize: their need for Jesus, the power of repentance, and the forgiveness of God. I hope that these realizations will help skeptics come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I agree with your statement that the end times began at the ascension of Jesus Christ. However, I don’t believe that we’re in the final days of history, because the “fullness of the gentiles” hasn’t come in yet. The apostasy you described in this teaching is foreshadowing of the great apostasy described in the New Testament. I agree that our focus should be on Jesus while we “occupy until he comes.” Your teaching helped me connect the Old Testament teachings about the “Day of the Lord,” and the New Testament teachings of Jesus and John in Matthew, Mark, Luke and Revelation. Thank you for explaining this in a away that alleviates my fears. However, I have a question regarding praying for the salvation of others. Should I continue to pray for the salvation of others or is it too late for them to accept Jesus as their savior?
Why would you think it is too late for others to accept Christ as their Savior? Jesus may not return for another 2,000 years. As long as you're in this world, witness to others about being Saved by Jesus Christ. I am hoping for Christ's return soon though. Blessings to you

I understand that it’s not to late for people to accept Jesus as their savior. I pray for Christ’s return every night. However, I understand that God has a plan and only he knows when Jesus will return. Moreover, Jesus tells us the signs of his return in the first three Gospels. When we begin to see these signs we have no need to be afraid because we’re one step closer to eternity with Jesus in the New Heavens and New Earth. As Christians we are instructed to “get our houses in order” and prepare for His return. This preparation is spiritual and not material. Thank you for your comment and kind words. @@doraashby Prayer walking in your community is important even if you are under tight restrictions for Covid and you could offer to do a Bible study with a friend ? How about choosing 7 people in your life who don't yet know Jesus and setting an alarm on your phone to remind you to pray for one each day and out of that seek opportunities to serve them and speak to them about your faith. You don't need to know all the Answers to be effective in evangelism because it is chiefly a work of God which He does as we tell the truth about Jesus. X

@70 A.D. pretty much every decent pastor that I know will say that the last 2000 years actually is the last days but what you're thinking about is the end of times which is different that's the time around the tribulation and I think that people are getting that confused with each other. Trust me this guy's pretty much spot on but you can't rely on a human being 100% you can only rely on God for that. Ravi Zacharias kind of showed this unfortunately. God Bless!!!
I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......yes indeed i enjoy listening to this dear man of God and I much pray God's peace and comfort on him and his family each and everyday and that God uses him and his ministry mightily to much glorify and lift high the king of kings and the lord of lords!!!!!! to God Be All The Glory!!!!! Also Acts 16:30-31 what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house I am not threatening anyone but just warning them what will happen if they reject this precious gift of eternal life! Christ died a horrible criminals death! He was beaten brutally mocked spit upon and endured countless hours of torture pain for all of our sins! Ppl go to hell because they reject that pardon for their sins! And Jesus is saying to them in Matthew 25:41 depart from me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! God Bless everyone who reads!

Yes but? see there is no but, you can not be good enough to save yourself Jesus did the work for you, it is a free gift, Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV you are painfully deceived my friend you are relying on boasting your works to save you when you are judged, I'm afraid you will be turned away. It definitely feels like we are! I’ve been back and forth between prayer and Sin. I struggled with alcohol very bad. I’ve hurt myself very badly due to alcoholism. I broke my leg in two places in May,30 202. I got blacked out drunk and slipped down the stairs with my 5 month baby in my hand. Thank goodness she was ok!!🙏 I’ve been out of work for 4 months, lost all my money that we were saving to buy a house. I feel like it was a calling because now more focused than ever. My wife and I have been learning about our father in heaven and he has healed me from drinking. My body does not crave it anymore, which felt impossible Alcoholic ruled my life. I’m trying very hard because I want to be up there with him. It gives me great joy, that if he came today, my two baby girls will be ok. I guess that’s what really matters to me. I’m terrified to have them grow up in this evil world. Holidays are very questionable now.

Wow! This preach opened my eyes to many things. In everyday life, living among unbelievers, I end up asking myself "Is the problem with me?" That is, people give me their version of how they look at life and they think I am abnormal and I end up asking myself such a question, when in fact the Bible speaks of the fact that in the last days the truth will be perverted. Are we in the last days? Just before the election on October 30th there was an earthquake in Turkey. It wasn’t a 6.9 or a 7.1 but a perfect 7.0 right in the midst of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation. The earthquake was closet to Ephesus that very church which Jesus said left their first love. It seems the “shaking” is still going on.
We are in the last days. God gave me one word for 2022! Intense! This means everything we have seen in 2021 will be just intensified. More natural disasters, chaos, sickness and diseases. Calamity and division and these things will happen in a shorter period of time! Things will not go back to normal they will only proceed to get more intense until his coming. Prepare yourself for inflation and shortage of food and water. I also asked myself when will I stop believing in pretribulation. After the first seal is open, the last seal! God helps them who helps themselves! God will always do his part and we will have ours! Signs are there for a reason!

I feel so much hate in this world. Everytime I drive people are tailgating me. As I scan the radio dial there's so much rap music full of hate/killing/sex, etc. When I'm at the mall I see people with blue hair & ear disc, tattoos etc. It's all very ugly to me. I just wanna be gone from this place.

I weep with hope and sadness. My hope is in Jesus Christ and my sadness is in the scoffers whom I bore with gladness in my heart. What happened to my sweet babies who looked at me with awe and couldn't get enough of Mommie? Why do they go to churches and profess to be a Christian and not know the Ten Commandments where it states if you honor your parents; your days on this earth will be prolonged. Did these Ten Commandments get push aside between the Old and New Testament? I will answer my own question. Jesus said we can sum up the laws of the prophets in the Two New Commandments. Love Your God with all your heart and the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself. Sadly, these two New Commandments aren't given much weight. That's the answer, my children lost their first love along with their eternal love.
Though I am most definitely NOT a Dispensationalist as Calvary church is. This was a very good balanced message. In particular it was refreshing to hear from Dispensationalist church that the last days are from the first and second coming which is biblical and NOT from 1948. Also good to hear him point out false prophecies of Hal Lyndsay who is Dispensational. I am from the UK but lived in Albuquerque 1998-99 and used to attend a small OPC church just down the road from Calvary with 3-4 services on Sunday.

50 years ago on September 12 1972 I gave my life to Jesus, I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour. I was 18 years old. I want to thank the Lord for his amazing grace, his unconditional love and his faithfulness into my life during all these years. As Dr. David Jeremiah said in one of his sermon: "In the past I have been saved from the penalty of sin. In the present I am being saved from the power of sin. In the future I will be saved from the presence of sin. " Amen ! We are living at the end of the end time. Jesus is coming to rapture the church anytime. We born again Christians are going to be taken with Jesus before the tribulation. Amen ! Come Jesus come !
When Our Lord and Savior returns for us, it will be like a thief in the night. Accept Him as your Savior and be ready. These are very challenging times with many events unfolding around us.

A priest in Kautokeino ,Norway was attacked by doctors in Kautokeino in newspapers and even convinced the bishop to criticise the priest and suspend him. Just because he talks and reads from The Bible. Doctors and police have nothong against traditions of men , but reading from The Bible then you are in psychotic trance . a threat to public. Even here in a small corner of the world when a norwegian comes and is priest reads and talk out from The Bible then that exposes the false teachings what indigneous people have been victim of.
Norwegian government have misused The Bible and word of the God to steal our land.

The cool thing Kimberly, is that God already knows you, so it’s up to you to call on Him now and start inviting him to your life. In 2008, I started listening to Pastor Skip’s online sermons and would also attend on Wednesday night. I also started reading the Bible on my own and asking God to please guide me and help me to understand his word and to just use faith to apply his word. Try to search his past sermons and listen to them while you read his notes he provides as an attachment. It’s super helpful in helping you understand the Bible. Just start talking with God, it’s easier than you think! Of course, if you can attend in person it will be cool to be in a room with other people, some new and old believers, or just curious people; my point is to be around others may be helpful ... I use to listen to Skip a lot when I was in my 20s. I don't know what happened did he go off the radio? Somehow I lost his ministry. Yesterday when I put UA-cam on a very familiar voice began to speak. I thought to myself I know that voice, Skip No Way! To my surprise it was skip!!! 🥳🥳🥳 Wow!

I think his question is whether or not we’re living in the “latter days.” There are many passages about the latter days in the Old Testament.
Moreover, there are three chapters in the Gospels the reference the latter days: Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. These passages all refer to the “beginning of sorrows.”
After carefully studying these passages, I came to the conclusion that these aren’t the latter days. However, I believe that God will use the pandemic for his Glory.
One of his uses for the pandemic is to shake the nations, but more importantly the pandemic has shaken the foundations of eve church. Ultimately, the pandemic is a call to get our priorities straight and get in alignment with His purpose so we can do his work.
Theres a lot more passages that refer to the end times. Timothy, Daniel, Revelation, Zechariah. If you think were not living in the end times you need to seriously brush up on your eschatology.

I have trouble understanding the symbols that are embedded in the end times passages, due to intellectual disabilities. I would agree that we are seeing parts of Timothy’s passage on the end times being fulfilled. However, most of Revelation hasn’t occurred yet because we are still in the church age.
Moreover, the symbols of the end times that everyone will see: the great falling away, the revealing of the man of lawlessness, and the abomination of desolation also haven’t occurred yet.
In order for the abomination of desolation referenced in Daniel 9:27 to be fulfilled, a third temple has to built in Israel. Only after the temple is built can the abomination of desolation - perpetuated by the antichrist - occur. The fulfillment of this prophecy will usher in the great tribulation.
@@doraashby Well you know a lot actually. Think about humanity in the last 100 years. We have seen the re establishment of Israel as a nation. That is a 2000 year old prophecy found in Ezekiel. Many refer to this as the Figtree generation. Knowledge has increased and moves to and fro about the earth. This is a passage found in Daniel speaking on the end times. In the last 100 years we have the automobile, the plane, the internet. Prior to this we had horses. There is now nuclear power enough to destroy the entire earth 10x over. "As it was in the days of Noah so will it be in the last days" just like Sodom and Gomorrah. We see a perversion of Gods word and increase of homosexuality. Then we see Timothy's passage fulfilled beware in the final days perilous times will come. We also see climate change on a rapid scale breaking records constantly. Strange signs in the heavens. Scoffers saying where is the promise of his coming for all things continue as they have from the start. You can see the preparation for the third temple also. Also the technology leading to the mark of the beast currently exists. Were also in a worldwide plague. There are also wars and rumors of wars and rumors of ww3. Christian persecution is at an all time high worldwide. We also see the shadows of global governance and a push for unity between all religions. The signs are everywhere.

I agree that the re-establishment of Israel is important for the end times, because of the importance of a temple in end times prophecy. The fact that Jews are planning to build a third temple is encouraging, however, there is currently a mosque where the temple should be. The presence of the mosque is preventing the temple from being built, but this prophecy like all others in the Bible will be fulfilled according to God’s will.
Moreover, the fact that knowledge I agree that because knowledge is available via a simple Google search the prophecy in Daniel has been fulfilled. The explosion of technology is also a sign of human ingenuity.
The increase of homosexuality is both a fulfillment of the phrase “in the days of Noah” and a result of the fallen world we live in. The fulfillment of Timothy’s prediction is a testament to the me centered world we live in today, however, the passage in Timothy could also be seen through the lens of the regeneration that happens at salvation.
Climate change is a result of our refusal to take care of the environment God has given us. In the Garden of Eden God asked Adam and Eve to be be good stewards of the things he had given them. We have failed to be good stewards of the environment and have used it for selfish gains instead of God’s glory leading to climate change.
If by signs in the heavens you mean: the sun and moon being darkened, the moon turning to blood, and falling stars I haven’t seen those yet. But if by signs in the heavens you mean planetary alignment and solar eclipses we’ve seen these recently.
I have trouble recognizing the signs of a one world government and religion, could you elaborate on those signs. Moreover, even though the technology for the mark of the beast is available, the beast/antichrist must be revealed before the mark can be distributed.
This might not be related to end times prophecy, but there is a large number of people ordering the New Testament in Israel. This is a sign that Jews are understanding that the Old Testament speaks about Jesus and the prophetic significance of Jesus’ genealogy, life, death, and resurrection.
The persecution of Christians who follow and teach the Bible shouldn’t shock us because it has always happened. A part of the reason biblical Christianity is being persecuted against is because it’s teachings aren’t what the world wants to hear. We are called to rejoice when being persecuted and love those who persecute us. Suffering persecution is a powerful way to mimic how Jesus lived.

I've been looking for a new "internet" pastor over the last couple of years as my personal preferences have slowly declined or died off. As one who sees himself as a mature Christian and claiming truth of the Word, I think I have found him after listening to Pastor Heitzig several times. Thank you, Skip. I certainly need to hear it, because I’m a new Christian and I came to the faith because I could see that indeed good and evil are real, and as a recent college grad, I saw that the sick academic theories forced down our throats in public universities have thoroughly corrupted our social behavior and govt policies. That is evil, and even I as an atheist could see that. This realization pushed me to Christ.

Thank you Pastor Heitzig. Your message helped me overcome my fear of the end times. I know there is no need for me to fear these things because I have placed my faith and hope in Christ.
I came to faith in Christ on January 6th 2019, and haven’t looked back since. I plan to serving my Lord and Savior in accordance to scriptures regarding the limits to the service of women in the church.
Your message has prepared me to stand up for my faith during these complicated times in hopes of showing others what Jesus has done in my life. If skeptics are willing to hear my salvation story. I hope that by hearing my testimony skeptics would realize: their need for Jesus, the power of repentance, and the forgiveness of God. I hope that these realizations will help skeptics come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
I agree with your statement that the end times began at the ascension of Jesus Christ. However, I don’t believe that we’re in the final days of history, because the “fullness of the gentiles” hasn’t come in yet.
The apostasy you described in this teaching is foreshadowing of the great apostasy described in the New Testament. I agree that our focus should be on Jesus while we “occupy until he comes.”
Your teaching helped me connect the Old Testament teachings about the “Day of the Lord,” and the New Testament teachings of Jesus and John in Matthew, Mark, Luke and Revelation. Thank you for explaining this in a away that alleviates my fears.
However, I have a question regarding praying for the salvation of others. Should I continue to pray for the salvation of others or is it too late for them to accept Jesus as their savior?
Why would you think it is too late for others to accept Christ as their Savior? Jesus may not return for another 2,000 years. As long as you're in this world, witness to others about being Saved by Jesus Christ. I am hoping for Christ's return soon though. Blessings to you

Thank you for your help regarding praying for the salvation of others. I probably should have phrased the question differently. I understand that it’s not to late for people to accept Jesus as their savior.
I pray for Christ’s return every night. However, I understand that God has a plan and only he knows when Jesus will return.
Moreover, Jesus tells us the signs of his return in the first three Gospels. When we begin to see these signs we have no need to be afraid because we’re one step closer to eternity with Jesus in the New Heavens and New Earth.
As Christians we are instructed to “get our houses in order” and prepare for His return. This preparation is spiritual and not material.

@@doraashby Prayer walking in your community is important even if you are under tight restrictions for Covid and you could offer to do a Bible study with a friend ? How about choosing 7 people in your life who don't yet know Jesus and setting an alarm on your phone to remind you to pray for one each day and out of that seek opportunities to serve them and speak to them about your faith. You don't need to know all the Answers to be effective in evangelism because it is chiefly a work of God which He does as we tell the truth about Jesus. X

@70 A.D. pretty much every decent pastor that I know will say that the last 2000 years actually is the last days but what you're thinking about is the end of times which is different that's the time around the tribulation and I think that people are getting that confused with each other. Trust me this guy's pretty much spot on but you can't rely on a human being 100% you can only rely on God for that. Ravi Zacharias kind of showed this unfortunately.

If you want to know how to be saved from this horrible reality then please by all means don’t hesitate to comment right back so I can lead you to the savior! 2 Corinthians 6:2 clearly states “now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation!” And Hebrews 3:15 clearly states, “Today if you hear his voice don’t harden your hearts! it is not me but the Holy Spirit that I pray reveals to you the truth of his precious gospel......John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes on him will not perish but have everlasting life! V 17 says then V 18 says whoever believes on the son is not condemned but whoever does not believe on the son is condemned already because he has not believed on the son whom God has sent! Also Acts 16:30-31 what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house I am not threatening anyone but just warning them what will happen if they reject this precious gift of eternal life! Christ died a horrible criminals death! He was beaten brutally mocked spit upon and endured countless hours of torture pain for all of our sins! Ppl go to hell because they reject that pardon for their sins! And Jesus is saying to them in Matthew 25:41 depart from me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! God Bless everyone who reads!

It definitely feels like we are! I’ve been back and forth between prayer and Sin. I struggled with alcohol very bad. I’ve hurt myself very badly due to alcoholism. I broke my leg in two places in May,30 202. I got blacked out drunk and slipped down the stairs with my 5 month baby in my hand. Thank goodness she was ok!!🙏 I’ve been out of work for 4 months, lost all my money that we were saving to buy a house. I feel like it was a calling because now more focused than ever. My wife and I have been learning about our father in heaven and he has healed me from drinking. My body does not crave it anymore, which felt impossible Alcoholic ruled my life. I’m trying very hard because I want to be up there with him. It gives me great joy, that if he came today, my two baby girls will be ok. I guess that’s what really matters to me. I’m terrified to have them grow up in this evil world.
Holidays are very questionable now.

Are we in the last days? Just before the election on October 30th there was an earthquake in Turkey. It wasn’t a 6.9 or a 7.1 but a perfect 7.0 right in the midst of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation. The earthquake was closet to Ephesus that very church which Jesus said left their first love. It seems the “shaking” is still going on.

We are in the last days. God gave me one word for 2022! Intense! This means everything we have seen in 2021 will be just intensified. More natural disasters, chaos, sickness and diseases. Calamity and division and these things will happen in a shorter period of time! Things will not go back to normal they will only proceed to get more intense until his coming. Prepare yourself for inflation and shortage of food and water.
I also asked myself when will I stop believing in pretribulation. After the first seal is open, the last seal! God helps them who helps themselves! God will always do his part and we will have ours! Signs are there for a reason!

I feel so much hate in this world. Everytime I drive people are tailgating me. As I scan the radio dial there's so much rap music full of hate/killing/sex, etc. When I'm at the mall I see people with blue hair & ear disc, tattoos etc. It's all very ugly to me. I just wanna be gone from this place.

I weep with hope and sadness. My hope is in Jesus Christ and my sadness is in the scoffers whom I bore with gladness in my heart. What happened to my sweet babies who looked at me with awe and couldn't get enough of Mommie? Why do they go to churches and profess to be a Christian and not know the Ten Commandments where it states if you honor your parents; your days on this earth will be prolonged. Did these Ten Commandments get push aside between the Old and New Testament? I will answer my own question. Jesus said we can sum up the laws of the prophets in the Two New Commandments. Love Your God with all your heart and the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself. Sadly, these two New Commandments aren't given much weight. That's the answer, my children lost their first love along with their eternal love.

Though I am most definitely NOT a Dispensationalist as Calvary church is. This was a very good balanced message. In particular it was refreshing to hear from Dispensationalist church that the last days are from the first and second coming which is biblical and NOT from 1948. Also good to hear him point out false prophecies of Hal Lyndsay who is Dispensational. I am from the UK but lived in Albuquerque 1998-99 and used to attend a small OPC church just down the road from Calvary with 3-4 services on Sunday.
