It sits near Mount Etna, an active volcano with trails leading to the summit. The town is known for the Teatro Antico di Taormina, an Ancient Greek theatre, for luxury villas overlooking the sea and the natural beauty of this Italian city. Solo travel to Taormina became a blessing when I found myself surrounde day the most beautiful Italian streets and landscapes. Found in Taormina the best pistachio store in Sicily with everything made out of pistachio and never been happier, best pistachio granita and ice cream.
