- Schecter Orleans Stage in 2020
I had to re-do this video with new strings on this guitar to do it justice. This is one of the best, affordable, guitars on the market and I can highly recommend them.
If interested, here is a link to this guitar with all the specs:

Randy's Rhythm is a new channel that is awesome for learning finger style and I can highly recommend him. Here is the link to his UA-cam channel:

Black Mountain Picks came up with an awesome idea for making a guitar pic to help people out who suffered from injuries or arthritis to get back into playing guitar again. I had 2 strokes and it left my right side simi-paralyzed, bad enough that holding a pic was impossible. This invention fixes all this for me.
Here is Black Mountain Picks Website, where you can purchase these pics.

Dude! South Williamsport here! I like your video of this Schecter acoustic. Schecter makes some great guitars!
No way, Williamsport? I am very familiar with your city and go there a lot. I'm only about 20 minutes from your city.
Northern Idaho in the house, Saturday December 19th at 10:41 a.m, How's it going Glockman, awesome guitar, definitely beautiful guitar.
Doing good sir. Just got a ton of snow but other then that, it's been good.
Yeah, there snow here too, an it's 🥶cold, ✌in.
The melody is beautiful. What is the song?
By the way, I was very interested for this guitar, but, I decided, to buy a Art & Lutherie Americana Bourbon Burst CW QIT because I didn't wanted to buy a guitar online without testing it. It's also my first acoustic guitar. With many videos, including yours, I think my the sound is more raw than bright. Amyeay, next time, when It will be the moment, I will buy this guitar that I profoundly want.
Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it :)
P.s.: you guys did great! Continue to have fun!
Here is a list of the songs we played:
1. The first song I played, I wrote before my first stroke and I never came up with words or a name.
2. Second song I played was just messing around with an old 60s tune.
3. Third song I played was another no name tune. I play that while Noah practices his lead picking.
Remember, after my second stroke I lost my feeling in my right side and am having to learn how to strum and pick a guitar all over again. I will never get that back but I'm finally learning how to get around it.
4. The 4rth doing I played was "House of the rising sun" by the Eagles.
5. The 5th song Noah played and I think it was a Beetles song.. I think. .lol.. I will ask him when he gets home from school.
I just picked up a Recording King RD-328, which is an exact copy of the Martin D28 for $750.00. it's solid Adirondacks spruce top, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides and mahogany neck. If you are a Martin fan but can't afford the cost of a Martin, check out Recording King. They also make solid mahogany back inside guitars from about $550.00 to $650.00.
And thank you so much for the compliment. I've struggled with my second stroke a lot. Losing my right side was a disaster to me. But I guess I'm just glad to be alive. So it is what it is. But again, thank you very much.
Schecter makes superior guitars.
Yes they do. We also purchased their C-1 E/A because of the Piezo pick up system that allows for playing it in a more acoustic sound. My grandson loves that guitar and we will be doing a video on that soon.
@@HayesTech Wow - The C-1 E/A looks incredible. I didn't even know they made that model - I've looked at everything on their website but I never came across it. I have a Reaper 6 FR-S and I just got a Nick Johnston Traditional HSS. The Reaper is amazing - it cost me $950 and it plays like a $2000 guitar. I haven't played the Johnston yet as it arrived just a short while ago....
@@HayesTech I have a 20-year old Yamaha electric-acoustic that has a twist in the neck, so I'm looking for a replacement. Yamaha has a gazillion different models. Schecter only makes 3 different 6 string E-As. I know it's not their specialty, but if the quality is as good as their electrics, then I'm definitely going to see what they offer...

You have some great guitars. I would be happy to play any of them. Yes, Schecter isn't into acoustic guitars like they are they're electrics but they are slowly starting to fill that gap now too. Noah still plays it, even though he has his Gibson J45, in rosewood, now.
Lol.. He has so many acoustic guitar now...lol... But his favorite now is his J45.
I even still like to pull out his Schecter and play it. It's got loads of volume and the way it's made, thin and 000 sized, it's much easier for me to play with my stroke issues.
@@HayesTech Thanks - until recently the only electric I owned was a Charvette that someone gave to me 25 years ago. About 3 years ago I got back into playing again after many years off, and then I bought an EVH Wolfgang Standard (which I really like) and the two Schecters. The Yamaha is not that great though - it is an FGX-412SC, which was basically an entry-level model that I bought along with a Fender Acoustasonic Jr amp one day at Guitar Center. It sounds nice when amplified, but on its own its just barely passable...
