So, here we are ... the end of GvG is finally here. If you want to play GvG, this weekend is the time to do so! We also have some other news, QI will now finally be available on mobile on beta, and the Antiques Dealer is getting some significant rebalancing!

I played, miss it, and so do the twenty others in our guild who actively showed up and the other 15 or so that gave drops, filled troops, and donated 100s of millions of goods to support GvG. Thanks to you!
For me gvg was the most fun part of the game. But as if you don't spend diamonds it's not interesting for innogames anymore. I will miss my evenings on discord with my guildmates, making strategies, winning and loosing together, it was an intelligent and interesting feature.
The best feature of the game - GvG will be removed. I understand the reasons behind it from the company's perspective. QI is a combination of cultural settlements and guild expeditions = it is boring. I am an active GvG player and I am considering ending my adventure with this game. That was the last feature that kept me engaged. Guild battlegrounds are repetitive, random in terms of rival selections, and not able to support long-term strategies. What was the best in the GvG was the fact, that you were able to fight with the guild that became your rivals on the map, not selected by some random draw. I will miss the strategy, planning, and executing different maneuvers to fool the enemy. The best part was the long-term build of dominance and looking for allies to maintain it. There is no better feeling than winning the sector after 30 or 50 sieges. Yes, we had battles like that. When I speak with other active GvG players, they have similar fillings and now considering dropping the game. But we are not a representative group, as we were for more than a year the top 1 GvG guild on our server.
Inno only cares about $$$ and GvG did not bring in any (or enough) for them.
I was here GVG til the Last Recalc & was there for 3 recalcs to. Was Very fun to battle with my friends & guildmates. I Truly will miss it & Those we lost & have battled with along the way.
That, plus people gathered on voice channels to play together. I've met many people that way. Sad it's no longer going to be a thing

Maybe someone has an alternative how to find a game for 20 players where the game will be on Discord
I've been waiting for the rebalancing of the Antiques Dealer for ages! Its great to see the feature getting is finally being updated.
Been playing the game for four years, started on my phone and eventually I alternated it with the web version. Played GvG only a few times but never got into it, I prefer GbG and GE. Curious to see this new QI mode. Keep up the good content.

Please make an option to disable/enable exclusive buildings from your sortable table - by exclusive I mean all buildings, that are obtainable only via leagues in events like Trailside Smithy or Garden of Eternal Dreams
GVG was the best part of the game. Nightly discord with guildmates made it fun and gave me an opportunity to meet people and make friends if even only online but it kept me engaged. I've been playing since . Our guild dominated the number one ranking for 978 days. That was because of discord and all the fun we had. Now what is the point??? It's no better than any other online game that has NO real interaction other than messages. I'm waiting to see how Incursions go as I only play on a PC/IMAC. Holding out hope.

How do you get the building for the end of gvg? Only if you fight on the last province with tour guilde or if you played gvg even if you didn't play the last days?
For that token will everyone get that or did we have to have played GVG at some point over the years
Sooo, when does the antique dealer update? Mine still offers useless items and really nothing of what's been promised..
Played GvG pretty much every night for the last 7 years. Shame it couldn't be fixed, but it is what it is.
It's a bummer GvG is gone next week, it is the best part for strategic set up's against all other guilds or even just to upset some guilds if you wanted to. I understand however that it has to go due to the lack to make it playable for mobile players. But to replace it with something that has not the feel by far what GvG is makes me really sad. It's more and more all about buying diamonds which to me transforms FoE in a greedy company that has already made a fortune in the past decade or so. I guess you get more greedy the more you earn, that's yet again for everybody to see. I've seen players spending almost all their income in this game over the years, yet it's not enough. More players have to spend and feed the greedyness of presumebly those who weren't even there in the beginning.
How “Active” is active enough to get the “Last Province”? I never learned GvG, but I’ve gone in and taken a sector to try to get that. Do I need to still be holding the sector at the shutdown in order to get it? I’ve unlocked as many defensive slots as I can but seeing how powerful the neighbors are I’m not confident in my forces ability to hold them off for a whole week.
You don't need to play gvg to get the last province. You just need to play the game: ge, gbg or whatever.
If you are active you shoukd get it even if you NEVER once played gvg.

I really love GvG... It's rly sad they take it down... The good thing is, that they won't need to fix the bugs wich are around for like 1-2 years.. QI isn't going to be enjoiable for me, tried it on beta but dislike'd it

QI is boring and not interesting at all...
AD should be 1 or half an hour per item. 99% I completely forgot it.
So they completely removed the Wishing Well, from the AD.
I dont find it really fair for the cartographer house to be on the trades. It drops its value

I'm about one more stupid change from quitting this game all together. Thr Antique Rebalance is awful. I enjoyed the occasional Wishing Well and Shrink kits that would become available for purchase, but with every passing update they change and make things harder for active diamond farms. I am starting to feel like im just wasting my time now playing a game that keeps going farther down a rabbit hole of stupid.

I've been playing FoE for 7 years and do gvg all the time and will miss it so. If qi is as boring as battlegrounds l may quit the game, l hope it doesn't come to that. Imo the AH changes will make it even more useless than it is right now. Ridiculously high starting bids for auctions is a turn off and it looks like the stuff on the shelves is just junk l already have tons of in storage.
QI is much more relaxed, which is definitely a double-edged sword. I think many will find it quite boring.
Last Province is not available for me, I take it it's for Active GvG players only?

GvG is literally the worst aspect of the game being nothing but a waste of goods, units, and time with zero rewards for the players. QI will be a far better feature.
