I have another video on my channel of firing it up in front of my house after changing out blower pulleys. Surprisingly my neighbors never came out and haven’t said anything about it haha
We made 10 minutes on a tank yesterday. But glad I have a extra 5 gallon tank I can transfer from because she drinks that VP 110 about as fast as a hobo chugs a beer.
Yes the motor is in backwards and is connect to a v drive via a driveshaft. No jet pump here. Then another shaft comes out of the lower end of the v drive that is called the prop shaft. It runs through the bottom of the boat and spins the propeller.
@@gridermotorsports I actually found a blown shove nose with a modified Cassel V-drive and ticks all my boxes except it’s an all race single seater. I’d at least like to scare someone else with me lol

Trailers pretty deep in the water , water is very high up on the side of the hull and still no sign of it floating ! Lol.

It’s an 871 and yes is on top of a tunnel ram manifold that had an adapter plate made for it to work.
